We really enjoyed the location of the home, beautiful views.We did find the house cold so we had the heat going all the time, to be fair it is winter. All in all we were all happy!

Properties was as listed. Beautiful ocean view, clean and pet friendly. Landlord was very accommodating when we had to move our dates two weeks prior and was quick to respond. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

Our family of 8 enjoyed our stay in this property. We found it exactly as described. The interior was pleasant spotless and comfortable. The kitchen was roomy and well stocked. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. The beach was wild and wonderful. I have two suggestions to improve this great accommodation: more comfy chairs in the living room (currently only seating for five including an ottoman) and tidy up the japanese garden. Thank you for the opportunity to use this property.

The house was perfect lots of room very clean and everything you needed was easy to findThe outside has lots of seating and you couldn't ask for a better view of the water. Unfortunately the yard needs a complete overhaul nothing but weeds growing everywhere I would rent again if the yard was cleaned up

Island Christmas

This place was exactly what we were looking for. It was a great space - bigger than the pictures showed. It was a perfect space to 2 large families. It was great to have the big field and easy access to the beach. We loved the view as well.

Nice beach house

We really enjoy our stay, it’s close to Parksville and Qualicum Beach. The house is very clean and it’s a 2-3 mins walk to the beach. For future guests, suggestion will be make sure you bring your own sugar and extra bowls if you plan to make food there.

I loved the access to the beach and the beach was fantastic.I loved all the sea lions and sea birds.The neighbour hood was friendly.The many trails around the area were very well maintained and beautiful.The golf course very close by was great and well maintained and very good price.The beds were extremely comfortable but most of the bedroom windows only had sheers.There was no vent above the stove but the appliances were great.The main items that are commonly used like the kitchen appliances, bathrooms,bedding extra were very clean but otherwise it could have been cleaner.The house was stocked with some cooking ingredients and cleaning agents.

Great retreat at the beach

Excellent shared spaces, well set-up kitchen and back patio. Bedrooms are very nice. Bathrooms are good, noting no shower in upstairs bathroom, just a tub. Fabulous outside area with easy access to a stony beach with amazing views. Easy drive to Qualicum Beach (15-20 min) or to the ferries to Denman Island/Hornby Island (20 min to Buckley Bay). BBQ works well. Nice having washer/dryer to use.

A perfect spot to get out of town

This was the ideal spot for a family break away from the city. With easy access to the beach, it was a great place to get some fresh air and relax, even in the middle of winter. With both the Comox area and Qualicum nearby there are things to do and places to eat nearby, and plenty of spots for leisurely hikes in the woods or by the ocean. The house itself was very comfortable and well equipped for our party of 6 and our dog. We had brought her kennel/crate but they also provided a dog bed and crate for a smaller dog. The only slight drawback was that the yard wasn't fully fenced so we couldn't let our dog outside unaccompanied.We would certainly come back here again.

Island getaway

I was hesitant to book this place because I didnt see any previous reviews and I am very picky about cleanliness and quality of a listing. BUT this home was amazing and comfortable. We travelled with another family with their two kids and it was spacious, clean, quiet, and literally 30 seconds to walk to the beach. Fyi the beach is rocky. We did manage to paddle board and wander along the beach. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. View of the ocean is very nice from this home. It does take about 30 minutes drive to get to Parksville and a short drive to get groceries/coffee.

Relaxing stay

The house was clean and bedrooms and kitchen ready. The pebble beach was very relaxing. Lots of room to host family. But the owners were not really available. I sent them a message before our visit and never received an answer. I was relying on wifi but there was no wifi password in the unit. had no data to email them but luckily my daughter had data on her phone and was able to go to the VRBO website and find the password. The outside "gardens" must have been lovely once, but now were weedy and unkempt. We had to clean the outdoor furniture before using it. The house and location are very nice, views from the upstairs bedrooms amazing, but a little more effort would be appreciated.

Qualicum bay beach house

Fabulous home & location! Swam in ocean every day of our 1 week stay. Recently renovated home & ocean views from 3 of the four bedrooms. Highly recommend. We bought a telescopic window washer to clean the bird poop off the windows but otherwise very clean! They also have a full coffee maker in addition to the keurig. Bring sugar & spices you need…also smaller bowls for dips would be helpful…and a bottle opener/ corkscrew. We did a lot of cooking & the kitchen was well stocked & and had awesomely sharp knives for food prep! Tea towels might be helpful… we ran out of paper towels & had just enough dishwasher pods & comparing bags to get us through the week. Lots of beach & bath towels & washer & dryer worked great! Highly recommend this beautiful property…quiet neighborhood & steps to the beach! Sad to leave!
