It was a beautiful and quiet get-away. Wonderfully stocked kitchen with everything you need to bale or cook. The host really cares about the place and it shows. Will happily stay there again in the future!
Couldnât be better. Kitchen well appointed, spacious and clean home with everything you need in a great location. Would definitely return here! Home away from home, we loved it. The garden and outdoor areas were lovely.
A great place to stay in Dunedin. Close to the city centre, cinemas and restaurants. Yet, it is also close to parks.Easy on street parking. The sheltered, private garden is a delight, with two outdoor seating areas.Well stocked with everything you need for your stay. Comfy and cosy.Super clean, great shower and laundry facilities make this an ideal getaway.Sandra is a great host and the wine and chocolates were a lovely touch. We would definitely stay again.
City cottage was great. Such a sweet little house! It was spotlessly clean with beautiful linen and towels. A view of the city too. Warm and inviting. Our lovely host left us a welcome message and some treats to enjoy. Iâd definitely recommend and will book again if back in Dunedin.
One of the Best Homes Weâve Stayed at in the World
We absolutely loved landing at the City Cottage first thing after our trans-Pacific flight. The cottage grounds are AMAZING-even at the end of fall. The expertly restored cottage was cozy, warm and offered a spectacular view of the harbor & Pacific Ocean from the kitchen picture window. The bedrooms and bath were wonderful to boot. The kitchen is gorgeous and the living room is very comfortable. The location is perfect and minutes away from everything in Dunedin. Our host communicated promptly with us and left a warm welcome message. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at City Cottage! 5 stars accommodations.
Beautiful cottage with a great garden and lovely views. Slightly quirky, relaxing feel, very homely and a great place to relax. Sandra is a wonderful host. We enjoyed staying very much.
This was one of the most beautiful abodes I have stayed in years. The decor was stylish and comfortable, the furnishings and accessories elevated our entire experience, and the views and garden space were fantastic. The photos sint prepare us for how well situated and equipped Sandra's house was. Every moment of our stay was restful, convenienced by every thoughtful addition our host had defided to contribute. When we next return to Dunedin we will certainly be looking to rebook. Thank you for an amazing stay.
This is a very attractive and charming home. It has lovely outside areas to sit front and back, and inside the furnishings are luxurious and sophisticated. The location was very convenient to central Dunedin although walking back up the hills a bit of a challenge so we mainly took the car.
Stayed for 6 nights and it was fantastic. It was very comfortable for 2. Every room had attention to detail. The view from kitchen window was impressive and it was great to watch the city come alive every morning. There wasnât any private parking but we had no issues finding free street parking adjacent to property at any time of day.We would stay again and recommend to others.
Suffice to say we would stay here again if we return to Dunedin. Everything we needed was in the house. There were 2 outdoor sitting areas - perfect for a late afternoon wine. Don't hesitate!
Lovely property in a quiet atea of town handy to shops and the central city. Loved the choice of outdoor areas and the city lights. The welcome we recieved set the tone for our stay and we would definitely recommend this property! As a keen gardner, the beautiful setting was a bonus!
The property was immaculately presented , super organised has everything you would need and more owner left a welcome note and a bottle of wine , we cant wait for our next visit
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were impressed with some of the little details that were provided, from cosy blankets to umbrellas and proper coffee machine. Can highly recommend and would stay again. thank you
Im a mother of four and grandmother of eight, with my family all being in different parts of nz i like to spread my time between them, hence i have decided to open up my home again to travellers coming through to Dunedin to be able enjoy the house as much as i do.
