Whether youâre hiking the parkway or exploring Asheville, this home is the perfect base for your mountain getaway.
The mountain views were absolutely stunning! The late afternoon sun splashed the sky with painterly hues, creating a breathtaking backdrop for our stay.Accessing the property was straightforward with a keypad, and the narrow road leading in, which is paved in some parts and dirt in the final stretch, added to the charm. There are no street lights, so it can get quite dark at night, contributing to the extremely quiet atmosphere. Be sure not to park under the nut tree next to the house to avoid any potential damage to your vehicle. Please note that the property pin on the map in the listing is incorrect; the property is not located in downtown Asheville. The property was as pictured, and we loved the grill and hot tub. A washer and dryer are available if needed, which is a nice convenience. The chalk wall in the dining area was a fun touch, and there were plenty of games and a chess set for enjoyable evenings. A cute neighborhood dog added a nice charm to our stay, making us feel more at home. Communication was mostly prompt, despite a glitch with the property portal, but it all worked out in the end.Overall, itâs a fantastic spot to book with its great views, charming features, and peaceful surroundings.
The house is lovely. We spent a lot of time on the screened porch and in the hot tub. The view was amazing. Great location. Close to Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Perfect property for our stay in Asheville.
Vrbo placed the wrong coordinates in the listing, but we spoke to Aiden and got the accurate address which was a few minutes away outside of Asheville downtown. Once we got there we were greeted with a beautiful cabin with tons of space lots of natural light and a large screened in porch with comfortable furniture,And a beautiful deck with seating a hot tub and access to a pool. We had wonderful views of the mountains and valleys below. The family room was comfortable and spacious with a large TV we got to watch while relaxing in the evenings. The bathrooms were spacious and had plenty of room for my many bath and beauty products of which my partner laughed that I overpacked. I loved the chalkboard where all the guests signed their names in the kitchen with lots of space for us to cook and store our food and enjoy the view from the dining table. We couldâve used the barbecue as well. The beds were so comfortable. I slept like a baby after a long day of exploring, hiking and enjoying everything in Asheville and the surrounding area. The drive up the mountain to get to the cabin was a little difficult for me at first but I got used to it quickly. I loved the peace and quiet, especially having coffee on the deck, enjoying the beautiful scenery. My dogs enjoyed the yard and the greenery and shade. Having a washer and dryer and two bathrooms made life so convenient. The upstairs balcony was my favorite space. I could stay up there for hours looking at the stars at night.
The place was clean and very nice. The only issue that I had was that the GPS map on VRBO had the address in the city where I needed to be, and it turned out to be outside of town. Not a big deal in the end and the place and host was great!
