Enjoy your stay at this spacious two-bedroom villa on the lagoon within Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort — the perfect spot for families or friends looking for a relaxing Hilton Head getaway!

On the first floor, you’ll find the open living, dining, and kitchen areas, along with the primary bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked and well-equipped for all your family’s needs, while the adjacent dining area comfortably seats six. The living area offers plenty of comfortable seating and an HDTV for relaxing evenings indoors.

The primary bedroom features a king bed, HDTV, and a private en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, the guest bedroom offers one queen bed and one twin bed, plus its own en-suite bathroom. An extra twin bed on the second-floor landing provides additional sleeping options, making this villa perfect for families.

Palmetto Dunes’ famous amenities are just minutes away, including the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, Dunes House oceanfront bar and grill, and the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center. The beach is easily reached by a short walk or bike ride, providing endless opportunities for sun, sand, and relaxation. Additional amenities include a large on-site pool within a short walking distance, two free hours of tennis or pickleball court time, and discounts on golf rounds.

Complex Pool is open April 1 - September 30 based upon weather conditions.

You are a 5 min bike ride to the beach, or general store/pickleball courts, which was perfect for my 61 year old mom. The interior was super clean and the modern updates were perfect. The size was just perfect for our family of 4 plus my mother. The exterior did need cleaning but it doesn’t hinder you from having a great time & enjoying the space. We did wish there better window coverage to offer more privacy but again it doesn’t hinder having a great time in the space. We stay at the Palmetto Dunes every summer and this was easily one of our favorites because of the location. You also have kayak access in the back yard.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been staying in Hickory Cove for almost 15 years and have stayed at several villas. This one is exceptional. Not only is it on the water (perfect for a kayak ride or viewing the wildlife), close to the general store (helpful if you forget something or want a treat), on a cul-de-sac that features deer dawn and dusk, close to the pool, golf course and tennis/pickle ball courts and Big Jim restaurant (every meal we have had has been delicious and reasonably priced), but also only a few minute walk to the beach. Plus, the many large oaks provide much shade on the way. This complex borders the busy condo area, but then opens to the residential section so it is more peaceful. The interior is beautifully renovated with a pantry added to the laundry area (a huge upgrade for storage). The clean, sleek upgrades (including baths) made the trip extra enjoyable. The extra bed and nightstand at top of stairwell was perfect for an extra guest. Highly recommend and looking forward to booking again. You can tell the owners love this condo and resort and you will too!

Would have liked if owners cleaned up the messy garbage in one of the bins by trash area. Had open garbage in the bin with garbage also scattered about/ Also no beach towels?? With the price we paid it would have been nice if beach towels were left as a courtesy, (and chairs)

The first floor has a nice master suite with an excellent kitchen and living room area. The upstairs offers a bedroom with mulitple beds and another updated bathrooom. Also, the location is very convenient to the beach and other amenties of Palmetto Dunes Resort.I would highly recommend considering this unit.

Villa needs some work on the HVAC system, dishwasher and general spring cleaning. Comfortable new furniture in great shape. Weekly cleaning was fine but the windows, porches, outside furniture heat ducts, comforters were dirty. Would recommend to another renter if the owner replaced or repaired some items. Bathrooms need renovation.
