We had an excellent stay . This is the second time we have stayed at this house and Nancy is a wonderful host, very responsive and friendly. The house is well stocked, lots of supplies and very clean. I love that everything is labeled and so easily accessible. Thank you Nancy for making our stay such an enjoyable experience, we hope to be back next year!

Great house for families

We were thrilled with the amenities of the house. We planned to cook all our meals since we were a party of 9, and it had everything one would need! It was also great that there was a beach tent, and we enjoyed all the fun things like the ping pong table and shuffle board.

Great place to stay

This was the perfect place for us. Best equipped house I’ve ever stayed in. The only negative was the fridge smelled like fish. We will definitely book again

The perfect beach house for a family! All the comforts of home!

We enjoyed our stay at this house so much! The host thought of every detail to provide ease and comfort and fun! We look forward to staying there again! Honestly we didn’t want to leave. Thanks to the host for everything!

I’ve been to this beach house a couple times and it never disappoints! I’ve been really stressed about college and getting away for a couple days, especially in this house, was much needed! Big thanks to the owner! I will be returning soon!

We loved it!

This house is very nice and the owner is super nice and communicates well. Everything was clean and well maintained. Lots of games, kitchen is fully stocked, great balcony patio. Definitely recommend!

Dream vacation!

We had the best time at Jimmy's Hook. The house had everything we needed and then some. The beach was a short walk from the house. It's located in a very nice well kept neighborhood. I highly recommend this rental for your family!

Really enjoyed the stay. Proximity to beach. amenities, kitchen completely stocked with great cookware & utensils. Boardgames, games on the patio, the elevator to help get stuff up & down.... It was a great trip.

This beach house was by far one of the best I have rented at Pirates Beach. It has every amenity you need. And since it was raining some of the time we played with the games downstairs (corn hole, shuffleboard) and the games inside. I highly recommend this property!

Graduates and mom’s

5 mom’s and 5 daughter’s stayed in this super comfortable house. Well stocked! Short walk to the beach. Lots of beach chairs and equipment, along with a wagon to pull all the beach gear!

Perfect for families

Everything was great from booking to checking out. Plenty of space for two families with small kids. Nancy was extremely accommodating and responsive. Loved that there were built in baby gates around the stairs and lots of extras to use at the beach or around the house. We’ll be back!

A great holiday was had

We stayed here for Christmas with our college and adult kids and everyone had a wonderful time. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, the beds were comfortable and the overall layout was exactly what we were hoping for. It was an easy walk to the beach and we so appreciated all of the beach items left for our use. We really just needed to bring ourselves and our christmas presents-it was so nice to not have to worry about packing EVERYTHING. We will definitely be back!

Excellent beach getaway

We had the greatest time at Jimmy Hooks! The accommodations were spacious and there were so many areas to enjoy and have fun, both kids and adults alike. The walk to the beach was easy and the hosts offered everything you could need - a wagon for toting items, beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, sand toys. The list goes on and on, not to mention the indoor amenities - games, books, a fully stocked kitchen. Top it off, the hosts were very friendly and attentive, making sure all went smoothly. We are already excited to go back!

Perfect beach getaway

Perfect vacation. Beautiful home in a great location. House catered to our every need. Stocked full of everything you need, all the way down to step stools for the little ones to use the potty and wash their hands. Property manager (Nancy) kept us informed and answered any and all questions we had. 10/10 experience, 5 star rating, and zero complaints!

Perfect Family Vacation

Just pack your bathing suits and clothes, because this house has everything else, it's perfect!! There is no other word to describe it. My family of three and my parents enjoyed a wonderful five days here. The house had everything we needed. From a toaster, to a toddler toilet seat, to a HUGE amount of games, to every beach item my 3 year old might want to play with. Everything we needed, the house had.My 3 year old was entertained every day! It was so great that the house had toys for her to play with, and even games that she could do with the whole family. And the fact that we didn't have to bring anything for the beach made packing for the road trip so much easier.The short 5 minute walk to the beach was easy to make with the wagon provided. And being able to shower off before going into the house made life so much easier. We already want to go back and bring more friends!

Home Away From Home

This house feels like home! It’s the only place to stay if you have a family. Its prime location to the beach makes it a quick walk to the water. There’s all the games and beach toys you could ever want! My kids love the outdoor shower and my daughter got really good at Battleship at night. They have this amazing game closet! The beds are the best, I never want to leave them! But the patio for the my morning coffee is worth getting up. Book here and prepare for the vacation of a lifetime!

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood

This house was perfect for our large family. The host was in touch before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The house had so many thoughtful touches, especially for those with young children - baby gate on stairs (that weren't in the way if you didn't need them), pack and play, and games. It also had a fully stocked kitchen, canopies and toys for the beach, corn hole and ping pong downstairs. It's closer to the main road than the beach, but it is a very short walk to the beach and I love the Pirates Beach neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect beach rental

We had such a fun spring break in Galveston. This rental was only a short walk to the beach and was the perfect size for 2 families. The host had plenty of toys for the kids and chairs for the adults for the beach and was responsive with any questions we had. Even though the hot tub was not working at the time she made sure we were taking care of and happy. The only complaint is we ended having to go buy paper towels and garage bags before our trip was done because we used all that were given. We will definitely be staying here if we find out way to Galveston again.
