Riviera - Panoramic Water Views In The Heart Of Nelson Bay

Riviera's peaceful location is only minutes walk from the heart of Nelson’s Bay vibrant town centre and popular marina. This impeccable, three bedroom, two bathroom, luxurious duplex accommodates up to six guests.

Riviera features an open plan, split level, lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen, with soaring ceilings, all looking out to expansive water views. The lounge and dining room flow out onto a vast, fully secure, gated entertaining deck, with retractable shade awning, where the breath-taking views can be enjoyed while cooking on the BBQ, eating and drinking at the alfresco dining table.

Bedroom one has a king bed and spacious ensuite. Bedroom two has a queen bed and bedroom three has a solid white timber tri-bunk (double with single above). The main bathroom features a shower over a corner spa bath, perfect for bathing little ones or soaking in yourself after a fun day of exploring the region. For winter bookings, you will enjoy the underfloor heating in both bathrooms.

Riviera features sophisticated, yet relaxed, coastal inspired furnishings and decor which instantly evoke serene beach holiday vibes the moment you walk through the door. Perfectly positioned in the heart of Nelson Bay, you can stroll along the waterfront into town to explore the boutique shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as the children’s beach front playground, or hop on a lunch, dolphin or whale watching cruise that depart from the marina. Pop into the waterfront fresh seafood markets and cook up a holiday feast on the BBQ as you watch sunsets over the glistening water and sip your beverage while planning your activities for your next day in paradise. The sun lounges on the deck are an added luxury!

Riviera has a single garage, laundry with washer and dryer, as well as air-con throughout.

PARKING- There is parking for 1 car in the garage, other cars need to be parked in the carpark at the end of Nash lane.

BOND – Refundable bond of $1000 that is due 14 days prior to your arrival.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No need to go abbreviations, just sit ac enjoy the view. But if you do want to venture out it's a short walk to restaurants cafes for some great meals. Unit is beautifully decorated, with comfortable bed and couches. Could do with some sun loungers on the balcony for dinner. All the facilities but bring your own hair dryer ladies.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Couldn't fit our ranger 4wd in garage but no where else to park. Too expensive for what the property was but nice views

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I trust this message finds you well. I wanted to share some feedback based on our stay at Riviera. While we appreciate your hospitality, there are a few areas that need attention:Rubbish Under Lounge and Beds:We found some overlooked rubbish food packets under the lounge, and a dirty sock under the king bed (as we looked for our daughter’s toy), which is quite revolting if you think about it. A quick inspection around the place would have picked these up right away. Slippery Tiles: The tiles around the property are extremely slippery when wet. A sign would be helpful to notify guests. Worn Appearance: We noticed signs of wear and tear, suggesting a need for updates. Stains on the carpet, bedding, upholstery and spider webs on the ceiling impact the overall appearance of the property. It wasn’t representative of the images we based our booking on. Bathroom Amenities: The dispensers in one shower didn’t have body wash, and both the soap and conditioner in the ensuite were less than half-filled. Fully stocked amenities should be standard. Considering the amount we are paying for our stay, we were expecting a bit more attention to detail and a more personal touch.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fabulous apartment with breathtaking views across Nelson Bay. The location really is second to none. The home is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Only downside was the gas tank (therefore hot water) running out. Advice from Stay Port Stephens staff was inaccurate and unhelpful - pretty much told to suck it up. Thankfully the usual property manager called us soon after and sorted it out immediately.

Beautiful unit and view

Very well appointed unit, large deck overlooking the bay and close to town. Beach access is not via stair at front of deck unfortunately so a walk around the back instead. Was very comfortable and enjoyed our brief stay.

My Husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in May and could have stayed longer. Very clean apartment and styled in a hamptons theme. Carpet is a bit tired, but i am fussy. Balcony is large enough for a family bbq, but we enjoyed just sitting out there with a drink and watching all the boats come and go and the dolphins swim on occassion. The gas fire pit looked amazing on the balcony however, not sure if it worked and had no instructions.Fantastic position overlooking Nelson Bay, a road behind the apartment is a short walk to the beach and main town, we grabbed a coffee from town each morning.A beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. Shoal Bay Country Club for best meals.

Reviewer Comments: Nice place to stay for the weekend, add was abit confusing with linen etc being included. Was a bit tricky to get to the parking and entrance as you can’t enter via Victoria Parade. The bed we slept in was quite hard and uncomfortable and there was a mug in the cupboard that hadn’t been washed. Great location though within walking distance to main harbor.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, all modern fittings, beautifully styled and very true to the photos. The view from the deck is amazing. We were easily able to walk to Nelson Bay Beach, the Marina and surrounds. Everyone was happy and comfortable, from kids to grandparents! We did some cooking on the BBQ - beware there are next to no pantry items so bring your own if you plan to cook. Communication & responsiveness from the property manager was timely and efficient.

The property is very nicely appointed, very clean and has a very new feel to it.The team at Stay Port Stephens were very helpful and friendly. Dealing with them was easy and they did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.I would definitely recommend Riviera if you are visiting Port Stephens.
