The Restaurant is closed for the off season. The gym and Game room are currently being remodeled, expected to be ready by Mid-May.

Join us as we "Seas the Moment"! Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach cottage offers spacious, welcoming accommodations with ocean sunrises and bay sunsets. The cottage is situated on a pretty community lagoon with a fountain. And...we are located just steps from the dune crossover! The house stylishly decorated with new renovations and it will welcome you to the beach the minute you walk in the door.

When you stay in our cottage you will enjoy access to a maintained and manicured beach and the private Beach Club.* (see below, cost of $25 per band for persons over the age of 4). The club boasts an heated lazy river, infinity pool, kids pool and 2 hot tubs as well as a fitness center, gift shop, seasonal restaurant and bar. The Beach Club also provides fun events for kids and grown-ups alike. Check out what they're up to at www.pointewestbeachclub.com for specific activity schedules. On the bay side, you can enjoy the heated lazy river and another hot tub.

You won't have to pack much more than a swimsuit and some sunscreen! Our house is decked out with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room with full size washer/dryer and linens. The house has cable, Wi-Fi and Netflix with smart tv’s in every room. We have provided DVDs, books, and games for indoor times, and beach toys, chairs and umbrellas for outdoor times. We even have a wheeled cooler and a wagon for you to take to the beach with you. We also have a gas grill on the property.

Our house is designed to be a relaxing spot for you to unwind and relax. It's the perfect location for a low-key vacation and is excellent for families. Vehicles aren't permitted on this part of the beach, so you don't have to worry about the kiddos. This end of the island is uncrowded and peaceful. While you're here, you can fish from the beach (with a license), fly a kite, watch the birds, search for sea shells, or just lay on the beach and catch some rays.

If you'd like a little action, the City of Galveston is just 20 minutes away. You can play a round of miniature golf, watch a movie, visit Pleasure Pier, tour the Moody Gardens Pyramids, or swim around at Schlitterbahn Water Park. If shopping is more your speed, be sure to check out The Strand. You can find anything you desire! And the best thing...you can return to your peaceful cottage at Pointe West when you're done!

Boat launch is available across the bridge at the San Luis Pass County Park (14001 CR 257 (Blue Water Highway) Freeport, TX 77541). Use is free and it is available 24/7. This is only 10 minutes from the beach house. Toll applies ($2, one way) to cross bridge.

No prom groups or parties, please. The contract signer must be at least 25 and must be present during the stay. All holidays are rented at high season rates.

Cancellation and Hurricane Policy:

There is a 30 Day Cancellation Policy for Daily and Weekly Bookings. There is a 90 Day Cancellation Policy for Monthly Rentals.

If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:

The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a 'Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area' and/or

A 'mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning' area of residence of a vacationing guest.

The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a 'Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning,' area, we will refund:

-Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;

-Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and

-Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the 'Hurricane Warning' period.
