Contact was good prior to arrival with responses. Once checked in no response. Description of convenience amenities was off. No laundry detergent, no spices as indicated, no hand towels for any bathroom, only individual size fry pan.no oven broiler tray even. Had to buy a fry pan to cook for family. Texted contact no response at all.House was clean . Convenient. Could use more seating in living room only one couch and chair .

Great weekend getaway!

We rented the property for a few days over a long weekend to Disney. The property is very conveniently located near all of the Disney parks. The host was very quick to respond and was hospitable during the entire process of booking, staying, and checking out.

Great property!

Overall it was a pretty nice place to stay. A few of the bunk beds were a little uncomfortable and squeaky for an adult, but a child would care less. The pool was nice and warm when we arrived as requested.

Overall the stay was good . The bunkbeds were very squeaky . The livingroom needs more seating only 4 people could sit in livingroom at a time.

The property manager was very responsive. We requested a few items: potholders, kitchen towel and a new shower curtain. The manager delivered all requested items the following day with a smile! A new couch and more living room seating would improve this rental.

Perfect Family Getaway

The listing was exactly as expected/hoped. Pros:Location was perfect for us since we were there for multiple activities. Private pool bonus and everyone enjoyed the community pool with waterslides, bar, and more.Plenty of room inside for everyone, cleanliness was on point, and host was quick to respond to any issues.Stroller and playpen provided were nice and came in handy. Cons:Did not receive keypad code before arrival but was resolved quickly. Lost power for a few hours one morning, unfortunate but resolved and obviously out of the hands of the host.Needed a few additional kitchen tools/appliances but we ended up just buying those. Noticed that if we did not get back early enough to park that we were out a parking spot in our complex. Luckily it didn’t happen often.

Lacking basic necessities

The overall townhouse was nice but lacking so many basic things. The listing stated that there were pool toys, there wasn’t. Each of the 4 bathrooms only had about half of a roll of toilet paper, with no extras. Only half a roll of paper towels and one extra garbage bag. The townhouse only supplied one kitchen wash cloth and one hand towel. There were only 8 bath towels between the 4 bathrooms. We had to make multiple trips to the dollar store for toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels and laundry soap.

Great location but needs a MAJOR deep clean

The location was great, easy 20 min drive to Disney. The neighborhood pool and waterslides were a lot of fun. There was a problem with the pool at the house the day we arrived but it was fixed that evening and the contact person was very responsive. The condo is very sparse and in need of some maintenance and a deep clean. The dishwasher was broken and the smoke detector batteries needed to be changed so they chirped all the time. The contact person did not respond when I sent a message about those issues. It was annoying to have to hand wash dishes the entire week of our vacation, but those were minor inconveniences. The cleanliness was a big problem. Dirty beds, obvious bodily fluid stains on multiple beds and sheets. The walls, light switches and handrails on the stairs were absolutely disgusting. The carpet upstairs is so bad it feels crunchy under your feet. Definitely no walking around barefoot. The patio outside desperately needs a good pressure wash. I would stay in this complex again, but not this unit.

ONLY ADEQUATE some problems with "contact"

The house was adequate but the PROBLEM was that there was NO INTERNET CONNECTION AVAILABLE as advertised. I emailed, phoned and texted the "contact" and he never once replied to my messages. The kids were unable to connect their devices, the TV's were unable to connect to Netflix or Prime so only the living room TV had cable programing, and the adults were unable to connect to work resources. THIS WAS A MAJOR INCONVENIENCE FOR ALL OF US COMPOUNDED BY THE FACT THAT THE "CONTACT" NEVER REACHED OUT TO US OR RESOLVED THE PROBLEM. What was supposed to be a vacation became a frustration!

