Lemongrass

Lemongrass is a short walk from everything Sawtell has to offer. The property is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a short stay - even an egg poacher. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Lemongrass. Location was excellent. Facility was very comfortable, great size, clean with thoughtful little touches (like books for the kids, wraps and foils, multiple tea towel). Linens were of great quality, great array of crockery and cooking utensils. It was perfect for us and our 2 kids. We would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay again. The only thing to mention was that the bed were quite firm and springy so if you prefer a softer touch then perhaps take a portable mattress topper.

We were booked in for two nights but only stayed the one. We had disrupted sleep from on and off noise in the until above us. The lounges could do with a clean they were very dirty. The rest of the place was clean.

Reviewer Comments: Lemongrass was welcoming, comfortable, clean, easy walking distance to the main street and beach but still quiet (despite being next door to a construction site) The bed was quite hard and there was no view at all but I enjoyed my stay and felt very safe on my own, day and night.

Pass on Lemongrass

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the location was great and the interior online looked cute and well thought about upon arrival we were met with a horrible smell of stale urine and sewage drains. The bedrooms also smelt musty and we later found the issue for this which has been reported to the owner and real estate.The sofa is stained and tired and needs an upgrade. The dining table is much of the same. In context we requested to move after 1 day. I would not return and would not recommend. In fact it made the first day of our holiday stressful.
