Plenty of room, very clean, great spar pool, plenty of crockery, glasses, last but not least a comfortable bed, highly recommended.

Amazing views

The house had amazing views and was so tranquil. It allowed us to have a relaxing break from normal life. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again.

The house and spa were clean and the photos were accurate. It's close to the luge which was handy. The beds were comfy.

Felt like staying at a friends place, very comfortable. Had all we needed. The views are wonderful and yet you're not too far from the city and attractions.

Nice cozy place away from the crowds

Awesome place overlooking the rest of the town away from all the noise and crowds. Being able to come back after a long day exploring to take a soak in the hot tub was awesome as well!

This view!

The pictures just don’t do this view justice! It was incredible and we loved watching the sunrise over Rotorua with our coffee and watching the sunset while eating our dinner! Sitting in the hot tub you also have a view of the city! It was wonderful!

Getaway

Went down to Rotorua to see family, stayed at Eagles nest for 2 nights, very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. A suggestion to Cam would be to make a couple of fans available for guests as it was extremely hot and although the house is well set up for the cold weather it needs something for the sweltering hot days/nights. The house has a lovely view and was very peaceful & quiet :)

Our stay here was great. The house is lovely, the yard has fruit, a cow and 2 sheep which I adored! The hot tub has a view you can't beat and Cam was so easy to work with. 10/10 would stay again!

Tranquil Stay

Absolutely warm and inviting. Cam (the host) met with us, gave us a tour of the home and even had the fire burning to make the home warm for when we arrived. Absolutely beautiful view night and day with a very homely and welcoming feeling. Spa pool was an absolute bonus as we were staying in rotorua for a sports tournament. A great location with view of the lake, alot of native birds and a couple of bulls who moo'ed at you when you called out to them. A definite 10 out of 10 for us and we will definitely be back. Thankyou Cam for an amazing experience!

That view

Just to get it out of the way up front, the place is a bit tired / dated. But that view is every bit as wonderful as it looks in the pictures. With two bedrooms, a comfy living space and a huge elevated back deck is a great place to set your base camp for the Rotorua area. Despite the hillside location, it's a quick and easy drive down to restaurants and attractions. The hot tub is the icing on the cake!
