Beautiful condo with fun decor and exceptionally clean. Host was excellent with communication. Location is ideal on a beautiful beach with lots of great restaurants nearby. Check in/out was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

This is such a great unit if you are looking for a good one bedroom! Very well updated and clean. Plenty of space, even at the slightly smaller size. Very nice unit!

Wonderful place to stay

Had a great time spending Christmas and New Years at the beach. Beautiful, clean condo, with everything we needed, even decorated with a Christmas tree! Easy check in/out and great communication with owner. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful unit!

This unit was gorgeous! Every area in the condo is renovated, and it is very well equipped. The view from the porch is beautiful and in a great location to see the pool. Also conveniently located near the elevator for easy access back and forth to the pool and beach. We have already booked our stay here for next year!

Super cute, clean and cozy ocean front condo! LOVE! LOVE!!

We loved staying in this condo! Perfect size for the 2 of us, overlooking the ocean and pool, super clean and cozy, nicely decorated and we sat on our balcony every am and pm to watch the beautiful sun. Everything we needed to be at our home away from home was provded! We will DEFINITELY stay here again in the near future!! Thank you!

Excellent beach facing condo, easy walk to pool and beach. Has elevator, we used stairs. Both were next door to condo entrance. Good restaurants nearby, also a Publix for groceries.

Beautiful condo with an oceanfront view

The owners were incredible! Excellent communication, from start to finish! We had an issue with the front door lock, on the first day, and Debbie responded, with help, immediately. Kristin’s stepfather even drove 40 miles to make sure we could get in the condo, and make sure the lock/code worked. Everyone was so nice, and they all worked together to rectify the problem quickly. We appreciated their efforts so much. They even gave us a gift card, to an awesome restaurant, to thank us for our patience! The condo is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and the view of the pools and ocean are breathtaking! It was the first place we have ever stayed, that basically had everything we needed to go to the beach (beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels, etc...). We will definitely return to NSB and this condo!!

Great location, great view

The check-in process was easy; there was a lockbox near the office. We also needed an updated pool gate code, and the owner was quick to respond with that. The condo itself was clean and neat, but there were no extra tissues or paper towels, so we had to buy some. I'm sure the bed sheets had been washed prior to our arrival, but there were small yellow/brown stains scattered on all the bed linens (fitted and flat sheets, and pillow cases). I contacted the owner to ask if we could get a new set of sheets, but never got a response. We also didn't know that we needed to hang a parking pass in our windshield, and we arrived after the office had closed, so we had to wait until the next morning to get the pass. I contacted the owner about this, but never got a response. We didn't have any problems, but it's possible that our car could have been towed during our first night there. I would definitely stay at this location again, just maybe not in this particular unit.

Beautiful Unit for Couples or a Small Family

My family travels to NSB every summer and this year we were all able to stay at the pelican, in separate units. This unit is beautiful, comfortable and clean. If you like watching TV, both of them are plenty large and the couch in the living room is extremely comfortable. The kitchen is great for it's size, it is laid out so well that it feels larger than ours at home (ours is pretty small as well), it was a breeze to cook in. No kitchen table, only a breakfast bar to eat at unless you are comfortable eating on the couch - there are folding TV dinner trays for use if you like that sort of thing. The view was okay, you can see most of the pool and parts of the horizon/beach through the palm trees. It is still very pretty, just not ideal if you want to see/hear the ocean and beach. The biggest letdown on this trip was not having a restroom on or near the pool deck. I heard from others that there was one available in the office, but it requires a key and you have to walk through the parking lot to get to it. I understand this is a Pelican problem so I'm not considering that in my rating but it is something to note especially if you are trying to potty train a little one :). Overall, I would highly recommend this room for a couples getaway, or a family trip with a kiddo or two. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are excitedly planning next year's visit.

Annual beach stay at the Pelican

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to booking this one in the future if it’s available. A little odd with not having blinds in the main living room, but not a big deal at all. One of the best if not the best unit I have stayed in over the last 15 years.

This property is my go-to property anytime i am in New Smyrna! 2 stays and another on the books.. They have EVERYTHING you may need. Pool and beach Amazing. The view out of the balcony from the sliding glass window hands down the best spot for the sunrise. Deb is the most amazing host..i have nothi g but A for this property! As a Central Florida native I have grown up playing in New Smyrna Beach. I am a real estate agent and found this lovely property and purchased as an investment property in November 2016 and really just wanted a great place for my children to create vacation memories. It is so quaint and we immediately felt right at home at The Pelican. We hope that you will feel the same way and we can't wait to have you at our favorite place, "Somewhere on the Beach!"

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My favorite part is the view from the balcony. The spacious pool are is a major benefit- with one heated pool we can play year round. The BBQ area is convenient, I mean who doesn't like to cook out at the beach. The staff keeps the place immaculate and that is important to me as well.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

I love how close it is to everything you would want to do at the beach. Oceanfront with a great view. Flagler just down the road with a plethora of restaurants to chose from, and the last Saturday of every month there is a wine walk down Flagler. Just a great little ocean town.
