Welcome to Dawn Patrol in Kitty Hawk!

Just steps away from the ocean you will find this lovely home in Kitty Hawk. Dawn Patrol invites you to start each day right by watching the sunrise from the deck while sipping your coffee.

Enjoy one-level vacationing! Dawn Patrol has one King En Suite, two Queen bedrooms, one bedroom with two single beds, and a shared bathroom down the hall. With a fully equipped kitchen, you have everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. The relaxing living room is designed for your family game or movie night, and the ocean views from this room will have you mesmerized. This home also has a screened-in deck where you can read a good book while listening to the waves break in the background. After a day well spent at the beach, rinse off the salt and sand in the refreshing outdoor shower. Dawn Patrol is pet-friendly with a fenced-in backyard, so bring your furry friend along!

The location of Dawn Patrol cannot be beat. Not only is the beach right across the road, but the famous John's Drive-In is within walking distance! The Seascape Golf Course is only five minutes away and close by you will also find tons of other amazing restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, grocery stores - what more could you ask for?

Beautiful and stunning views. Really nice back yard with thick grass. Fence was nice however it is not fully fenced under the back of the house. Interior of the house was dated and the carpet was dirty and needed replacing. The bathrooms were not ventilated and the showers did not drain properly. If your looking for location and views only, this is the place for you.

Transformative

Fantastically located yet very private. Great for more than one person as the house has great options for "solo" space in multiple areas. Very accommodating and accessible management who really contributed to making our stay all the more peaceful.

loved it

second time at this property, we loved it and felt at home. so close to the beach and other shops and restaurants of kitty hawk. beautiful views and sounds of the ocean, you can feel the beach air from the front deck or covered porch if it’s stormy. great yard! thank you to the owners for opening their lovely home to us and our fur babies.

Great location

We loved the location. The amount of room in the house was fine. The house needs some updating and repairs. The WIFI was not functional when we arrived because the password was incorrect.The lockbox is at the back of the house. We didn’t have this info!

June Beach Trip

Good location across the beach road from the ocean. Beach was good and never crowded. House furnishings and kitchen/baths are a bit outdated, charcoal bbq is not usable, outdoor shower is nice, yard is fenced but not fenced in (no gates so openings). Front deck is great for ocean views and sound of waves. Housekeeping left bags of dirty linens in the driveway all week. Driveway is small and requires backing in or out onto busy beach road.

It was ok

Location to the beach was good. Easy beach access if you can handle walking over the dunes. Needs a little upgrading but overall not horrible. Plenty of space for a family. Lots of seating both indoors and out. Fast and easy texting options to communicate with property manager. Finding the main entrance was a little confusing at first because there were several entry points . Just wish the check-in instructions gave a little bit more info on which door to use for initial entry door with the key pad.

*Directly across from beach access & ocean views. *This is an old house that has significant wear and tear Torn screens on porch, porch doors do not close completely Carpet torn & unraveling in places Door to game cabinet hanging off the hinges living room furniture Extremely worn & filthy. Needed to purchase sheets to cover the furniture to be able to sit on the couch and love seat. Mattress did not have mattress covers. TV’s in bedrooms were not operational. Smoke detector alarmed, called property management said they put in a work order. The property mgt staff was at the house delivering a grill came in took it off the ceiling said he would come back with a 9v battery but never returned. Ant infestation, property mgt sent an exterminator. This lessened the amount of ants but did not eliminate them. Grass back yard very nice There is no gate to enclose the fenced backyard. I purchased construction fencing to create a makeshift gate to keep our dog safe in the backyard. Not sure the back staircase is to code They are very steep. Driveway allows for 3 cars not 4 as listed in the description.

Great location and view.

House is good. View and location are excellent. If the weather had cooperated it would have been the best beach vacation. Being able to bring our dog along was great. There was some type of knocking noise in the king bedroom during the storm (remnants of Hurricane Ian). Only thing I could figure is the wind gusts (35-40mph) were lifting something in the attic. There was no noise after the storm passed. The king mattress is wavy. All things considered I would rent it again.

a beautiful stay

everything was perfect, the house was beautiful, the location amazing, the backyard perfect for dog friendly people. right across from the beach with an incredible view and ocean breeze. also right down the street from a few restaurants. neighbor was so friendly and welcoming as well. would rent this place 100x again.
