Both bedrooms also have portable heating and cooling. The open plan lounge room, kitchen and dining room areas, has a split system air conditioner that both cools and heats the apartment.
Work & Family ready, including cot, high chair & baby bath. Walking distance to Southern Cross Station. Easy access to Melbourne's inner city. Your stay also comes with Free parking, complimentary bottle of Wine and chocolates, Free WiFi, Netflix and a starter kit providing kitchen, laundry and bathroom amenities.

The Space:
Bedding Configuration:
The master bedroom 1 (Golden Room) with ensuite, has a king size zip bed that can be easily converted into 2 single beds if required. Mattress can be soft or firm in this room.
Bedroom 2 (Orange Room) has a queen bed and there is space for the crib in here if you prefer.
There is a 3 Seater sofa in the lounge room, which converts into a double bed. There is also a double foam fold out topper mattress (found in the wardrobe of bedroom 1) to go on the sofa bed for your extra comfort.
A portable fold out baby cot, cot linen, highchair and baby bath are available and stored in the bedroom wardrobe.

Our apartment is in a residential building. The apartment size is approximately 121 metres squared. Approximately 11m x 11m.
Your stay in this modern, contemporary apartment will allow you to enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer. Located in the building's south west corner, this apartment offers CBD inner City views to the south and the West including the Melbourne Star Wheel in the Docklands. Both bedrooms have top of the range soft plush pillow top mattresses sure to help even the lightest sleeper to have an excellent nights sleep. There are block out blinds throughout the apartment.

The Master bedroom has city views and a luxurious ensuite. There is both a washing machine and dryer in the laundry cupboard with clothes washing liquid provided. Your fully equipped kitchen comes complete with a microwave, conventional oven, cooktop, coffee machine and dishwasher with dish washing products provided. Your welcome starter gift pack includes: shampoo, conditioner, soap, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, chocolates and a bottle of wine. Once these have run out, guests will need to purchase their own products.

It's close to everything – shops, museums, restaurants, cafes – and inside the free tram zone. Southern Cross Station is across the road, which makes getting to and from the airport easy. Walking distance to Marvel Stadium, if you're in town for a game or an event. In the apartment, you will enjoy views from the living room and both bedrooms through the full-length windows. The resort-style extras, includes 2 x gyms, a BBQ area and 2 x indoor heated pools. Your stay also comes with a free undercover car space, Free Wi Fi, Free Netflix and a complimentary bottle of wine.

Guest Access:
Guests may access the apartment on check in day by collecting keys from our key handlers from 3pm onward. Note that the key handlers hours are open 24 hours 7 days. They will require photo ID before key handover. Guests will be given key collection details after booking and prior to check in.

The entire apartment is available to our guests private use. A designated undercover parking space is also provided. All our guests also have access to the building's indoor Heated Swimming Pool, Gym and BBQ recreation area.

The Neighborhood:
A short walk to Marvel Stadium for AFL and many other sporting and entertainment events. Very close to Southern Cross Station. Walking distance to the Docklands Precinct. Close to Crown Casino, the Aquarium and Southbank. For sports fans, a short train or tram ride will take you to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Rod Laver Arena, and AAMI Park.

As an integral part of Melbourne’s unique laneway shopping culture with boundaries along Lonsdale, Little Bourke and Spencer Streets, this ground-floor retail precinct stands in the new and emerging ‘New York inspired’ heart of the CBD.
Sitting directly underneath four Upper West Side residential towers, home to 2,207 apartments, and opposite Southern Cross Station and the Spencer Street Outlets, this high-traffic thoroughfare benefits from existing retail, business, entertainment and residential precincts in its surrounds.
The site itself is rich in history, being Melbourne’s first power station built in the late 1880s. With its soaring high ceilings and possibly high trusses, the building was once known as the ‘coal economiser’, used to recycle coal materials for the power station.
At its peak, the station provided electricity for over half the city grid and generated enough hydraulic power to fuel all of Melbourne’s first lifts.

To book a BBQ on the green rooftop please contact your host to make the booking for you. Please allow plenty of notice to avoid disappointment.

All bookings of 21 nights must have a mid-stay cleaning service. You will have the option of a Refresh & Restock at $200 or Thorough Clean/refresh/restock for $280.
Cleaning services for longer term bookings will be negotiated to allow for our team to periodically clean, maintain and inspect the property

Great place to stay
Overall, the apartment was clean and had a good range of kitchen utensils etc. The beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Communication with the hosts was timely and clear and check in went very smoothly. The only comment we would offer is that the couch wasn’t comfortable and I definitely wouldn’t want to sleep on it. Location was terrific and lots of great eating options within easy walking distance. We were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful well positioned apartment for family stay
We had a great city stay in this beautiful apartment. Travelling with a 1 and 3 year old and the apartment was perfect with a cot, high chair, some toys and 2 great bedrooms and main living area. The location was perfect with a short walk to shops, chemist, southern cross station and food outlets. Only a short walk to the aquarium too! The check in and out process was smooth and easy. Highly recommend this wonderful apartment
