Impressive holiday home offering versatile living for the ultimate
coastal retreat to entertain and relax. Situated in the heart of Crescent
Head village and within a stone's throw to the beach and iconic surf
break.
Offering separate living spaces to the upstairs and downstairs areas.
Perfect for two families or extended families. Enjoy the cool ocean
breezes with open plan living and high ceilings. Take in the ocean views
whilst BBQ’ing or relaxing at the large outdoor setting on the
entertaining deck, which flows from the spacious living area. Fully
equipped cook's designer kitchen with 6 burner gas stove, island bench
and a dishwasher to make holiday entertaining a breeze. Upstairs
includes ensuite from the master bedroom and a separate WC with a
further full size bathroom including bath downstairs. The roomy garage
offers a fabulous all weather games room with bar area, fridge, dart
board, pool table, table-tennis and board racks.
Configuration: - Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds;
Downstairs: 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed, 1 bedroom with tri bunk-
double base and single on top +1 large bunk room with tri-bunk,
double base and single on top.

Property included Wifi recently added.

Sleeps 12 comfortably. Please note: Personal linen is not provided and
guests will need to bring their own sheets, towels and pillowcases. If
you would like to hire linen, this can be provided at an additional cost.
Travel light as a full laundry with washing machine and drier is
included.

Family Holiday

Our group was made up of 6 adults and 4 children. The location and layout of the property was fantastic. Short walk to the beach, shops at the end of the street and the new mini gold is excellent. The property could do with a really good clean, floors mopped, fly screens cleaned and bathroom fans also need cleaning. Overall the property is very good.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took some Norwegian friends to show off beautiful crescent head and there was plenty of room for 4 couples. The big deck looked out over the bay and the property is in the middle of the village so you needn’t get back in the car if you didn’t want to. There were some cleanliness issues with hair left laying around in all bathrooms and bathroom cupboards and drawers. The games room was also very dirty and if you wanted a decent game of pool this wasn’t the place with the table twisted, uneven and an eclectic selection of balls to say the least.Excellent service from Elders to find us this place though and I’d recommend to others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Vaka Malua for our families to come together from Qld and NSW. It was a good size for our three families. Unfortunately, there were big holes in the fly screens on the ground floor which meant we couldn't have the windows open and there were no fans in those back rooms - I would highly recommend the flyscreens on windows & doors are patched ASAP. We also paid for linen hire and had to make all the beds. This wasn't ideal as we didn't arrive until late at night.The ping pong and pool table in the garage were a hit with the kids and adults. It was in a great location easily accessible for the beach, shops and dining.

Its a close walk to the shops, club and beach and has an outside shower to rinse off the sand. The two suggestions to give it all 5-stars are the bins are suitable for 1-2 people, whereas this sleeps about 12. The other suggestion is more comfortable furniture on the outside deck.

The kitchen is well stocked with the essential equipment & the balcony gives great views. The house does charge a premium but misses the mark on some basic premium aspects. The two main beds are rock hard - unless you're a heavy sleeper/prefer extremely solid beds, you won't get great sleep for most of your stay. The other is wifi - generally a standard with premium offerings, but this doesn't come with the house.
