Beautiful House, Some Issues
A group of us coaches stayed here with our children. Here's the rundown. The Pros:-The home was beautifully remodeled.-Our flight landed at 12am, so we "checked in" during the middle of the night, and it was extremely quick and easy.-Awesome showers and bathrooms.-Security with "Ring" like doorbell camera front and back door outside.-Convenient location to downtown. We were at the Georgia World Congress Center Thursday-Sunday and were able to get there in about 10 minutes even during high traffic hours. -The kitchen had everything our group needed to prepare meals.-Ample parking outside and a nice patio area in the backyard. The Cons:-Near train tracks. You'll need a hefty sound machine to drain out the noise (we all heard it every day at 3am, 4am, and 5am).-The master bed was very comfy, but there were complaints of the "squeakiness" of the mattresses and beds from the adults in our group. -Electrical outlets in the kitchen were not functioning.-Some long hair in the bathrooms and in the comforters upon our arrival made us question how well the house was cleaned.-Areas around the neighborhood appeared rundown. This wasn't a huge issue for us as we expected it this close to downtown, but a heads up to any families traveling. Definitely "up and coming" with renovated homes like this one, but also some rundown ones too.
