Lovely home in tranquil setting. Comfortable living space and great for sleeping. Loved the walk to the village on the path, for sunsets, dinner, beach + access to Lucy Vincent. Excellent communication with the owner.
This house was comfortable, clean, private and well equipped. We spent hours on the deck enjoying the views to the water, the breeze and the wild turkeys walking through the yard. The walk down the road and across the marsh to Menemsha at sunset was glorious. The owner was quick to respond to all questions and made check-in very easy. We look forward to returning.
We enjoyed our time in this home, which has ample living space, spacious bedrooms, and numerous full bathrooms. It was wonderful to enjoy morning coffee on the deck of the master bathroom, with views of the Sound. We appreciated the proximity to Menemsha Beach, access and proximity to Lucy Vincent and Squibnocket beaches, and the up island restaurants. Communication with Bryan, the owner, was very easy and straightforward.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The three bedrooms each with its own bath made staying with our 2 adult children and their spouses very easy. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed to make lovely dinners with fish from Menemsha and vegetables from the farmers market. Views and sunsets from the terrace were lovely and we very much enjoyed being able to walk to Menemsha.
We enjoyed and appreciated greatly the beautiful and comfortable Beach Plum Lane home, including the open living and dining area, the well appointed and designed kitchen, and all amenities (AC; grill; etc.) The grounds are lovely. This is a great place for a wonderful vacation.
My husband and I enjoyed two weeks in this spacious, airy, light-filled house, during one of which we were joined by our daughterâs family, including a toddler and an infant. It was great having both the large open kitchen/dining/living area and some separate spaces (screen porch, decks off bedrooms, lower level). The setting is beautiful, the house was immaculate, everything was in good working order, and Bryan is a responsive, helpful host. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Lovely stroll to the beach from the house. Peaceful location and the house had everything we needed. Well-equipped and clean. Loved everything about it
I rented this house for my family, so while I did not actually stay at the property, I did visit frequently. First thing....the views exceeded our expectations! The interior and grounds were as described and meticulously cared for. My parents have not been to Martha's Vineyard since the 1980s and they were so excited to be so close to Menemsha. The beach path is an easy beautiful walk through woods, past farmlands, and then opens to the salt marsh behind Menemsha Beach. Bryan was communicative and answered all questions promptly. We could not have asked for a better experience.
Very stylish, spacious and uncluttered house--all that is there is beautiful and high quality,
loved the floors, the light, balconies and the wild turkeys nesting by. Proximity to the Chillmark tennis club; access to LV beach and to the nearby Beach Plum Inn for drinks on the terrace at sunset a big plus. .
Jennifer's (my wife) history on the Island goes back to the 70's when she would summer at her parents house in Chilmark. She grew up in Cambridge Ma. When I met Jennifer in the early 80's she introduced me to the life on the Vineyard from going to her parents house in Chilmark. I grew up in Brookline ma and I have been involved in Real Estate for over 20 years as I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker. My wife Jennifer and I purchased this property over 10 years ago from James Feiner. We did a complete rebuilding of the house over a five year span so we wouldn't loose a summer. We would stop work move furniture back in or out, it was crazy but that's how we chose to do it. Come and enjoy what we and our children have loved for years.
