The rental is private and accessible from a separate back entrance, and features a small living room area with extendable dining table (2-4 places), private bathroom, your own washer and dryer as well as a kitchen aisle with 2 hotplates, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.

Bedroom #1: Queen bed, has a window.
Bedroom #2: Single bed, does not have a window.

We are only 2 walkable blocks away from the King Edward Canada Line station. From there you can directly go to YVR Airport or downtown Vancouver. We are 1 block from Cambie Street. Visitors arriving at YVR can take the Canada Line to the rental quite easily and it is only a short train ride to continue downtown.

Our rental is perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy Vancouver or connect to UBC, Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), BC Women's and Children's Hospital, YVR Airport and many other locations. It is a good base to discover all Vancouver has to offer.

We are only a few steps from Cambie Village, where you can find coffee shops, a drugstore, supermarket, many restaurants, a great European bakery (Piast), and one of the best ice cream places in Vancouver (Rain or Shine).

We also offer an electric car charger as well as motorcycle parking. For quick motorcycle repairs we also have a ramp and workstand you are free to use, as well as a hose to clean your bike.

Free street parking between 6:00 PM and 9:00 AM or in 2-hour increments during the day. Please note, there is no private parking available.

Wonderful Stay

Brian and Sabine were wonderful hosts this past weekend! We appreciated all of the information they provided, especially in regards to the events going on around town. The property is located in a quiet little neighborhood near a train station and is perfect for those wanting to experience Vancouver. It was super clean and they kindly provided a few snacks and drinks for us. We had a great time and were very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great stay

We had an amazing stay with Brian and Sabine. They made the stay so special by stocking snacks and necessities so we didn’t have to worry about the little things we forgot. The location was perfect with lots of food and the train just a block away. They were quick to respond with any questions and the place was very clean. Would absolutely stay again

Clean and convenient and so easy

Brian and Sabine's place was perfect for us...very easy in and out, sparklingly clean and well designed, the rental worked well for us. We had no trouble parking in the neighborhood close by and though there are some neighborhood parking restrictions it wasn't a problem. We highly recommend their place for a couple to use for their Vancouver visit. We will be back as it is only a few blocks from our Canadian family's house.

Wonderful place to stay!

This lovely space was super clean, with all amenities you could possibly need! Close to the Skytrain and some lovely shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and will be staying here again for sure! Although I didn’t meet the hosts, they were very responsive and communicative. Great place to stay!

Wonderful place

My husband, son and I booked for a few days and had a wonderful stay. The apt is spacious, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We love the Cambie area and the close proximity to everything. The hosts were lovely and the little extras so thoughtful. We will for sure be back! Great place to stay.

Clean, Cozy and Close to Transit

We enjoyed our time in this comfortable suite located in a safe neighbourhood a five minute walk to transit which will take you to downtown Vancouver in less than ten minutes. The suite was clean and well appointed, we had everything we needed during our two week stay and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location for visiting Vancouver

My wife and me stayed for ten days in Vancouver. The location of our apartment in South Cambie was ideally located for that. Very close to the Cambie village with lots of restaurants and shopping possibilities, similar well situated for exploring further by car or public transport. The apartement itself was nicely furnished including high-quality beds and a full range of electrical appliances. The apartment itself is located in the basement of a single-family home with easy and private access. The landlord/landlady was very friendly and forthcoming.

Super Stay

This location is run by the nicest, friendliest, most considerate couple. They thought of every detail to make one's stay pleasant and comfortable! The apartment was exceptionally clean and well appointed, including slippers and a nice collection of local travel books. The towels were plentiful and smelled fresh; the bed made up beautifully and was extremely comfortable. There were snacks on the counter, and water and drinks in the refrigerator. The one caveat a traveler should be aware is that there is one step inside the apartment to step-up into the bathroom. But it was well marked and noticeable. We had the most enjoyable stay due to the accommodations that Brian and Sabine made for us, including parking conveniently to unload our suitcases. If I could give them 10 stars I would, since each extra star showed the ultra care that these hosts provided. We highly recommend this location!

A Wonderful Stay

Our hosts were wonderful; answered our questions right away and the little extras were appreciated. The suite is close to transit, pharmacy and restaurants. It was clean, had everything we needed (and more), easy check-in/check-out and located in safe neighbourhood. We will definitely book again, should we come back to the area.

Clean Comfortable Convenient

Sabine's downstairs unit was the perfect place for us to stay in Vancouver. The unit was super clean with little touches that made us feel immediately at home. The kitchen had snacks and coffee, and the bathroom had essentials in case we had forgotten anything. The amenities made the unit feel like home: a washer/dryer, extra towels, frig, dishwasher, kitchen stocked with food. The Wifi was strong, which allowed us to do some remote work before exploring Vancouver. The unit is centrally located in a safe neighborhood. Thank you, Sabine, for making us feel so welcome! We look forward to staying with you again.

This comfortable garden basement suite is perfect for someone who doesn't want to rent a car when they visit Vancouver. Close to transit, a good point to end or start a trip, to or from Vancouver International Airport.
