We loved our stay this weekend! The cabin was ride down the road from the ski hill, and perfect setup for our family!! Beautifully decorated, rustic feel, clean and comfortable beds!! Fabulous communication!!

Bachelorette weekend

The cabin was absolutely amazing! We had 7 people staying there and it was perfect. The views from the back patio were stunning. Host was very easy to contact to ask any questions. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing was the driveway was a little hard to see when first driving in.

Most beautiful cabin in the woods

We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful cabin. It is the cleanest vrbo we have ever stayed in. Nestled back in the woods (yet so close to town) with an amazing view. The beds were very comfy and you had everything you could need. We cooked steaks on the grill and enjoyed the firepit at night. The home is beautifully decorated with great attention to e very detail. We will definitely be back!!

Everything as described. Mornings and late evenings we got to enjoy numerous deer from the living room window. Very well secluded yet it’s just a short 10 min drive into Galena.

This cabin was so beautiful from the interior to the view out back! So spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and they had everything you could need! 10/10 recommend. I hope to be back some day!

The cabin was just gorgeous and the view out the windows was perfect seeing the bluffs of Iowa on the other side of the river. We saw plenty of wildlife out the window as well. There were so many extra, thoughtful things around the house, beautiful beds with a tray and flowers, rustic wood beds with many assorted pillows, chocolates hidden under a welcome note, rocking chairs on the porch, a beautiful fire pit and a spectacular fireplace! The owner made us feel like we were staying in a warm and cozy home. This is the place you want to stay for sure.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is Beautiful and well kept The place is very peaceful with beautiful views We enjoy our stay almost 100% but……… The only thing that went wrong was when we attempted to use the gas grill we weren’t able to, it was beyond dirty, rusted and found mice inside the grill.

Cabin in the woods! Beautiful

This is a beautiful home, comfortable and plenty of space. Very clean and everything you need. Location is perfect, half way between downtown Galena and Chestnut Mountain. The patio and fire pit, great space for games and smores. The owners were very responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend this property. We'll be back!

Amazing

Property was amazing! You get what you see! My family enjoyed tons of laughs in a very comfortable cabin! The only downfall which had nothing to do with the property but with the location, there was only one port that took over 3 hours to charge my electric vehicle only to about 50% other than this my entire trip was so enjoyable!

Beautiful place

It was a beautiful cabin but the GPS address does not take you to the right place , so it was alittle hard to find with a hidden entrance. No shoes are allowed in the cabin so bring slippers. The showers are huge but not enough towels so bring some if you have more than 2 people staying . Otherwise it was peaceful clean and definitely would love to stay again .

The house is nice, the beds are comfortable, the seclusion and view are great. One star off for 2 reasons: 1. We found the rule of "no shoes in the house and if we find out you've worn shoes in the house you may be fined" to be pretty unwelcoming and extreme. 2. The cleanup rules and the housekeeping tip envelope left for us to use on top of the cleaning fee was a little tacky.

Galena Golf Getaway

This property was quite amazing for a group who golfed and then relaxed. The house is incredibly well built and kept. The property itself is secluded. Finding the actual house took a little work but nothing too hard. Everything was in good working order with exception of the ice maker and water dispenser from the fridge. No big deal. We look forward to considering the property next year again.

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin is even more beautiful in person. The views alone are gorgeous. Kitchen was well provided with utensils, pots, pans and silverware. Ample firewood was provided as well. The only thing we ran out of is toilet paper, so you may want to bring your own. Towels are provided, but not toiletries. They provided us with a cell phone in the case of emergency, which was very thoughtful as cell phone service is quite unpredictable in Galena. Thank you for a great stay. The beds were so comfortable, that we may need an upgrade at home!

Recharge your batteries! Modern Cabin! Bring your quarters as the games aren’t free.

If your looking for a modern, yet rustic cabin then this is it! This cabin is secluded, yet still close enough to shopping and the grocery. I was disappointed that the games require you to pay almost a dollar to use them. Would rather they just increase the fee and not charge to use the machines or take them out as kids can go thru some quarters when it’s almost a dollar a game. It’s a pain to run to the store and get more change. Had to run to two different stores and then to a bank as the stores don’t have change to exchange for dollars. If the owners would supply the change then the cabin would be a 10!
