Confortable et propre avec une touche champêtre, Bandit’s Loft est un bel espace abordable parfait pour une retraite rustique. Cette belle escapade a une cuisine complète avec vaisselle et cuisinière électrique, et une magnifique terrasse en bois offrant de belles vues panoramiques sur les collines et au-delà. Pouvant accueillir 6 personnes, le loft comprend 1 chambre avec un lit king-size, 1 salle de bain et un salon avec un futon queen-size et un lit de repos avec lit gigogne.
Les murs lambrissés et le décor champêtre offrent une évasion du quotidien et vous permettent d'apprécier la simplicité d'une époque plus ancienne. Savourez une tasse de café fraîchement torréfié tout en profitant du lever du soleil depuis votre terrasse, puis promenez-vous jusqu'à la rivière pour pêcher tôt le matin.

Very nice and quiet place to stay. The property is close to town, but secluded as well. Loved seeing all the deer around. The host met us when we arrived and was very helpful.

Overall stay was good with a couple of exceptions. Access to the river was further away and steeper than anticipated. We were aware of the steps to access the loft, however nothing was said about it being bi-level. There was a five step difference between the kitchen/dining area and the main floor. Definitely not a property that older people with mobility issues should rent. Otherwise, the host met us when we arrived and was very helpful.

The description of the property was not accurate. This unit is at the back of the property owners land and not riverfront. We expected rustic but not dilapidated and run down. The air conditioning units were VERY loud. The kitchen floor felt as though you would fall through it. The kitchen utensils and pots/pans were gross and not usable. The owner had a guy there that was very creepy and made my skin crawl. Once you walked down to the river past the owners home the river was beautiful. We ended up leaving after one night instead of staying the three nights booked. Would recommend that the property management company actually visit the site and put up a proper description of the property.

Quite Space

Nice and quite little space above an unoccupied garage. House is older and floors were not level. The wall units where load and did not cool very well. The house was mostly clean, but landlord had skipped dusting for the month. The waterway was beautiful, but not swimmable. They are currently in a drought and the water was very shallow and warm.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much! The property was quiet, clean, and had all the essentials. It was super convenient to Wimberley and the surrounding area. The river, while low, was beautiful.

Cozy, clean, comfortable and friendly

Located on the banks of the Blanco River nestled in the Texas Hill county, the cozy, well furnished little loft is sure to make you smile. The California King sized bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on including my own. ( and I have a purple brand of mattress! ). The property is located just a few scant miles out of Wimberley, Texas where there is something always going on. Arguably the best swimming hole in Texas is located within its city limits. Artist flock to this little town because of its positive vibes. You can't go wrong with this combination.

Great place for a quick stay

We were visiting San Marcos for family weekend. This was not a far drive from campus. We were able to explore Wimberly while we were there. Great place to stay!

Wonderful Location!

My husband and I stayed the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Originally, we were planning to go to the river for a couple of hours and then go into town to shop/sightsee. Once we saw the river access, shopping was out the window! We spent all of Saturday sitting in chairs in the river. It was so beautiful and so peaceful! We saw deer with fawns cross the river and come up right between where we sat and the property! Additionally, the loft is only about 7 minutes to the popular restaurants in town, making it easy to go out to dinner. We would stay here again!

Cozy getaway

We had a great getaway stay here in Wimberley. Loved our stay, house was comfy & had everything we needed. Very cute and comfortable. Host was nice when we arrived. Nice place to stay if you want to getaway!

Cozy, delightful, unique

My girlfriend and I picked this place for access to the blanco river which was a great move with all the main swimming holes in town being reservation only/closed. The blanco is a pretty warm river and not especially full but it was great to sit in and soak up sun. The owner was friendly and welcomed us when we got in. If anything the pictures undersold how much natural light the cabin has during the day which was great. Fair warnings - the floor is a little off-level in some places which can make it feel like gravity is pulling in the wrong direction when walking, but we found this made for a more engaging experience. Also as others have noted the tp is 1-ply. That said there were some un-advertised amenities that were awesome: I think the place has been updated a bit since the pictures were taken, including a nicer bed, and a tasteful bathroom renovation. There’s wifi if you know your way around a router, and the water pressure is great. We loved our stay and will almost certainly come back

Booking agents lies and property is messy.

I messaged about details on this property. Distance to river and how much water is in river and can I kayak in it right now knowing we are in a drought. they said it can be kayaked and has more water than almost anywhere in the area. Turned out that the river bed was farther than stated and there was a trickle of water, maybe 2" deep in the deepest spot. water was dry in nearly the whole river area. Owner met me the next morning and stated she knows the booking agents lie and hoped they did not MISLEAD me on the listing. She is aware of the issue and still uses them, so she is ok with them lying about it. I do NOT recommend this property unless you just want a place to sleep close to Wimberley. add in the messy property and vehicles taking up space to park, it was not a great exprience.

Host was lovely and communicative. Property was quiet and in a beautiful neighborhood. Cabin was cozy and comfy, perfect for a pair of travelers looking for a relaxing getaway in this cute little town. So many fun things to do in Wimberley if you enjoy shopping, thrifting, being out in nature, and settling in for the night at a reasonable time.

Not as advertised

I was looking forward to staying at this spot right on the river. As soon as we arrived it was apparent that the photos that were posted did not accurately reflect the location or it’s proximity to the river. The area around our “loft” was cluttered and it was not right on the river. The fire pit and gazebo looked completely different from the photos that were posted. The host was also very rude to the other guests also staying on the property when they were trying to relax by the fire pit. As other reviews have also stated the toilet paper was so thin it was see through. The view from the loft was terrible as well. This location was a huge disappointment. Would not recommend.

Close-in and country

We enjoyed the Blanco River location so close to town. The property was clean and had a kind of country feel in the furnishings and supplies. We got a friendly greeting from the owner as we unloaded. The weather was cold so we had less time to enjoy the river, which was running on the low side. The extra blankets provided were welcome, as were the generous kitchen supplies. Quirks: the ceiling fan/light in the LR was not working. The toilet paper was unacceptably cheap and thin--fortunately another reviewer tipped us to bring our own. My partner owns a short-term-rental unit and was mystified. The wifi password did not work (there was some ambiguity about what it was on the sheet provided under the TV). I strongly recommend that the rental agreement be made available to review BEFORE booking, through a link on the listing. The terms are many, stricter, and more punitive than I have encountered before, and the tone was far from welcoming. When I signed and returned the rental agreement, I got another notice that it had not been returned. When I called in to investigate, it turned out that the returned form was indeed in their inbox, unnoticed by staff. Given that we paid a hefty cleaning fee for a two-night stay, the terms specified for guests cleaning up before the cleaners were mystifying. We didn't take it personally and we had a good time. Perhaps it reflects on the length of stay and quality of guest encountered in the past.
