House was just the right size four our family of four. The location was excellent with young kids (1 & 3), within walking distance of the library, hands on museum, and coffee shops. We would definitely stay here again.
It was our first time to Ann Arbor and we are so glad we booked our weekend here! The location is great- walking distance to great shops and restaurants! The place was clean when we arrived and the host is very communicative. Thank you for having us and we hope to be back sooner than later!
Ann Harbor Guesthouse is a great place to stay! Itâs so close to restaurants and campus and Ann Arbor is a fun city to be in. The host was very accommodating with our checkout which we so appreciated.
Wonderful place full of amenities & easy check in process and communication with property manager. Location is perfect-walkable to all downtown areas. Would definitely stay again.
We booked a one night turnaround for a concert at The Ark-perfect walking distance location, great vibe, well maintained property. Would totally book again!
Nina was so easy to communicate with and the whole process so easy. The home was clean and well stocked and put together well. We had 4 people but you could easily have 6.Just perfect!
Perfect for our trip back to Ann Arbor for the game this past weekend. It was a cozy and clean apartment which easily accommodated our party of 7 adults. Can't beat the location either!
We had a great weekend away at this property. You truly canât beat the location! Highly recommend for alumni coming back to visit or anyone that wants to explore Michiganâs campus and downtown Ann Arbor. Easily walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, Kerrytown, and whatever else you want to see in the downtown/campus area. The home was clean and well stocked. Host was very responsive via text message and the co-host was nice enough to help return a wallet that someone in our group had dropped outside. Thanks again!
This property is in a great location with all Ann Arbor amenities within walking distance. The unit was well stocked with all necessities. The only minor complaint would be that the carpets seemed in need of refreshing. Overall, great property in an ideal location.
Comfortably fit five and we were very impressed on the cleanliness and comfort of the home. The location was the best part, and literally walking distance from everything in Ann Arbor. I fell in love with the area and the house was the perfect getaway spot for the weekend. Nina did EXCELLENT in assuring that we had a great weekend. Highly recommended!
We really enjoyed our stay in Ann Arbor thanks in a large part to Nina's hospitality. The rental was clean and more spacious than I expected. Everything we needed was available and we were a short walking distance to the major points of interest in the town. My two young children (7 and 9) loved the town and the bedroom with two twin beds. I would definitely rent this place again if we were to return to Ann Arbor!
We enjoyed how close we were to restaurants and activities. Easy to run/walk to the river from the house. We especially enjoyed sitting out in the backyard to relax during the day. Beds were comfortable, and towels were plentiful, fresh, and clean. Kitchen was spacious enough to use comfortably. The only downside - which I think is just by virtue of this being a historic home - is that it was a little musty and we needed to take allergy meds! I imagine that will be the same everywhere downtown since the homes were build 120+ years ago. We were very happy with our stay!
We loved our stay!
-Amazing location with many restaurants/campus nearby.
-The 3-bedrooms are on the lower level of a charming home with its own kitchen/bath/off-street parking space.
-If additional space is needed, know the upstairs floor/loft is also available to separately rent, with a shared porch/garden seating area. You can hear some footsteps above you though earplugs are kindly provided for you if that is a concern.
-If renting in the summer, know there are two AC units, one in the queen bedroom and one in the family room that easily cooled off the other bedrooms if you keep the bedroom doors open.
-Bring/Buy paper plates if you have a large group and want to avoid hand washing your dishes.
-Needed Nina's help with a VRBO billing issue and she was super generous with her time and near instant communication.
Will absolutely be staying here again!
I stay busy running the Guest Houses in Ann Arbor staying in all 4 Guesthouses every other month or so, or I am in my art studio painting abstract art or gardening in the summer in the Smokies. I call North Carolina mountains my home but travel back and forth to Ann Arbor, enjoying my time in one of the 4 Ann Arbor Guest Houses. What a life!
I lived in this property back in the 90's and mentioned to the landlord a few years later that it would make a great Ann Arbor Guest House. He offered it to me in the Spring of 2012 and I got busy pulling it together. It is a work in progress. I love staying here and remembering the 'good 'ol days' when I would dart in and out of my apartment enjoying the fun filled life of living right in the middle of town.
Everything is within a 5 block walk, U of M, Main Street, Kerrytown! Okay, walking to the Stadium takes a few more blocks to get there. Having a parking space in town is a big plus if you think you need a car. Teeming life on the streets on the other side of your front door.
