We enjoyed our stay a lot. My husband and son were in a fishing tournament this weekend and staying there cut their drive to the boat ramp from 1 hour 45 mins to 10 mins and allowed us to spend time together over the weekend. Everything was lovely!

We had a really good experience , The host was very responsive, the location was great, The house was well supplied with all the essentials.If we have 1 complaint the house could have been a little cleaner. (cleanliness was a 7 out of 10) We hope to come back in the future, The whole Family really enjoyed their stay.

Nice house near the lake

Good spot for our family to come together during the holidays, plenty of room to spread out and for activities, although no basement access.

Family getaway

We had a quick little family getaway. It was great for the ten of us. The kayaks and paddle boards were a hit! The fire pit was large enough for us all to sit around. We really enjoyed our stay.

Best Vacation Spot Ever

From booking to check out it was all a huge blessing. The home was so inviting and relaxing. The personal touches the family provided were unexpected but so appreciated. The grounds were beautiful and there was lots of outdoor activities to keep our family busy. We can’t wait to go back next summer!

Family of 11 stayed for three nights and it felt like home! We cooked large meals for breakfast and dinner each day. All supplies we needed were at our fingertips. Hope to visit again!

Fishing Trip

Perfect location for fishing with multiple boat ramps in the house has tranquility with not a lot of neighbor's. Only downfall is not a lot of restaurants or grocery stores in the area.

Quick get away

The house was decent for what we needed. Could use a few more kitchen utensils for cooking, hot water didn’t last long for showers, some of the photos definitely need updating on the original listing. Overall it was good for what we needed

We have never received any complaints about this in the past regarding the hot water. The kitchen utensils are in a container on the counter and drawer with extras. We use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised. We wish you had reached out to us during your stay if there were any issues you needed to be addressed. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home. Eclipse Haven

We went to this property to view the April 8th eclipse. It’s looked very beautiful and well maintained. Check-in was very easy and the owner even let us check in 3 hours early. The property was super clean, and turned out to be a rural oasis where we all enjoyed each other company, had a fire in their newly graded and graveled pit. Very nice! They even had some wood there. We had brought our own and didn’t need theirs, but it was impressive anyway. The eclipse was easily visible from the deck. Couldn’t have been a more perfect spot. We took games and planned a big poker game, but we enjoyed the property so much we never actually got round to either. It was fun just taking in the views. I would definitely go there again.

Great Weekend!!!

We had a great time staying at the house! There were 11 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and move around. The owners had plenty of extras for us if we needed them (spices, coffee and creamer, toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, and everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need). We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit! They also had kayaks, paddle boards, float toys, sand toys for the kids, a wagon to haul stuff on the beach, beach chairs, and a foosball table in the garage. We didn't get to use the kayaks or paddle boards, even though we would have liked to. It is quite a ways down to the water to try to carry them back and forth, and pretty steep in places. All in all, though, we had a lot of fun with our kids and grandkids and celebrating my husbands birthday while there. We will definitely consider renting this house again in the future!!

Peace and Quiet House right on the lake

The house was amazing. It was large and spacious and just as described. It was close to the lake, even though we couldn't enjoy due to the weather. There were quite a bit of bugs in the home, alive and dead, but that is expected in a home that is remote and close to the woods and lake. We are excited to book back in the summer to enjoy the lake!
