Fisherman's Rest House 30 meter distant to beach, sleeps 5

I thought your family/ancestors grew up on the island and you know a little bit about the 100-150 year old houses and people living here. I found it offending or at least disrespectful how you talked about the "run down house" of the very well known nice and helpful neighbours. I also wrote you earlier that our contractor on the island is delayed like every company in our days in Nova Scotia. But this missing final finish is represented in the rental price of the house. You rented for 1 person but stayed with 5 wich we updated and finally $175 per night plus tax divided by 5 who joined your family reunion is way lower than a youth hostel. It is disappointing what you write about bugs. We cleaned the house a day before and it was in mint condition, but you know about the heavy rain and fog and humidity that brings a few bugs in. You 2 star guests are killing the AirBnB idea with unreal expectations instead of appreciating what you got. Why didn't you rent a newer 350-400 dollar accommodation hiding in the woods, no neighbours, coming with the standards you may be used to in your big cities instead of judging and pointing at people here living in "run down houses".
