Beach Blessing offers everything your family will ever want or need for your next Outer Banks get-away!

Located in the quiet community of Southern Shores, this home is close to the beach, and is conveniently located near grocery stores and the renowned boutiques of Duck. Plentiful decking provides an opportunity to appreciate all that nature has to offer on the Outer Banks.

Beach Blessing is a place to slow down and enjoy the little things that make a family vacation special. Chase endless summer days at this spectacular beach house. Enjoy a quick walk to the beach access, where you can search for sea glass, splash in the Atlantic, or try your skills at surfing or paddle boarding. Beach Blessing is only 225 yards to the beach access via a path with a designated pedestrian crosswalk across Route 12.

Everything you could ever need for making a lifetime of family memories is here. YOU are the only thing missing!

Community Amenities: The Hillcrest Drive beach parking area has 2 showers, toilets, a gazebo, benches, a viewing platform and a volleyball court. Beach and viewing platform are wheelchair accessible.

3 marinas: North Marina, South Marina & Loblolly Marina. There is a boat launch ramp at the North Marina off South Dogwood Trail, as well as a pavilion for parties and events.

Soundview Park on North Dogwood Trail includes a playground, picnic tables, charcoal grill, bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, park benches, a kayak launching platform and a relaxing sandy beach.

Sunset Platform on North Dogwood Trail includes a seating area overlooking a sandy beach, a great spot for sunset viewings!

Sea Oats Park (corner of Sea Oats and Hickory Trails) provides a basketball half court with one hoop, children's play area, soccer field and picnic tables.

A secluded parking area approximately 500' from the beach, specifically for Chicahauk owners and guests.

Outside: Hot Tub on Ground Level, Foosball Table, Outdoor Shower.

Mid Level: Great Room w/Flat Screen TV, Access to Covered Deck, Kitchen w/4 Bar Stools, Access to Sun Deck w/Gas Grill, Dining Area w/Large Farm-Style Table, Master Bedroom w/King, Bedroom w/Queen, Bedroom w/Queen, Full Hall Bath.

We loved this house and the neighborhood. Close enough to walk to the beach, but also helpful that there were parking passes available for beach access. We would stay here again.

Beautiful House

Loved every moment of our stay. We plan on returning next year. Big, clean house. Relaxing hot tub. Walking distance to the beach. What could be better?

Great place for our annual family beach trip

Wonderful beach home

Having 14 people to feed for a week made great use of both refrigerators. It was a short walk to the ocean. A short drive to both Duck shops and the grocery store. We would definitely stay here again.

What a blessing

There were so many things to do such as ping pong, hot tub, horse shoes, corn hole and a jacuzzi. We spent early in the morning on the decks with coffee and reading until everyone was up. It was a quick walk to the beach. We also liked the trails for the ones of us loving to go walking. Great place!

Highly recommended

Close to beach, but if you park at beach access make sure you are at the right location - $50 parking ticket. Parking passes are on side of fridge. Love the trees surrounding property. Gives privacy and shade and cuts down on amount of wind. Everything looks new inside, only has a few minor things I would mention.... Bottom door on shoe/coat rack at entrance is broken and some bedroom door knobs are loose. You guys made it extremely hard for me to complain about anything!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself is beautiful! We loved the location and the amenities. There were a few things broken, and the cleanliness was not wonderful. Our rental was actually ready early, and we would have preferred to wait until six if it meant a better cleaning by housekeeping. It was also strange to check in and out without speaking to anyone. It worked, but was new to us. Overall, the property was great, cleaning needed to be improved, and some amenities either need cleaning or to be properly fixed. We would stay here again.

Truly a Beach Blessing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying at Beach Blessing and it was truly that, a blessing! We rented this house so we could be close to our family renting a house 7 minutes up the road. This house was a perfection location as it was a short walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants in Southern Shores. We were able to bring our dog which was also a plus for us. The home was not only pet friendly but people friendly as it had everything we needed for our stay. The rooms were large as well as all the common areas. The beds were SUPER comfortable and every one in our group was raving about the restful sleep we got. After the first night we had already decided to book again for the following year!

Beach Blessing Indeed!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great layout in this house. Plenty of seating, which you don't always find. Kitchen is very well stocked with necessities. Loved the coastal/modern farmhouse decor. Wish the cleaning crew would have paid a little more attention to the dog hair on couch/pillows and the baseboards. Also, when we rented (early Aug), the horseshoe pit was overgrown as was most of the yard. The outside showers weren't working, but there were plenty of showers inside. The location is awesome - close to beach and being in Southern Shores, you don't have as much traffic as other shore points.

Clean and Quiet Location

The main downfall would have been that we weren't given a welcome bag with soap and other necessities on arrival. There were parts of the deck that should not be used barefoot...well, most of it. Everything was as described. The house was very clean. There were no signs of water damage or poor craftsmanship. Everything was in working order! The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walking to and from the quiet beach. There were rarely many people at the beach even though we were visiting over Father's Day. The beds were comfortable. The window coverings were adequate, but I wouldn't describe them as total blackout curtains. Our family members used the hot tub a few times. They said it was clean and relaxing. A few ticks were discovered by adults that hadn't been out in the brush, but just the driveway. In general, it wasn't extremely buggy. Keep in mind, there is a pond/drainage in the lot next door. The kids loved the foosball table, ping pong and the fire pit. The large couch in the main room was great for seating everyone. Would stay here again!
