Fantastic property for multiple families to use together. Lots of different living areas so everyone can have space of do different things. Table tennis downstairs is great. The seperate guest house is fabulous and a brilliant space too. The fire pit was gorgeous and cozy at night. Around it’s a great property that we would happily visit again.

Ideal venue for a family get together for a special occasion. Table tennis table was a hit with all. It was too cold for the pool but it looked great. Enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the walking paths.

Amazing place

I stayed here with my family, and we enjoyed our stay. The house was great, and the location is amazing. The only thing I could pick on is that, when we arrived and inspected the house, I just thought it wasn't clean enough. The floors were very dusty and needed vacuuming and couch covers needed a wash, besides this, everything was excellent.

Simply amazing

We recently spent a nice weekend enjoying the Mornington Peninsula. Our stay at Rye Baby was very relaxing. The home was spacious with lots of natural light. There were activities to keep our large group entertained and the amenities were much appreciated by all. The home was nicely decorated with plenty of space for everyone. Location wise it is walking distance to the beach and a few mins drive to the Sorrento strip. We will definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived all we could say is WOW. The house is stunning! Beautiful modern bathrooms, multiple living zones, pool and a huge balcony with outdoor dining table and comfy couches to enjoy your morning cup of tea. Exceptional!

We were on the lookout for a coastal location to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday with her extended family, and after looking at well over 100 properties online, we settled on Rye Baby. And boy oh boy, did we ever make the right choice! Plenty of space for everyone, multiple living zones, excellent kitchen, great outdoor seating on verandahs, and close to shops in both Rye and Blairgowrie. The photos here do not do this property justice - it is perfect! Cannot recommend this property highly enough to anyone who may be looking for a similar family getaway - it is brilliant!

Nice place but not as advertised

Nice big place well located. It’s in real need of some maintenance. The pool gate lock was broken putting our little kids in danger. The pool heater pump was broken so it was like ice and do unusable. The wooden decking was rotted red through and dangerous. The bbq caught fire because there was so much grease / fat left over from the previous use. The wifi wasn’t working but someone came to fix that. We made the most of it, we didn’t want a bunch of workmen coming over everyday fixing stuff. By the end of our stay we felt there were too many issues impacting our enjoyment & experience so we asked for some token discount - we sent this list of issues to the owner at checkout and was told “I cannot offer you a partial refund as we never had any opportunity to rectify the issues for you as we were not made aware of any issues…”. So beware of this, if you do stay here”

Hi Jerry, We appreciate any feedback received from guests, however, it's disappointing to see that you have left us a negative review on the issues that you raised we dealt with immediately. We strive to address any issues promptly (if they are raised) and provide a seamless experience for our guests. The pool company have not advised us of a broken heater pump which we will follow up on this. It's important to note that our pool is solar-heated, which means its warmth is dependent on sunlight availability.
