Our villa is truly a family labor of love.

My mom, the owner, has spent much of her life helping operate our family's large grain farm in Ohio. She has always loved to travel and experience new places, and over the years she planned of owning a special place where family, friends, and guests could enjoy making vacation memories of their own. When she discovered Hilton Head Island and the beauty of the Shipyard community, she knew she had found that special place.
As the years have gone by, it has become my privilege to manage the villa for her. I enjoy taking care of every detail and treating each guest the way I would want my own family to be treated. My goal is for every guest to arrive to a clean, comfortable, well-equipped home where they can simply relax and enjoy their vacation.
Because we're a family-owned property—not a large management company—we take great pride in offering personal service. I'm always happy to answer questions before your trip, provide recommendations for restaurants, activities, golf, biking, or local favorites, and help in any way I can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Nothing brings us more joy than hearing that families celebrated an anniversary, watched their children build sandcastles, introduced grandchildren to the ocean for the first time, or simply found a peaceful place to reconnect. Those are the memories we hoped this villa would help create.

One of the reasons we fell in love with this villa was its location in the beautiful, gated Shipyard community on Hilton Head Island. Shipyard is known for its peaceful, park-like setting with towering live oaks, swaying palms, lagoons, and abundant wildlife. It's the perfect place to relax while still being close to everything the island has to offer.
One of our favorite features is the private, shaded walk to the beach. In about 8 minutes, you'll find yourself enjoying miles of wide, beautiful Atlantic shoreline. We also provide access to our private beach locker stocked with beach chairs, making your beach days even more convenient.
If you enjoy biking or walking, you'll love the miles of paved leisure trails that wind throughout Shipyard. Ride beneath magnificent oak trees draped in Spanish moss, explore the natural beauty of the community, or connect to Hilton Head's extensive network of bike paths that lead to shopping, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Coligny is an easy five minute ride out of Shipyards' back gate.
Guests also enjoy the convenience of the community pool just a short walk from the villa, along with easy access to world-class golf, tennis, and the renowned Van der Meer Tennis Center. The gated entrance provides added privacy and security, creating a peaceful atmosphere that families, couples, and snowbirds alike appreciate.

Our villa combines the comforts of home with the amenities of a resort in one of Hilton Head's most desirable gated communities. We've thoughtfully updated the villa to create a warm, inviting space where guests can truly relax after a day at the beach or exploring the island.
One of our guests' favorite features is our private beach locker, stocked with four beach chairs, so you don't have to carry bulky equipment back and forth. We also provide beach towels and a selection of beach toys, making packing easier for families.
Inside, you'll find comfortable furnishings, including La-Z-Boy recliners, luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, free high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and board games for family fun. The spacious layout comfortably accommodates couples, families, or friends traveling together, with a king bedroom, a second bedroom featuring a queen and twin bed, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
The villa is just a short, shaded walk to the beach and only a couple of minutes from the community pool. Guests love being able to leave the car parked and enjoy walking or biking throughout the beautiful Shipyard community.
