Hey Daddy-O, Happy Days Escape is rockin 'all week for you! Centrally located in the hills of Wimberley, this upstairs loft apartment is the perfect retro rockin pad to hang out and explore all the cool spots in the area. With a fun 50’s diner feel, guests will find themselves boppin all night long to the tunes of Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, and Elvis Presley. This colorful checkerboard escape will accommodate 4 guests and offers a unique getaway for those looking for a nifty time. Complete with a relaxing hot tub, fun tile floors, and a 50’s vibe, guests will find this home has everything they could possibly dream. Happy Days Escape's sister property, Pancho and Lefty’s Place, is just across the way and offers accommodations for six as well.
This upstairs retro loft apartment offers: a roomy living space that opens to the kitchen and a private master suite with king bed. Guests will have a ball whipping up favorites in this colorful kitchen with cherry red appliances and all other cooking necessities. Enjoy a burger and shake at the fun retro diner table with seating for four. Guests will find the living area is the perfect space to relax and enjoy popcorn, a coke float, and a movie flick! For additional sleeping space, the cool leather sofa opens to a full bed. Sleep soundly in the dreamy bedroom with fun pops of color, ionic portraits of Hollywood celebrities, and plenty of storage for guest’s threads. Freshen up for a night on the town in the glassy tiled bathroom with a polka dot floor. This roomy bath offers a walk-in shower, large mirror and plenty of counter space for couples.
Kick back on the deck with a cool beverage and grill favorites on the propane grill. Hang out under the stars in the luxurious hot tub located on the lower level. Gather around the fire pit and enjoy roasting s’mores with family and friends. In addition, the outdoor space offers a dining area to enjoy meals a la carte.
With Wimberley only a few minutes away, enjoy shopping in the downtown square of Wimberley or swimming, and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, Zip Line Adventure, or Blue Hole Regional Park offers swimming and nature trails. Visit the delicious restaurants as well as the charming shops in the square. Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon. Overlook Park offers fabulous views of Canyon Lake as well as the Dam. Rent a pontoon boat, or jet ski on Canyon Lake. Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. New Braunfels offers lots of fun, float the beautiful Guadalupe River, rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, or visit one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting.

Couples Getaway
The property is in great condition and fully stocked with all the non-food items you would need on a getaway. The location is just far enough from town that it has a remote feeling but still close enough to grab a bite to eat nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is excellent but the surround behind wasn’t good sight at all .. and the hot hub water too cold I did requested for maintenance but never came to fix it

Perfect Place To Stay
First, it's even cuter than the photos. Comfy, clean & everything we needed. Four people could stay here comfortably. The sunset on the balcony was beautiful.
It was the perfect location for the towns we wanted to check out. We went out & adventured & then came back to the quiet & calm of this great place. The mattress made for good night sleeps. It's a good one!
Communication was excellent. We read the instructions & check in was a breeze.
We've since heard of other things we want to see & hope this property will be available for our stay.
Wimberley is a gem of a town. Creek House Grill had great food & drinks. Shopping is amazing! The Redbird Cafe in Blanco is so good. Don't write it off as just a sandwich shop. And it's worth the wait you might encounter. Read the sign outside about ways to order.
Thank you to those that answered my many questions prior to our stay. You were always informative & helped us have a perfect no stress vacation!!

SCAM ALERT – DO NOT BOOK! Deceptive Listing, Zero Privacy, and Horrible Customer Service!
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. My wife and I booked this place thinking it was a private home, but after a 2-hour drive, we arrived to find it was a shared house with total strangers below us. Nowhere in the listing does it clearly state this—the “Entire Home” claim is a blatant lie. It briefly mentions that it’s upstairs, but nowhere does it explain that the building hosts two units. We didn't stay because we weren't comfortable sharing a home with strangers. Wouldn't have booked if we had known. We were immediately confused by the six cars outside and multiple people downstairs. Finding the hidden entrance was another headache—it’s in the backyard, through a dirt path, not a walkway. Zero privacy: The hot tub is in the backyard with an open gate and a missing fence section, meaning anyone downstairs can walk in at any time. Later, we found the downstairs unit’s listing, with tons of complaints about how you can hear everything from upstairs—talking, walking, TV, even a dog. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want strangers hearing my every move. Parking nightmare: The listing says there’s parking, but all the spots were taken by other renters. Scam customer service: The host ignored us at first, VRBO hung up on us twice, and the management company refused a refund, later offering 81 in “hush money” to not post a bad review, just a fraction of what we paid. We wasted 4 hours driving for nothing. If you’re flying in, I feel even worse for you. DO NOT BOOK.

Very quite place!
This place is very quiet. It's convenient to Wimberley to shop, get food, and walk around. It was quit the 1st night, but after the other unit was filled it was a bit loud till 10pm. Also, one of the reason we chose this place was because it has a hot tub. As a hot tub owner and using my on test strips. The PH was off the chart. The property manager assured us it was at the correct level. We didn't feel comfortable getting in. So, we didn't get to use it. Other than that we had a great time. That's why I still gave it a 5* rate. We will stay here again!

Weekend getaway
Great location, not very far from Wimberley. Enjoyed the privacy. Hot tub worked amazing with the cooler weather. Definitely will use again if I need to stay in the surrounding area.

Cute and quiet!
The place was definitely peaceful and cute. Decor was cute. There was some confusion when trying to enter the house. There was a truck under the carport when we arrived. The code I was given didn't work and after trying a few times, I contacted the property and it turns out that this is a duplex which wasn't stated. Our place was around back and upstairs. The guy in the bottom part where we were trying to enter finally hollered through the window that we were at the wrong place.
We had never been to Wimberley before. It was a nice place but not a lot there to do. We ended up traveling to San Marcos and New Braunfels twice during our stay to find other things to do.
It was definitely peaceful though of that's what you're looking for.

Great getaway!
The property was nice and house was adorable! Huge shower and super comfy bed. The hot tube was nice to get into in the evenings after walking around Fredericksburg. Friday evening another group arrived in the downstairs unit. We could hear them partying for quite a while. This is the perfect little weekend getaway. We will definitely be back again soon.

Pleasant, clean and convenient access to Wimberley and surrounding area
Quick and convenient weekend getaway. Location is a few minutes outside of Wimberley and close to numerous restaurants and wineries. Would recommend.

I nice getaway
The property was clean and we’ll appointed. My only recommendation is to list that the property is not fenced for pets that may require it. The property fence includes another property and the gates are always open by other guests.
Aside from that, I really enjoyed this stay.
