Beautiful 9th floor unit w/ huge wrap around balcony providing panoramic ocean views. Featuring floor to ceiling windows / 2800 square ft / granite countertops in kitchen and all bathrooms / large roman tub and flat screen tvs! Brought to you by Luxury Beach Rentals, this 5 bedroom suite on the 9th floor is oceanfront and offers spectacular views of the blue Atlantic. This condo offers an oceanfront master bedroom with a king bed and access to the huge oceanfront wrap around balcony. The master bath offers granite counter tops, double vanities, a large Jacuzzi tub, a separate shower and a walk-in closet as well as tile flooring. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, the third bedroom offers a queen bed, the fourth bedroom offers 1 king bed with private balcony and the fifth bedroom offers one queen bed and one double bed. Other features include a new sleeper sofa in the living room, smart TVs in all rooms, full sized washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, this condo creates a large and spacious stay for you and your guests. The resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quiet family oriented section of the beach. Activities on site include the indoor and outdoor pool complex which includes a lazy river, 2 pools, 4 hot tubs and children's splash pool all overlooking the beach along with a fitness center and tanning lawn.

The accommodations were marvelous. I was disappointed with the pools and hot tubs not operational. The small thongs like a deck of cards and a puzzle were a huge success with the kids boredom with the rainy days.

The condo was amazing. Wonderful for a group of 5 women who have been best friends since 5. The beds were cozy, the location was nice. The only recommendation is to have more than 1 garbage bag for the kitchen, more toilet paper and paper towels. Perhaps some pods for the coffee maker and salt and pepper. Folks flying in can’t readily access these and there is nothing within walking distance to get these items. Small items, yes but would be nice if they were there. Also, beach towels. There weren’t any. But again, beautiful place. Would return.

Great Family Vacation!

We had a great time and the property was perfect for our family of 13. The lazy river was a favorite of our younger children and the seniors in our group. Maintenance was very responsive to our needs and concerns.

good trip

Excellent apartment for a family, great hotel and location. However, the mattresses are bad for those with back pain (I had to put them on the floor to sleep) and the internet didn't allow us to watch a movie as a family because the stream didn't connect. These are two negative details. but overall it was good.

The only thing that needs to be addressed is the mattress in the front bedroom with balcony access. The mattress does need to be replaced. I ended up sleeping in one of the secondary bedrooms. We will def be booking again. Thank you so much for keeping the property up to data and in such good condition.

This unit is beginning to show some wear and needs a little maintenance. There were new appliances in the kitchen and new flooring in the common area. The carpet in the Master BR was extremely stained and needs replaced or a major cleaning. The kitchen was missing serving dishes, but a large number of plates, bowls and silverware. Drinkware was minimal. The living area rug needs replaced.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you’re looking for an updated condo, this one isn’t. Great location, however but we were disappointed. Pics came out better online. The size was great for our group. Views were great. Although building maintenance was good and overall liked South Wind, I don’t think we would book the same condo. It didn’t feel clean, vents were filthy, dirt was piled into corners on bathroom floors, and carpets were badly stained and in major need of replacing. Patio furniture was not as what was pictured either, missing loungers on the deck and remaining patio furniture was desperately in need of an update. We are coming back in a couple of weeks and will look for a more updated place to stay. Management quick to answer questions, and seemed friendly.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoyed our stay. Some things that were broken in the room include the blender, both rocking chairs on the balcony, the air is set at a fixed temperature and for 10K I think I should be able to be comfortable...The front bedroom closest to the ocean was very hot. Maybe most importantly, the balcony rail was broken, Someone came to look at it but they could not fix any of the issues but if I owned this property I would prioritize this issue. As for the property as a whole I think the owners ( HOA) should consider handicapped people. The threshhold between the indoor pool and outdoor pool was riduculous. we watched so many people trip on that and there was a family with a handicapped and wheelchaired child. One person tripped and literally fell into the pool. Instead of steps to the beach, try a ramp. we had to go to other properties just for a mid day snack or treat for the kids there were no concessions that you would expect to find at a beach property. Honestly, the building was nice with those exceptions or imporvements. We will not be back just because it was not as kid friendly as we needed it to be

Pretty property, but fire hazard

It is a pretty condo, it is not safe for children, the stove knows turn the stove on if u just touch them and multiple times while in the kitchen cooking we had to turn the stove off. We had to make sure nothing was on the stove at all due to it turning on so easily

Outstanding views yet very disappointed in units conditions.

Let's start with a couple good things. The kitchen and living area have been updated and were in nice condition but this unit was severely lacking general maintenance and cleanliness. Master bedroom sliding glass door would not latch allowing wind noise continuously. There were so many vertical blinds missing on the master bedroom sliding glass door a sheet was hung up in front of the door for privacy. Multiple blinds missing throughout the whole unit. Toilet in master was not cleaned upon our arrival. Carpets and tile floors were filthy. At this price level I would excepted a whole lot more. Very disappointed. If you are looking for strictly views you have found your condo. If you are looking for a condo that is clean well maintained with a great view I would strongly suggest looking else where.

Pools were kept very clean however closed at 10pm and opened at 9 am.Lazy river was highlight for the kids however half the rafts were almost flat by noonNo restrooms in relation to the beach or the pool It was a mixed use building meaning it had permanent residents and rental units.Vending machines only worked halfway.Not bashing resort but for money spent fir a 5 bedroom unit in summer prime at almost $10,000 I would have expected a little more

Honest Review

For the insane amount of money we paid, I would expect a fully updated condo but this condo needs to be completely renovated from top to bottom including the balcony. I never felt “clean” in this condo. The building was outdated. The pools were very small and dirty. One day someone threw up in one of the pools and the next day the vomit was still floating in the pool. I was surprised at the number of cockroaches in the common areas. The hallways were sprayed for bug control during our stay but the cockroaches were always present at night. The cockroaches never entered the condo but they were on the balcony and in the hallways. The good points......the condo was spacious and it was nice for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom. The view from the family room and balcony was spectacular! The condo was in a good location with lots of things to do in the area including many good restaurants. I have very high standards and I thought the price tag represented luxury accommodations but this is not the case. I would not stay here again. I wish someone would have written this honest review before we stayed here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time. The view was beautiful and the location of the place is very close to activities outside of going to the beach. My only complaint is the blinds and the cleanliness. Pretty much all of the blinds were missing slats and in the one bedroom so many were missing we kept the lights off most of the time because the building next door could see in if they looked out their window. By the air vents you can notice they don’t get cleaned often as there is dirt and dust built up by the vents. Other then that it was a great place to stay. The pools and lazy river were an awesome perk as well.
