Ketchum Visit

The condo was small but well furnished with a good size deck that also provided access to the condo. For the price, it was exceptional. Location is Elkhorn, and it was easy to drive the back route to Ketchum. We saw 2 different elk herds coming and going. Also easy access to the bike path for walking/biking in both directions. Only good for 2 people, but comfortable and efficient for that number.

Very cozy great for a couple.

Enjoyed our stay. There was absolutely everything one needed for cooking . Little patio was perfect for sitting outside, an umbrella would be great during hotter months but for us it was perfect. Wish there was a bigger chair with a full back, I’m a very large person so the seating was a challenge. Bathroom access is through the bedroom only so using the toilet after the other couple went to bed was a no no for me. The place is lovely for a couple with a younger child, or a couple on a quiet retreat. Spotless and well appointed.

Well appointed and masterfully curated unit

We loved our stay in Sun Valley! The condo has everything you can think of, and IF a gadget is missing in the kitchen, you probably don't need it ;-) Perfect blend of beauty and comfort. Our pup could not of been happier enjoying early morning fetches in the back yard area AKA Dollar Mountain. We enjoyed downhill and XC skiing, but best of all, coming back to fireside wine and appetizers with our pup in a beautiful setting was the best! Communication was fast and flawless. The owners appear to have thought of everything activity wise - in addition to the usual restaurant recommendations. Already looking forward to coming back this summer!

Too much knowledge of technology needed this year. My wife and I are in our mid/late 70's. More hard copies with instructions would have helped. Example new TV/internet/WiFi. Appreciate the owner trying to help us resolve issues with the door as well. This is a charming unit and will think about renting again.

The location was convenient. Can’t say it was deep cleaned.

The location was convenient to River Run.we liked being in the first floor corner suite. We were informed that our dishwasher was not working. We were told it would be repaired during our stay. It was not repaired. My wife cooks breakfast and will cook a couple of nights. So being on vacation she had dishes to wash by hand. My wife is very thorough in cleanliness. The rugs didn’t appear to be vacuumed. There was no vacuum on the location or we would have vacuumed. She swept under the throw rugs and swept up so much dirt. I took pictures but it doesn’t appear that I can post them here. The overall stay and location was okay… the service and cleanliness we gave a 2.

Hi Ruth, we're glad you enjoyed the location, but we're sorry cleanliness issues impacted your stay. After going over your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following: - The dishwasher, unfortunately, sprang a leak two days before your arrival. I authorized a rush delivery on the part in an effort to minimize the inconvenience and reached out to inform you of the situation and apologize. - I was informed that our local property manager contacted you after your arrival to ask if it would be okay to do the repair on Wednesday, February 8 (day 3 of your stay) and that you agreed to this. - When the repair person arrived that day, you were not at the home. Our property manager communicated to me that they entered and repaired the unit. He also stated that they removed the out-of-order sign and turned on the dishwasher to run it. - While our property manager believes it should have been obvious that the dishwasher was fixed, it sounds like there was an unfortunate communication snafu. I would've preferred my property manager had communicated by phone or text that the issue was resolved and that you knew you had a working dishwasher for the remaining six days of your stay. I apologize for not handling this communication personally but trusted our local property manager to handle this as they had already been in touch with you. - I'm surprised and disappointed to hear about your cleanliness concerns, as I make cleanliness a top priority. - Prior to your stay, there was a month-long renter with a dog who declined my offer of complementary cleaning during their stay. Therefore, I paid our property manager to do extra cleaning upon their departure. Apparently, this was not sufficient, and I've expressed my displeasure to my property manager. - There is no vacuum in the unit due to storage space issues, however, there is a hand vacuum, a broom, and a Swifter for guests to use. These work well for the hardwood floor but admittedly not for the rug, which I expect the cleaning team to thoroughly vacuum. When we visit next, we will determine how a vacuum may be accommodated. - The throw rug in the kitchen is sisal and sheds terribly. It's not dirt underneath but the degradation of the fiber. I like the look and size of the rug but will take your feedback and look for a more suitable alternative. I appreciate your feedback as I always strive to provide my guests with an excellent experience!

Place is perfectly furnished, beautiful morning light, quiet, and parking is easy and closes by. Communication was excellent with the owners.
