Beautiful Beach Vibe Lake Cottage, Spectacular View, Big Deck & Private Hot Tub

**Registered & Licensed** The Sunny Shack is a slice of heaven just off the lake with gorgeous Lake & Mountain views. Enjoy the sun and views from the large front deck and unwind after a day on the lake or at the pool in the private hot tub on the rear deck. Family & Pet Friendly spacious 2 Bedroom +Loft that is generously equipped for all your needs. There are also two Smart TVs so you can log in and stream all your favorites. Basic cable is included as well. The large driveway provides ample room for parking.

Enjoy the lake, marina, outdoor swimming pools (x2), hot tubs, lake side fire pits, private beach & aqua-park. There is also a Mini-Golf Course, Tennis & Pickleball Courts and we provide our guests with Putters, golf balls, Tennis Rackets (2) & Tennis Balls, PickleBall Rackets (4) and Pickleball Balls for your enjoyment. There are also plenty of trails, a playground, a Market, liquor & wine store, and a restaurant! (The soft tacos are the best!). Paddle Boards, Kayaks and Golf Carts can all be rented from the resort (suggest to book these in advance!). Marina Slips are available for rent as well if you are bringing your boat (need to book this in advance) and the boat / trailer parking is adjacent to the cottage.

Lovely stay

We recently returned from a lovely stay at the Sunny Shack. Jason was a very responsive host. The house has a great view of the lake out front and a bonus addition of a well kept and clean hottub out back. Great location walkable distance to the lake along a trail with breathtaking views.

Our stay was fantastic! The only thing was I was always nervous about using the oven as the handle was broken lol Aside from that it had everything we needed.

Wow a charming home away from home!

This charming cottage/house was very clean, comfortable, spacious, and decorated inside with uplifting accessories to brighten your day. The hot tub was fantastic and the cottage has a fully furnish comfortable patio deck with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains -so relaxing and breathtaking view. Cozy, perfect place for peace and quiet. The resort is very clean and well maintained, and your surrounded by so many magnificent views. The real stand out for this place to me was the cleanliness and the coziness of the cottage with the magnificent views.

Relaxation

Come and enjoy the views of the lake, mountains and blue sky’s. Relax in the hot tub on one of the two big decks. The wildlife roaming around everywhere as well as Hummingbirds checking out the flowers on the decks. Play mini golf, swim, volleyball, tennis and much more at the main center. Or go swimming in the lake which is clear and warm. Great place to unwind.

The Perfect Spot

This delightful cottage was spotless, cozy, and roomy, with cheerful decor that could brighten anyone's day. The hot tub on the deck was a big hit, especially with the kids—they practically lived in it! The easy access to mini-golf was a bonus, keeping everyone entertained. The deck itself was perfect for relaxing, with stunning views of the lake and mountains that were absolutely breathtaking. This place is the epitome of cozy and peaceful—a great spot to unwind. The resort is super clean and well-maintained, surrounded by jaw-dropping scenery. Plus, the host, Jason, always responded immediately. I highly recommend this place!

Gorgeous cottage with amazing view and very clean!

This cottage has fantastic views and was very clean. We enjoyed spending time on the front deck and in the hot tub on the rear deck in the evenings (and one morning!). The cottage is well equipped and we had everything we needed, and it was very clean and spacious and is close to the lake. We were 6 adults and there was plenty of room. Any questions we had were responded to very promptly. The resort has a lot of amenities that are free and we enjoyed both pools and played some mini-golf too! We will be returning to this cottage and will be telling our friends about it. Fantastic place.

Loving La Casa!

This was our first time staying at La Casa and we just loved it! The location of this cottage was ideal - close enough to everything we needed and having rented the golf cart made it super convienant to get around to the store, pool area, beach and garbage/recycling. This cottage had plenty of space for our party of eight (4 adults, 4 kids), the hot tub was so nice to have and we enjoyed our evenings on the front patio. Air conditioning made our stay super comfortable and the kitchen and linens were fully stocked. I would recommend bringing extra laundry soap, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, paper towel, hand soap as the supplies provided were not enough for our party of 8 for 5 days. We look forward to coming back next year!

Awesome outdoor amenties

We enjoyed our time at La Casa - one couple with two young kids (6&3), one other younger couple and the us - the grandparents of the young kids + Luna, our 4 legged grandpuppy! Our only complaint was the loft area which we thought would be fine for the young couple. It was very hot, bright sunshine at 5:00 AM, and an extremely uncomfortable pull-out double bed. The couple ended up buying an air mattress which kept deflating - so we'd say they really got the short end of the stick. The kitchen was very well stocked, the other two bedrooms were fine (kids loved the bunkbed), bathrooms were clean and well equipped (towels, hair dryer) but best of all were the front deck (sunshine in the morning & shade in the afternoon)and back deck with hot tub. Thanks for the comp. wine and for sharing your place.

We are glad you all enjoyed your stay at our cottage and LaCasa Resort! The two decks and private hot tub are a favorite of many! Sorry to hear about the pull-out sofa situation. We will look into that as we have never had complaints before and slept in it ourselves as well. Maybe something needs adjusting or replacing - we will check that out for sure. We have also now inquired about transition tinting for the upper front windows as well for the morning light go t into the loft (as long as it does t take away from the beauty of the sunshine / lighting that most enjoy!). Was a great family friendly spot with great views. No backyard neighbours overlooking the back deck with hot tub. With it being the last home on the stretch we had a bonus outdoor space for the kids to find bugs and play with toys. The host was kind and a good communicator.

Lovely cottage for relaxing vacation

We really enjoyed the lake life and are so sad to leave. The SunnyShack was perfect for our family. The cottage came equipped with everything needed to enjoy the resorts amenities. Hot tub was great after a long day at the lake and pool. Melanie was quick to respond and gave all the information we required. We would stay here again!

Fantastic Location

Great spot, clean and just as advertised. Two bedrooms plus a "loft" area with a sofa bed is enough space for all of us. Great views, short walk down to the beach or up to the pool. White Rock Lake wildfire made for an interesting backdrop but it was a great holiday and we'd certainly do it again! Thanks Melanie!

We are a married couple with two daughters and two pups. 10 years after starting our own business we were lucky enough to purchase our beautiful cottage at La Casa, “The Sunny Shack”. We try to spend as much time as possible at La Casa now, but between our business and our girls it is not as often as we would like but look forward to spending more time at La Casa in the not so distant future. Until then we enjoy hosting others to enjoy our beautiful cottage and all the great amenities at La Casa.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We take pride in our Cottage and Hosting you at our “Sunny Shack”. You will find everything provided, which will make relaxing on the large front deck overlooking the lake all that much better.

The front deck has a comfy sectional couch & table, as well as a patio table with chairs and a new Weber BBQ. It’s hard to say if dinner on the front deck after a day on the lake is better than breakfast on the deck to start your day, but you get to do both so it doesn’t matter! You also have a back deck with your own private hot tub to relax in.

The Sunny Shack has a beach-house vibe and gets lots of sun through the many front windows, but the AC will keep you comfortable when needed as well.

We hope you will enjoy your time at The Sunny Shack as much as we do.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our cottage has a unique location being the first on the top of the road with only one neighbor to the side. When on the large front deck it feels very spacious and open with the breathtaking view of the lake and mountains.

The 2nd large deck at the back with its own hot tub is a great place to either start your morning or wind down your day. There is also a large patio umbrella on the rear deck with a couple of comfy patio chairs, making it very easy to lock back and relax on either the front or back deck.

And the cottage itself is very beautiful inside with a real Beach Vibe to it! 😃
