Seabreeze Cottage, by the ocean in Brighton, Otago

Enjoy sea-views from the living-room or be walking on the sand in 1 minute. The deck at the rear is sunny and rural with a sheltered BBQ area. Fully renovated, in keeping with it's Art Deco architecture, the gas-fire warms the living-room. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are comfortable (king in master/twin singles in 2nd bedroom) and OSP for 4 cars. It's a 7 minute walk to the swimming beach, cafe and dairy. Take the 16kms to Taieri Mouth for coastal scenery, fishing, walks and picnics.

My group of four adults loved this vacation home. What stood out was the back deck for dining and BBQ grillling outside. All the furniture and the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was generously equipped.

This place was quaint, calm, and perfectly suited to what we were looking for. It got cooler one evening and we simply cozied up around the gas fireplace. The home had everything listed, including the barbecue, that we used, and ate outdoors on the patio. The host, Janet, communicated extremely well, and answered any inquiries we had. An excellent experience all around. Proximity to Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula made it perfect.

Amazing cottage and views

Cosy, tastefully decorated cottage Janet goes above expectation for her guests. The super comfy beds, the short walk to the beautiful beach, all just enhanced our stay.

Amazing stay

Well located, very clean and comfortable holiday home. A great situation with the ocean view out the front of the property and a fabulous rural view from the decking. Even though the weather was unsettled we had a great time exploring the area.Thank you Janet and Steven.

Jenny and friends were wonderful guests who stayed 9 days at Seabreeze Cottage. They were out and about taking in wgat the Dunedin area had to offer and left the little house very clean.

Brilliant stay!

The bach is absolutely fantastic...cozy, warm and in an amazing location. Beautiful view of the hills out the back, and of the beach out the front. The beach area is awesome for walks and exploring. Fantastic hosts too, everything was super easy and very pleasant. Thanks!

Stayed here over a wild weather labour day weekend. House is comfortable and cosy, the heaters work and other than the weather it was peaceful. Good base to explore the region.

A lovely reatreat by the beach - everything you need and with a view!

We really enjoyed our stay and it felt like a home away from home - clean, warm, spacious & comfortable and had everything we needed. It is light & bright with a sunny north facing decking & lovely views of the sea from the living room. Lots of close & easy access down to the beach - an absolute gem!!

Perfect break from a busy life

We booked based on location and we were more than delighted at the warm, comfortable wee house. We got our daily walks, enjoyed quiet opportunity to rest, do some craft and generally chill.

Cozy cottage

The location of this comfortable batch was ideal for us. Walks on the beach were just steps away. It was easy to get to city and the surrounding areas for fishing and sight seeing. We would happily book here again.
