Very enjoyable stay, clean and comfortable. Fully functional kitchen. Appreciated amenities such as boogie board, beach chairs and cooler, beach towels. The pool was lovely. Short walk to beach access.Great communication, via email and also a handy binder in the room itself with all kind of interesting and helpful information. Highly recommended. Planning to go back again!

This cute condo has a lot going for it: -Comfortable bed-Good water pressure in the shower-Updated kitchen that has all the basics covered. -Clean and well taken care of-Close enough to walk to town (parking is an issue there)-Had beach chairs and towels available to use-Had the option to use air conditioning or open windows that were designed to have a nice cross breeze-Unit is conveniently located by a nice pool and BBQ area. The pool wasn't crowded and it was a nice spot to relax and be refreshed-Customer service was responsive, friendly and helpful when I called the numberWhat might earn this property 5 stars instead of a 4:-We wished the deck was functional. It's only about 1 ft wide and it's not allowed to even dry towels on the railing.-It would be helpful to have a night light in the bathroom-It's very easy to hear neighbors (one nearby couple fought in the middle of the night more than once). Obviously, this does not reflect the property itself, but it is a reality of this condo complex.-We didn't receive the email with the details of the property. When I messaged them through VRBO, I got an AI response that gave me directions to the property, but not the unit #, parking # or code to enter. I was able to get what I needed by calling, and they explained they have a new system so they're working out the kinks. I was impressed with the good customer service that helped me resolve the issue via phone.

The condo was in a great location just minutes away from restaurants, shopping, and beaches. It was clean, well kept and well stocked. The fans and AC helped keep the condo nice and cool.
The grounds were nicely landscaped and well maintained with tall shade trees.
We would definitely stay here again.

An excellent location!
My husband and I stayed here for 11 days. It was an easy walk along Ali’i road to get to the shoreline, restaurants, a great farmer’s market and shopping.
We arrived in the dark and had difficulty finding the driveway entrance as the signs were not lit and partially obscured by the shrubbery. Luckily, when we actually parked on the wrong side of the complex, we ran into the manager and he explained where the driveway off of Kuakini Hiway was.
The only thing missing was a proper Lanai that we could sit on to drink our morning coffee. The kitchen was well equipped ( just needs a small set of tongs, vegetable peeler and a smaller salad bowl) with a drip coffee pot (the Black Sand coffee at Coffee Heaven is smooth and delicious!), toaster, pots, pans and utensils and other appliances.
We would recommend this place to others.

The condo was clean and well stocked. It was in a great location and the area info book was especially helpful and detailed. We enjoyed the extra towels and the washer and dryer. The only thing that was confusing was the white lock box at the top right side of the door. We arrived at night and that was the only thing we saw. After trying the code 6 times we started panicking, We texted the property owner and then finally saw the very dark pad above the door knob for the key code. I think the owner should remove the key lock box to avoid confusion and panic. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The unit was well appointed as described and as seen in the pictures. It’s location is actually very central to Kona, just an easy walk to Alii Drive and the beach. Parking was convenient and our host was friendly and responsive. So why the 3 stars…
The issue is that every morning at about 4:30 to 5:30am there is someone yelling at each other either in the building or off the street. There is a homeless camp just in the bushes next door. Additionally, the walls are paper thin. You can literally hear the neighbors walking above you…. If you are a heavy sleeper, you might not notice. Otherwise, beware.

- We're sorry that some external noise made your visit less relaxing. We have not had any similar concerns reported since your stay, so it seems that was a temporary issue.
- There is a homeless camp a quarter mile down the road. The police are aware of it, and while there is nothing we can do, it should down impact the guest experience.
- Guests are always encouraged to reach out with any concerns, and we will do all we can to address those right away!

Below average for the price
Although there were two complimentary bottles of wine and the king bed was comfortable, the condo was not as nice as the photos indicate. There was a fishy smell coming from the kitchen and a sewage smell in the bathroom. The floors were filthy despite a sign asking us to remove shoes. When we walked around without socks, the soles of our feet became black and there was nothing with which to clean the floor (a broom without a dustpan and a swiffer sweeper with no pads). Although it is in walking distance to Ali’i, it’s a long, hot walk with no sidewalk for the majority of it. Customer service was great and Tiffany accommodated my need for a play pen right away. I would recommend her but not the condo.

-The home is always professionally cleaned before each check-in and confirmed with our cleaning crew that they inspected it twice before your arrival and didn't see any cleanliness issues. As with any guest concerns, we would have been happy to address them right away had you reached out
-We can confirm when at the property, a thorough walk-through throughout the house is done and no smell is detected
-We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors such as a fishy smell from a neighboring unit are out of our control, but we're sorry it impacted your stay
-We believe this was a sincere oversight about the dustpan and mop heads. We have passed this along to our property manager and take special attention to ensure this issue does not recur for future travelers

Just what we needed
We picked to stay at this place because it was more budget friendly than the hotels. The money we saved we spent on excursions and tours. This place has everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower had great pressure and hot water, the air conditioner worked great, laundry machines were convenient, kitchen had what we needed for simple meals. We were close to the fun activities we booked like snorkeling with manta rays, and our morning snorkel. Our parking spot was super convenient. We didn’t hang out much here and we were out exploring most of the day. We’d recommend this place to others

Had a great time in the Kailua-Kona area of the Big Island staying in this 1 BR apartment! Not full of frills or luxury, but had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including ample kitchen tools, beach and bath towels, working AC and easy-open windows, a smart TV and reliable Wi-Fi, great water pressure and temperature in the shower, and a large, comfortable bed to crash in at night. Code/keyless entry was a bigger amenity than I expected too-- with so much beach and outdoor activity, it's nice to not have one more thing to keep track of!
The property has a nice pool and grill set up surrounded by gorgeous flora, and is a quick and easy walk to a small beach or to the main strip.
Everyone in our party was a heavy sleeper so the nearby noise didn't bother us much, but this spot is ground floor and near a busy road so be prepared for notable activity starting early.
Host was easy to get in touch with and always polite and accommodating. Thanks for your help with a great trip!

The broiler was on when we arrived so it was extremely hot. They did reply to my text questions, it usually took 2-5 minutes to get a reply. The place was very nice and the amenities like the pool were nice. It's definitely close to a lot of things.

Great Location
Has everything you need for a short stay in Kona. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Bed is very comfortable if you prefer a firm bed. Some outside noise heard in the mornings but that was not an issue for us. Overall a great place to stay.

Tiffany is awesome! 10 stars! She promptly responded to questions before and during our stay. The condo was clean and well furnished including good shampoo/conditioner and laundry soap, beach towels and floats. The pool and parking space are very close. First floor unit is great. The location is perfect. Walk to beach and shopping, easy access to drive to Safeway, Walmart and Costco, other beaches and exploring the whole island. We also walked to Walmart one day. Great internet for working from “home”. After our 2 weeks were up we didn’t want to leave and we may be back in a few months! Highly recommend this place!