Recommend a cleaner better functioning unit

To start i had great communication with the host and he seemed generally concerned. However, the minimal pictures were not accurate as to current condition. Dishwasher did not work which I was notified before hand and he offered pool heat at a discount. he ended up offering pool heat for free but it kept shutting down during the stay. Fridge ice maker was broke and made an ice display in the freezer. Limited seating for a five bedroom house and dinning room chairs were in very bad condition. He changed out a living room chair while we were there. the carpet was soaked for first two days from them cleaning it. Carpet needs replacement, is pulling up in areas and very matted down. Batteries in door lock dead as door would not lock when you leave, so I replaced those. One bedroom blinds did not work. Curtain over doorwall bent/broken on one side. On the stairs a tack strip second stair from top is pointing through causing my daughter to cut her big toe open. Downstairs bathroom had a horrible smell the whole time we were there where we tried to avoid it. Toaster worked on one side and was finicky when it wanted to work. Kitchen supplies for cooking were minimal and we had to buy our own. Was told the unit had a bbq grill and it did not and they never brought us one. Only two metal chairs in pool area, definitely not enough for a five bedroom house. Would definiteky recommend up to date pictures of everything and to verify what has been fixed or replaced and what changes are done

Great Place!

We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of kitchenware for us to use. We do wish there were a few more trash bags, paper towel rolls, and hand soap but we made do with what we had. The pool was nice and warm like we had asked for. It was very clean and tidy. The hosts were extremely responsive and answered questions almost instantly. We would definitely stay here again!

House lacked basic supplies

The furniture was different than pictured and the house lacked basic supplies that you expect it to have such as hand towels, hand soap, flat sheets on the beds. There were bath towels, but only about 5 in a house that sleeps 12 people.

We wanted to love it

We came to visit Disney from Miami with some friends and their kids (total 8 - 4 kids and 4 adults). At first glance the house looked great! However, as we settled in we started to notice some issues. We loved that the house had 5 bedrooms, but didn’t realize 2 of the rooms were downstairs. Not a big deal, the 3rd bedroom upstairs had bunk beds so all kids could sleep together. The beds weren’t horrible, but not super comfortable either. The pillows were flat and felt old. There were no toiletries or items you would normally find in a house rental (ie: no toilet paper, paper towel, hand soap, garbage bags, barely enough towels). We reached out to the property manager and he quickly responded and refunded us some of our payment to go out and buy toiletries. The house definitely needed some TLC.. there were several kitchen cabinets off their hinges, 2 of the 3 shower doors didn’t close (the mess of water after bathing kids in a small half open shower was not fun). The one bathroom that had a tub wouldn’t drain (we bought drain-o, but it barely helped). The bathroom door in one of the rooms wouldn’t stay open, so we had to improvise to keep the door open. Half of the TV remotes didn’t work even though we bought batteries to thinking they were just dead. The most annoying part was probably the parking. Imagine coming home from being at a theme park all day to find out there is no parking in front of your house and you have to park 2-3 streets down with small kids. The proximity to the Disney parks was great, as we were about 10 min away and there was a Publix and restaurants very close. We really wanted to love the house, but it fell short in many ways. I hope the owners take some time to fix the issues, as it had great potential and could really be a great rental property.

We followed up with the homeowners, who would like to share this feedback: - We apologize for any inconvenience you felt during your trip, as our goal is to provide a relaxing experience for all guests. - We're glad that our property manager was able to help with the missing toiletries, and we are sorry that those were not available upon check-in. - We wish you would have notified our manager about these other issues, as they would have been happy to address each concern right away. - We will fix the bathroom door and the kitchen cabinet. We had a busy summer and were not able to make repairs with guests in the house, but we will be sure that all items are taken care of promptly. - The parking is, unfortunately, not something we can control. The resort does not assign spots, so it is always first come, first served. Thanks for letting us know about your experience so that we can improve. We look forward to hosting many more happy guests here!

Great Place!

It was great! We have stayed at Storey Lake before and wanted to again. PERFECT location and amenities! Property manager and owner are great to work with and communicate well! Willing to go above and beyond on meeting ones needs. Definitely will go back!

Vacation at Storey Lake

Great place to stay. 5 bedrooms gives plenty of room to sleep large groups. The 4 bathrooms are perfect to ensure that very few people need to share a bathroom. The small personal pool is perfect when you just want to relax. The water park is great for kids and teens and is included in the stay. Great location with a wal-mart and Publix Grocery Store only a few blocks away. Almost all the Kissimmee and Orlando attractions are in a 30 minute radius of this location

Great Home for Vacation

My family loved this home. It was large enough to host my family of 10. We stayed here for a week, upon arrival there was an issue with the AC but the guest contact Michael was super quick with addressing the issue. Would definitely recommend this home.
