The heart of the home is an open-concept kitchen and living space that flows effortlessly onto an expansive waterfront deck. We enjoyed our brief time at the house. The house was nice and cozy and just like the pictures showed. We would definitely stay there again. Kind of felt like when we would visit grandmas house as kids .. we all slept great as well. The keyless lock entry was nice as we got there a little early and went right in.

Family Fun & Getaway

Beautiful property sitting on the bay. Definitely has most amenities needed for a quick weekend get away. Weather was perfect for Galveston events. Some items were addressed with Coastal Waves that need attention. Look forward to returning again!

Not exactly as expected

The details for check in were lovely. However, after we arrived a day late the door would not unlock. The management kept saying it was because we were checking in too early in the day. I kept having to explain - we paid for last night - this is not early. As we came in the place was beautiful and very clean. However, as we began to use things we realized many things didn't work. The refrigerator ice maker was broken. the tv in the bunk room was shattered. One of the toilets with automatic seats would not go down. When I let the management company know of the refrigerator the reply was a rude - "you are just telling us now! you checked in yesterday". Then I had to remind him no you just let me in 15 minutes ago cuz the combination lock on the door wouldn't work remember? I let them know of the tv being shattered, and no one ever replied. We did not need it but goodness, if I owned this house I would hope someone would notice a shattered tv. None of the solar lights worked outside. Most of the large outside lights are burned out - I believe only the small lights come on. The cushions for the furniture are mostly destroyed. A neighbor asked us to let the management company know that there is an alarm in the garage that has continuously been going off. Just seems it is beautiful - too bad it is not maintained. Not sure if anyone managing it actually goes by to see it.

I am sorry to hear your stay was not ideal. I am sorry for any rudeness on the part of the staff. I want to assure you that we are committed to providing our guests with the best possible experience. I understand you were frustrated when the door did not unlock, and we were able to assist you with how to use the lock. The toilet seat functioned correctly at inspection as well as the lights. I wish we had been notified of this during your stay; we would have been happy to walk you through using the amenities. Thank you for taking care of the cushion, they were left in excellent condition and certainly were not destroyed. The ice maker was not pushed back in place correctly and is working now. The crack in the tv screen was an oversight and the tv has been replaced. We did not interrupt your stay because as you mentioned, you did not need them. I want to assure our future guests that we take all feedback seriously and are committed to providing our guests with the best possible experience. Contact us before booking if you have concerns and we can provide photos of things working.
