Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. Located in the forest, with a five minute walk to beautiful sandy beaches on the north and south side of the island. Private, secluded property with covered outdoor patios both in the front and back (two bedrooms - sleeps 6)
Our family enjoyed our stay in this cozy, well-stocked cabin. We appreciated the covered outdoor decks on a couple of rainy days. Hosts were welcoming and attentive.
Great cabin, well kitted out with everything we could possibly need. Lovely location for the kids who could easily bike to the candy shop and the beach. Great host. We will stay again and again!
We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was just as we expected, and more than we hoped. Our hosts in the adjoining property, Richard and Shana, were more than gracious and we loved spending time with them and their family. Our quiet walks through the forest with our dog were magical. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!
We had been to Savary Island before and were able to view the cabin the year prior. We were grateful to have access to the entire property as we have a large dog and the covered patio was awesome for us one the kids went to bed.
There was tons of seating space and the kitchen was well stocked of pots and pans and extra utensils.
We were informed on what to bring so there were no surprises. I appreciated having the extra deep freeze to put our bread products in and there were two empty drawers left for us, so it was nice to be able to unpack and move right in.
Our host came by once we were settled to welcome us and we loved the location to Meadows Beach for morning walks and afternoon lounging.
We are looking forward to coming again!
My group (4 adults, 2 kids) had a really nice 4 day stay here. It was comfortable, and had everything we needed. The island beaches were amazingâŠall different and never crowded. Favorites were south beach and mermaid. Iâd probably get a renal scooter or two next time to cover more ground but a bike works fine too. Parts of the main road get really dusty when a car goes by so a mask comes in handy. There are supplies for cooking at the house and on the island but just plan on bringing most of it (we stopped in powell river). We liked the mermaid cafe (fairly close) but itâs pretty limited. If youâre there more than a couple of days, mabe a day trip to break up the beach days.
The host family is from Vancouver, but have spent the better part of summers on Savary the last 15 years. We have a cabin close to the one for rent, and can provide advice, hints and tips about the island.
Beatiful, secluded and peacful in a forested area. A small meadow in front allows for light and the warm sun to hit the rooftop solar panls as well as some sun bathing if you are not visiting any of the beaches in the area.
- Savary is called Hawaii of the North due to its :long, white beaches with the warmest water in Canada - Completely off grid - solar, deep well and septic.
