Doodling by the Sea offers the ideal retreat for your beach vacation in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach. Situated just steps away from the beach, this 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom house is designed for ultimate comfort and enjoyment. The spacious kitchen provides ample room for preparing your favorite meals, while the numerous seating areas throughout the house are perfect for dining and relaxation.

The pool area in the backyard adds an extra layer of enjoyment, complete with a grill for outdoor cooking and a new picnic table for leisurely meals by the pool. The house features five comfortable bedrooms, including two with king beds and three with queens. Each bedroom is equipped with a Flat Screen TV and DVD player, ensuring everyone has their own space in the evenings. The Jack & Jill bathrooms with shower-tub combos, along with another full bathroom off the living room with a stand-up shower, provide convenience for all guests.

With the beach just steps away, you can savor morning sunrises or unwind by the pool in the evenings while enjoying spectacular sunsets. The peaceful environment is perfect for leisurely walks along the ocean. The fenced-in pool area offers ample space for relaxation and fun, making it an ideal spot for families. The outside shower allows for easy cleanup before taking a dip in the pool.

Cherry Grove, located at the northern point of North Myrtle Beach, provides an expansive and pristine beach for you to enjoy. Set up your umbrella and spend the day relaxing on the sand. Nearby restaurants offer a variety of dining options, and numerous shops and attractions are just a short drive away.

Wonderful place to stay

Doodling by the Sea was the perfect place for us to reconnect with our adult children. There was plenty of room for everyone even during a hurricane! The beds were super comfy. The pool and patio area were perfect! We will definitely be booking again, and again, and again!!

Location!

great location- Cherry Grove is nice, quiet area of N Myrtle. 3 different beach access points directly across the street! Pool was a great addition, spent many afternoons enjoying it! (Only thing it needed was an umbrella or two for some shade) Kitchen was very well equipped, almost everything we needed. Three bedrooms downstairs, two upstairs where the main living area and kitchen are. Plenty of room for our kids and our grandkids (toddlers). Would stay again.

Great place but a few drawbacks

We really enjoyed the location of the house and the pool was great. The beds were very comfortable and the living areas were convenient. The negatives had to do with the bathrooms. Most of the bathrooms were jack and jills which can be uncomfortable at times. You may not know who is in the bathroom, especially at night. One bedroom had no bathroom attached and you had to either walk through a bedroom or walk upstairs. One of the bathrooms had no place to keep your toiletries and you had to keep your things in the bedroom. Other than the bathroom situation, it is a great house.

Need a refund

Never have I ever stayed at a beach house that had sand in the sheets. The floors were black/brown dirty - baby crawling on the floor was covered. I requested the cleaning crew to come back - two people showed up - one just told the other one to clean. They had a rag & spray bottle for the floors. No broom or mop. I purchased a broom myself & sponges. Pots & pans are used & not in good condition. Difficult to cook on. No brushes or cleaning kits for initial day. Overall I was disappointed. When I contacted the hostess, she said the sand was from the covers. Then you should wash the covers. Very unfortunate. I think she should have followed up with the crew & to see if I was satisfied. I have submitted a request for a partial refund.

We are so sorry that you had these issues and we addressed your concerns. The prior guest gave a 5 Star Review and said the property was very clean so we are not sure what changed. When the cleaners came, other guests at the house were surprised to see them since they were not aware of any issues. The Owners only rent in the summer and take very good care of their home and get it ready for summer every year. Sorry that you did not enjoy the property.
