Lakefront Marina Studio

You can’t get a better location than this. Close to the lakefront and just a short walk or drive to the best of Queenstown, this modern studio is perfect for your Queenstown holiday.

It’s located on the lakefront, just a minute’s walk away from the popular Frankton Track and brand new marina. The walking and biking track winds along the lake’s edges, connecting downtown Queenstown with the residential Frankton area. Bus stops are close by, there’s a water taxi stop and ample shared parking spaces at this quiet apartment complex.

Just a short walk from the apartment is the historic Boatshed Café – a great place for you to enjoy a snack, sip coffee and watch the boats. Grown-ups will love Altitude Brewing, also a two-minute walk from the apartment. As well as a fantastic range of locally brewed craft beers, you can order pizzas and snacks from local takeaway restaurants to be delivered to the bar.

There is a communal washing machine/dryer under the carport for guest to use. This is an additional charge and only accepts coins. There is also a iron and ironing board in the apartment.

It has its own external door and a lockable internal door as well as a small fridge, microwave, coffee machine and slow cooker.

The room is located at the back of roadside building of the complex and there are 2 gas BBQ at the complex for guests to use.

Parking is free anywhere in the complex except for a few reserved parking spaces.

Please note this is not a lakefront room but has a view of the Remarkables from the window.

Fantastic stay

A great place to stay! Clean and comfortable with everything we needed, and communication with Vicky was easy if we needed. Being a little bit away from town so good for less traffic, but of course that meant not walking distance - didn’t bother us however :)

Ideal Location

My stay here was perfect in every way. Beautiful walking trails right outside that lead me to outstanding views. Handy to boutique restaurants on the water less that 200m from my door. Handy to the airport as well to main highways for us to explore. Highly recommend and will definitely book my next holiday here.

Superb location and very comfortable apartment

Great place to stay. We loved being so close to the Marina and the walkway/cycleway - easy access to Queenstown and the old Shotover Bridge in the other direction. The view of the Remarkables from the apartment is lovely and can be enjoyed over a meal. Super clean and comfortable and beautifully furnished.

Well sited. Easy access to bus to town (which was cheap), and also the water taxi (also reasonably priced). Room was clean and tidy. road noise was not an issue. Easy check in. Great room for one.

Property was alright for me however to much light at night, need blackout curtains. Also would have rather been further away from road due to heavy traffic noise, yes, understand main road so very busy.

Too far out

Apartment was comfortable. Good way out from city centre. It is on the bus line but it’s a need to know where to get off. Saying Marina Heights not enough. Limited information re coffee machine, floor heating, (we have no need for that luxury), local area map etc be most helpful for first time visitors.

Within walking distance to boat taxi to take you to Queenstown waterfront. Did not have lakefront view. Stairs (no lift) is difficult if you have mobility issues. Communication with host responsive and prompt. Easy entry to studio with keypad rather than key. Felt secure. Comfortable studio with great shower and bed. No sink other than bathroom one for doing dishes. Good free parking on site.
