This review is about Guest comfortânone.Photoâs are deceiving. Toilet overflowing in the main room. Rooms were dirty. Little details were overlooked. Stayed 3 nights -we were ready to go home after 2. I could go on⊠I knew from the reviews that the condo needs updating. Yes, it does.
Gorgeous space with plenty of room. The view is STUNNING, 5 stars! I have to give it a 4 star rating though because of the mattress in the master bedroom, not the best quality. At these rates, I was expecting premium beds. Also would recommend a white noise machine for the master bedroom, fortunately we happened to pack a small one, and it helped. The hotel is right off of a VERY busy VERY loud interstate that never stops. I realize it is to be expected with a downtown location. If you're not a light sleeper and don't mind a hard, basic mattress you'll be fine. The location is great with plenty of shops, restaurants within a short walk. Overall the views and convenience of walking everywhere made up for most of the shortcomings of the traffic noise and low quality mattresses.
Just a short one night stay, but the view is tremendous. Walkable distance to tons of nice restaurants and cool bars, patios, etc. Check in and out was a breeze. Would stay again for the view alone.
Excellent Views, Close Proximity to Downtown Asheville
My daughters and I were on our first girls only (no husbands and children) getaway. Everything in our condo - from the excellent views and the cleaniless to the close proximity to downtown Asheville - made our inaugural girls trip a success. We would definitely do it again!
Pros: The penthouse condo boasted beautiful views of NCâs mountains. Location was great â easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Host was super responsive. Cons: Furnishings were a bit âbeat up,â and beds were not very comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Penthouse Style Atop Hotel Indigo! The views were incredible, the kitchen was well-appointed, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend in beautiful Asheville! We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit this lovely city!
The location and view are amazing and the parking was convenient. However for the money I didn't think it was worth it. The building is right next to a major highway and the road noise is constant and required everyone to sleep with ear plugs. The carpets were stained as was the furniture. Most wood furniture has numerous water rings from glasses or was very cheaply made. There was no coffee provided or coffee filters which we had to buy, the clothes iron was missing and the kitchen was not well stocked with utensils and the garbage drawer was broken. The secondary bathroom shower water faucet was not installed properly and we alerted the owner to water coming from the ceiling in the primary bathroom. I expected a lot more and will not stay here again.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Deceptive listing
Pros
Nice view
Nice kitchen/living room
Cons
The heavy freeway noise at all hours heard inside and outside
The conditions of the bedrooms-stains on headboard/hanging curtains
Stained carpets
Whiles in carpets
Peeling leather chair in bedroom
Cheap towels
Cheap pillows
Plastic linings on mattresses
Chipped paint on walls
I do appreciate Towns management for refunding my money so I could leave after I sent them email with pictures as evidence.
Communication and views in the main/living room are 10/10, but cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Letâs start with the views in the master, they couldnât be enjoyed bc the curtains were off their track and couldnât be moved. The other issue was the carpet. It was gross, stained, and it smelled bad. The master room smelled. And lastly, one of the chairs in the other room had âleatherâ peeling off, it made you uneasy to sit on it and in fact no one did. Also saw a stain on the box spring.
With new flooring and more thorough cleaning it would be 10/10.
We loved the unit, the location was perfect and the views were incredible. We feel the place needs some repair work and we had to ask the owner to come back and clean up as it had a very bad smell that lingered on throughout our stay. We would rent it out for the views.
A great spot with excellent views of the mountains thatâs close to everything in the city or the surrounding sites. Highly recommend a trip to Triple Falls and a stop at Sierra Nevada for lunch. The place is just as advertised and seems even bigger than the pics. Will go back!
As it says in the title...this condo has the best view! Loved looking at the mountain. The floor to ceiling windows are amazing. The condo is very nice. Kitchen is nice and new. The masterbath has a great tub in it. I would stay here again for sure!
Great location - walking distance to everything downtown. Great views. The room clean and quite though some of the furniture was worn. here were notices about construction in the building but it never bothered us. Parking was easy. Would stay again.
The view from the unit was wonderful. It does need some maintenance. The curtains in the bedroom fell down but the management company did come in and put them back up. The furniture has seen better days. The building is under remodeling which made the hallways and elevators very dirty. Parking was an issue due to all the construction materials stored in the parking area. I would recommend waiting on renting unit until remodeling is done. It is in a good location for walking downtown and traveling in the area.
You can't beat the location of this unit. Walk to shops and restaurants. Great view out of the floor to ceiling windows. Comfortable beds, lots of linens. Coffee and filters are provided which is nice. Property manager is very responsive. This unit is located in a hotel building and the hotel staff is very nice and helpful. The parking space for the unit is narrow and located next to a post. It also backs up to the elevator which has a shelter around it which makes getting in and out of the space difficult. If you drive a large car or SUV, you may nit be able to use the space. The building is located right next to the highway so there is a lot of road noise in the master bedroom and on the patio. We were really excited about the patio but the road noise made it unusable for us. The hotel is undergoing renovations which makes the elevators busy and the parking structure is used as a staging area.
This property was perfect for me and two of my girl friends to have a nice weekend getaway. Everything was very clean and nicely upgraded. The views were amazing! The location was perfect walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
My wife and I drove to Asheville for a quick getaway. This condo is in a good location within walking distances to restaurants and bars. Great views from the rooms and deck. Very clean and parking spot right by the elevators.
