It is very difficult for the cleaners to clean all the leaves and the marks they produce off the balconies if there is rain in the period just before guests arrive, so I'm sorry about that but unfortunately there isn't really a good solution. A few times, I've pressure washed the balcony only to have wind and rain overnight and it's a mess again the next day.

For anyone reading this, there is now a brand new, split system aircon unit in the master bedroom. I'm sorry the old unit failed at exactly the wrong time, but once it did, it wasn't possible to fix it in a short time. The issue getting the old one fixed was I couldn't get anyone out to even look at it for approx 1 week. He was referred to me by the 2 electricians I knew, neither of whom could do the job. That's unfortunately how things are with a shortage of tradies in most country areas.

This is a blatantly dishonest review. There is nothing wrong with the dishwasher. She probably just didn't press the start button properly. But despite having my number and having spoken with me prior to arrival, she didn't bother to call me and ask for help. She just assumed it was the dishwasher and blamed it instead of herself. The furniture is the same. The people who sold us the house also sold us the furniture. The outdoor setting is a different colour because it has been oiled. The only difference is a new, velvet couch in the master bedroom, but that is an improvement, not a negative. We have the house professionally cleaned. She sent me a picture of dirt on the OUTSIDE of the bottom of one toilet bowl, which she must have gone to some effort to take, then complained the toilets weren't cleaned. The cleaners should have spotted it, but her comments are designed to imply the parts of the toilet people actually use were dirty. That is a lie. Artwork is different? We got some new pictures and moved them around. So what? "I contacted the host with my concerns". Despite having my number and having spoken prior to arrival, she waited until after she left to sent me 2 lengthy texts, full of complaints. Many of them were false. Some, like the art, were just ridiculous. The subtext was that she was clearly angling for some refund. Why would I bother to respond to someone like this, who obviously would not be satisfied with anything? Owners: avoid this guest.
