Maison confortable offrant un calme paisible et rafraĂźchissant, situĂ©e sur un terrain boisĂ© de chĂȘnes blancs, avec 2 cheminĂ©es, une cuisine / salle Ă  manger rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e, une salle d'eau, une buanderie, un niveau supĂ©rieur avec climatisation et un jardin d'oiseaux. Remplissez simplement les mangeoires pour oiseaux et profitez de la variĂ©tĂ© et des chants. Prenez un lecteur de 3 km jusqu'Ă  l'entrĂ©e de la plage Lucy Vincent, 5 km de la plage de Squibnocket ou de Menemsha. Profitez de la Yoga Barn sur la route et du centre communautaire, de la bibliothĂšque, du bureau de poste, du TownHall et du magasin Chilmark pour dĂ©guster une pizza sur le porche, facilement accessible en voiture. Également Ă  proximitĂ©, visitez la nouvelle grange grise qui propose du lait cru et des viandes biologiques. Profitez de nombreux itinĂ©raires panoramiques pour la marche, le vĂ©lo, le jogging. Perfect Vineyard House

We had such a wonderful stay--this is the perfect up-Island Vineyard House. Very spacious and clean, with a large back yard and plenty of charm.

A home with wonderful character

My family and I have stayed in this home for four summer vacations. It has real MV warmth and character, as the art is all from local artists, and the style of the house is very comfortable for a family of six to live in (with a recently added full-size bunk bed it even could accommodate a larger family) . the house is also well maintained. There is a large deck to hang out on in the back yard as well as a large grassy area to play sports. This is a wonderful home for family or friends to rent.

Peaceful island getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! It is very secluded and very private surrounded by beautiful woods. A well equipped home with beautiful kitchen and new bathroom. You will surely enjoy your stay on the Vineyard with all that this home has to offer!

a delightful two weeks

House had beautiful artwork as well as one of the most well appointed kitchens I have ever seen. The backyard was lovely with four bird feeders - two thistle and two seed- off the deck and comfortable furniture to relax on. Hancock Beach a 2 mile bike ride away was exceptional. I will rent here again.

Perfect house for a family on vacatiion

This house was perfect for my husband, me, son and his new wife, and daughter with her boyfriend. The bedrooms were all large with lots of storage. There was great A/C, the upstairs large bathroom was renovated beautifully, and the amenities made our stay so much more comfortable. We loved sitting on the back porch watching the wild turkeys stroll in the yard and small birds eat from the feeders. The location of the house is centrally located on State Road so that traveling to most places is not an overly long drive. If we come back to the island next summer I think we will hope to get this home again.

Wonderful vacation home

Our family had a terrific experience at this home. It is located in a perfect area of Chilmark with much privacy. The house was very clean and fully equipped. We spent a lot of time on the large, lovely deck filled with beautiful plants. We would love to return to this property next year.

Absolutely wonderful!

Our stay on Martha's Vineyard was glorious, in large measure because of the gracious comfort of this lovely house. The hosts really provide everything you could wish for--an especially well-equipped kitchen, grill, TVs and AC if you are so inclined, internet, a wonderful library, games for the kids, laundry room, beautiful deck and yard, beach chairs, outdoor shower. Pnina (the owner) is a great communicator and was most helpful in every way. I can't say enough about our experience. Close to great restaurants, towns, Lucy Vincent Beach (though you need a beach pass.) A reasonable walk to Grange Hall and Alley's Store where there are events almost every day. No complaints at all!

A wonderful welcoming retreat, tremendous value

Can't say enough positive about this rental (and we've been all over the Vineyard for over 20 years). For peace and quiet, the location is perfect: secluded and private, but just a short drive off South Road. The grounds are beautiful: lovely plantings (including an impressive herb garden, generously available to dip into), big, comfortable deck, easy access to quiet walks. The kitchen is new, INCREDIBLY well equipped (best I've ever rented) stocked with ample and lovely tableware and quality staples. Great outdoor shower. The open floor plan downstairs is comfortable, plenty of furniture for spreading out, playing games, etc. The bathrooms are on the older side, but in fine condition -- this is definitely not a brand new house, but it is charming and super comfortable and, for the money, an amazing value. You can feel the care that the owners have put into creating a welcoming space....it is truly a special retreat.

Perfect

This house is ideal in too many ways to describe. From the outside in: great, quiet location off South Road (1.5 miles from West Tisbury Center, 3.5 mi. from Chilmark Store, 5 + miles from Menemsha); lovely grounds with flowers, butterflies and birds galore (the owners supplied enough bird seed to keep the feeders occupied throughout our visit); spacious deck with comfortable3 chairs/loungers and a nice combo of sun and shade; terrific kitchen with modern appliances, plenty of counter space, and great cooking tools, utensils, etc.; comfortable chairs around the kitchen table and in the LR; a well-stocked summer book library; plenty of storage space; excellent, firm beds; great outdoor shower; and so on. We arrived at the beginning of a hot spell but the ceiling fans and cross ventilation kept the house comfortable. A flat, easy walk (1.5 mi.) takes you to a gated ocean beach and Lucy Vincent, the public Chilmark beach, is a short drive away. The owners were great, easy to interact with, and gave us a few helpful suggestions that eased the transition. They spend time in the house and treat it as a "home," not a "vacation rental" - it is very well-cared for. My wife and I have traveled and rented homes across the USA and in Europe. It's fair to say that this house ranks among the best vacation homes we have ever enjoyed.

Absolutely Perfect Home Away From Home

The search for the perfect Vineyard retreat is over. Our family had the best vacation at this house. It is clean, well-appointed, in great shape and incredible comfortable. The location is perfect: far enough off the road to be private but also close enough to the best Vineyard beaches (Lucy Vincent and Squibby) and West Tisbury to be very convenient. The owners of this property couldn't be nicer and were clearly committed to making sure we had a comfortable and fun vacation. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a great family-friendly beach vacation in a comfortable home away from home.

Wonderful home and vacation

We had the most relaxing vacation we've had in years on Martha's Vineyard this summer. This home was perfect for our family. It's private, close to the beach, has a great yard, and truly feels like home. The house was immaculate and well-maintained. We ate most of our meals at the house and the kitchen had every utensil you need. The owners were wonderful. They were very organized, timely, and so nice to work with. If and when we return to MV, we will want to rent this place again! This place is perfect for getting away from it all!! KE
