Fantastic House

We had 8 adults and 7 children in this house and we had a blast! Everyone fit comfortably with space to spare. The beach was an easy and short walk and the pool was amazing!

Wonderful House

The house was very clean and the interior had recently been painted. Every bedroom has an attached private bathroom which is wonderful for a large group. We had plenty of room and would definitely rent this house again.

Great Location

No need to leave the island because this place is surrounded by everything you would want to do on a vacation. It is ideal for a large group or family. It is a short walk to the beach and surrounded by excellent restaurants and shopping. You will run out of time before you run out of things to do.

Lovely home! Lots of space and great for large family. Bathroom in each bedroom, THE BEST!

A few hiccups when we first arrived and the Hilton Head vacation home management group was very quick , attentive, and made sure every thing was absolutely right to assure we had a Wonderful week! And we did! The best week ever!

This is our first full day, but so far everything has been great! The bedrooms are spacious, great bed options with 3 king beds, 2 queens, and a kid room with 2 daybeds/trundles. Almost all of the bedrooms also have an oversized chair with twin sleeper. The living/dining room is huge, not sure which is better the large living area or every bedroom having its own bathroom! Perfect for large families with pets. We definitely plan to come back!

Family vacation

The house is in a great location. Only complaint was the pool area. The deck was very slippery and had steps that were hard to see since there was no contrast. It pooled water and never dried the entire week. Also, the pool service was not very good. Aside from that, all good and Vacation Homes of HH were terrific.

Home is very nice. Minor maintenance opportunities. Supply of cooking items needs restock - not majOr issue. Stove top not performing well. Two refrigerators great. Maintenance and housekeeping very responsive. Downstairs layout outstanding. Community access very congested during July 4th (not surprising).

Great little enclave close to beach and park

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: great location. PArk access right across the street. One block walk to the dunes to get to the beach. Home was in nice shape. All bedrooms have their own bathroom and two main-level primary bedroom suites. Big plus! The only negative was the back deck and the pool surrounded by the back decks and pools of adjoining homes so privacy while swimming or being outside is limited. The management company was very responsive during the stay. Would stay there again

I didn't enjoy it

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the location was great, upon the arrival for check in at 4, I arrived to a completely dirty house. No one had come to clean it and there were bugs. The pool was also not clean and full of leaves. After contacting the rental company, someone came to clean it. However, this delayed check in for my family and was a huge inconvenience. We still continued to find roaches throughout the house after they left. We arrived on a Thursday and the pool remained uncleaned until Saturday accretion. Even after speaking with someone about it needing to be cleaned on Thursday.

Great property in a terrific location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great experience. Highly recommend this property. Company was very responsive. The house was just as described and the pictures are accurate (with minor furnishing was extremely comfortable and spacious inside and out. The big deck is terrific - quiet, sunny, private, with a great covered area to grill and eat. Pool is not heated. Important to know you must bring every bit of food, even salt and pepper, though kitchen is extremely well-equipped in every other way. The location couldn't be better - three minute walk to the beach, literally around the corner, and one minute walk to Chaplin Park across a quiet side street. We enjoyed the bike rentals, proximity to tennis courts and beach and walking paths. Nothing we drove to was more than 15-20 minutes away. During Covid time we didn't go indoors anywhere so appreciated all the parks and preserves on the island. Curbside groceries are readily available. Every restaurant we called does take-out. Short bike ride to occasionally-open Barnacle Bill's fresh fish/seafood vendor on main road. Get there when it opens. If you stay here, wake up at least once in time to see the sunrise from the water's edge. It's spectacular!

find another house with a different management company

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the house last year. When covid hit they did not want to give us back our deposit. They only agreed to change the time period when I found the house owner on the internet. Other rental management companies were giving refunds. Next, they changed the date of our rental for the same period this year and upped the charge by over 20%.Also, the Explore benefits they market is a rip-off. I tried to rent a free bike but they wanted to charge me $25 to deliver the bike. I told them I would pick up the bike but they said it was not allowed. So get this...the free bike costs $25. I found other bike rental companies that would allow a pick up and the price was only $15 a day. Lastly, the pool overlooks an area that will have a new home construction for many months going forward. If you want all of that just off the pool, feel free to rent the house. Go with other rental managers that are more reputable. Beach properties, Island getaways and Marriot do not operate like this.

4 Sandy beach

Accommodations were great and welcome gifts were so nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. Pool was too small. We cook in most nights. Unable to read “low, medium, high” placement on stove dials. It was very frustrating. Overall very good.

Great Location, but several disappointing elements to the stay

Overall the home was a good fit for our family, but there were issues with communication, follow up on notifications of maintenance concerns, contractor based disruptions to our quiet enjoyment of the home, and the poor condition of a key kitchen appliance. A little extra work in the areas of live-response customer service and attention to the condition of the home and appliances would have a dramatic impact on the quality of stay in a property of this type. Perfection isn't always possible, but it would have been nice to see more of an effort put towards the quality of experience when renting a home of this caliber.

Fun in the Sun

What a wonderful house! And so close to the beach! Beautiful rooms and plenty of space to explore and relax. Our young children (6 and 8) loved the pool, and didn't want to get out for meals or bedtime. The new deck furniture was a great addition to this lovely house. The kitchen is a well furnished and airy space to create meals, and the new table has expanded seating for family and extras. We will definitely be back for more fun in the sun.

Great Location

Great Location. We had a problem with the front door. Supposedly there was a new door on order. We received a side door key to lock up when we left the house. A few of the utensil's in the kitchen were rusty. Most of the pots and pans were teflon and scratched. There was a broom barely. The head of the broom was warped,did not sweep well. Furnished linens were great. The knobs on the stove did not have high low etc.

A Great Week

The kitchen was well equipped to cook for a large group and having 2 refrigerators was very helpful. An added bonus was the activities in the basement,ping pong,Connect 4, etc. The pool area was a nice place to hang out even though for the size of the house , the pool is small. The short walk to the beach and location to shopping is very convenient. We would definitely rent this property again.

Great house and stay!

This was a fantastic house for three families to stay in with young kids. The pool isn’t huge but was perfect for our kids ages (ranging 4-9) and the heat worked great. Distance from beach is fantastic.

The bedrooms are comfortable and lots of dining space which is what we always look for. The location close to the beach and a park are great. The furnishings in the den could use an update and the tile floor on the main level made the kids' bare feet pretty dirty immediately unfortunately.

Pro’s and Con’s

Pro- location- very close walk to the beach. Nothing is really right on the beach, so this is a close second. Very roomy - the bedrooms are nice sized and kitchen is fairly big. Cons -overpriced for the quality of the house - needs a lot of updating and just plain TLC. The floors all need work from wood to carpet. There are holes in the walls places and it is need of some paint. We had a large group so we also rented a house across the street and it was 100x nicer for the same price.
