Beautiful 19th century home located in Downtown Ann Arbor blocks from the U of M. Hospitals and Campuses. This rrenovated home has been split into two totally separate units one upper and one lower. This upper unit features four bedrooms with exposed brick, reclaimed wood, and each one with its own television for those lazy mornings! You will wake up refreshed and rejuvenated after a peaceful night's sleep in our luxurious queen-sized beds. The fabulous kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need! It has granite counter tops, garbage disposal, dishwasher and all stainless steel appliances. There is a large living room area where you may lounge on the super comfortable leather couches and snuggle by the cozy electric fireplace while watching a movie on the 65' flat screen TV. The separate dining room has an oak dining room table with chairs. If you need to do laundry there is a sweet little laundry room. This home is set apart, not only by its attention to detail, but its proximity to Downtown Ann Arbor and all of its shopping and famous restaurants! For all of you active people -just around the corner is Argo park which offers a walking/biking trail around the Huron River . The park has a fabulous canoe livery and grilling!
Location was a very short drive to most UMich sites and shopping areas. There is a park very nearby as well as the river. House was immaculate. One of the four bedrooms has a sitting area and is on the third floor, separate from everything else which is great for privacy. Great space overall! The owner was very responsive and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again!
The home was immaculately clean with lots of personal touches. We had plenty of room and questions were easily taken care of. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at this very comfortable property. The host clearly takes good care of the property - the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you might need. The location is great - a 10 min walked to everything downtown. The host is extremely responsive to questions. Comfortable sofas and chairs to gather in the living room. Just perfect for our stay.
Great location, walkable to town. Very clean, well stocked. Room for all with 4 bedrooms. Host communicated quickly and clearly. Would highly recommend.
Kathy's house was perfect for our recent visit to Ann Arbor to visit our son at UMich and attend our first football game at the Big House. Kathy's house offered all the comforts of home. It was just a short walk to downtown and was close to grocery options and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. (Bonus - it was very close (walking distance) to our son's rowing practice!)
We had a great experience with Kathy and her home is beautiful and well stocked. Easy check in and great communication. She checked in with us via text and she provides all the much needed kitchen items and snacks. We walked to The Big House for football game. Walked to places to eat. Great location! Comfortable beds. We loved it! Spacious house. Easy and convenient.
We absolutely LOVED this prooerty. From the moment we walked in the door we were met with welcome snacks and easily understood directions for use of the property. The bedroom on the top floor doubled as a living room for us and provided a great space between the accommodation that was in the basement of the property. Kathy was a great communicator, checking in on Saturday to make sure we had everything we needed. And let me not forget the beds, I am nit exaggerating when I say I may have had the best sleep in at least a year! The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The added bonus of being so close to downtown made for a perfect stay!
Everyday we went for walks. It was easy to get to the Ann Arbor street fair, Kerrytown and The Big House. Great location with old time charm. Loved all the brick work in the house.
This was a great location- easy walk to UM campus. Rooms were clean and fully stocked with the short-term renter in mind. Host was very responsive and reached out to see that all was OK. I would stay here again!
Daughter deciding on University of Ann Arbor Michigan
Our family came here to check out the town of Ann Arbor. This rental property was perfect to check out the area. It had everything we needed. Kathy was wonderful to work with and we would love to come back sometime.
The house is pretty nice and cozy. It met our needs for a two night visit to the area. They clearly take good care of the property. The only thing to mention is that the listing states a whole house, but there is another rental in the basement. So instead of having peace of mind that you have rented an entire house, there is the possibility of roommates. And you are expected to be careful about the people below you.
Everything about our stay was great. The accommodations were comfortable and anticipated what any traveler would want. The location is the biggest plus! Itâs a short walk to downtown to restaurants and the campus. Weâd definitely stay here on a future trip to Ann Arbor!
Terrific value, very convenient large house close to all
We were 5-6 adults aged 32-79 coming into Ann Arbor for a university event. The house was perfect for us and the description is clear and accurate. Super clean and comfortable, all our needs were amply met. Location is really convenient and walkable to all (the university, Zingermans, downtown, the Huron River walk and kayaking). Kathy was a pleasure to work with and very clear in her communication. High recommendation from me and my whole group.
We have stayed at this property several times. It is our favorite place to stay in Ann Arbor. The house is in a great location with easy access by foot to Kerrytown and downtown. It is a very cute and comfortable home and the owner is extremely communicative and pleasant. We highly recommend this property!
Perfect house, location, and host. I was visiting my son at U Michigan for a few days and this was the perfect base.
I especially appreciated the quick communication with the host, Kathy.
The bed was super comfortable, WiFi fast, parking off-street and easy.
This will be my first choice when returning to Ann Arbor.
