The property was amazing! The views were absolutely stunning. Perfect location, about ten minutes away from downtown queenstown in a quiet neighborhood. So peaceful and tranquil!
A friend and I spent four nights here and loved every minute. The linen on the beds was superb! Crispy, clean and delicious! We had everything there we needed and the view out over the lake was fabulous. The cleanliness was ok but not top notchâŠ. for the extra cleaning cost we would expect it to be somewhat better. Floors not well cleaned and cobwebs about the place.BUTâŠ.. we really enjoyed our stay and would go back!
We were able to communicate easily with Geoff. The place had lovely views, was reasonably centrally located... easy to get around with car or uber, which suited us. There was enough space... and BONUS... TWO LOOS! We would stay there again, no problem.
Beautiful view in quiet neighborhood - perfectly situated half way to shopping of Frankton and the center of Queenstown.
But, the view of the mountains, great sunrises, and wonderful dusk colors are the true stars. Speaking of stars, on a clear night check out the cloud of the Milky Way.
Great self-contained cottage with everything you need to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Very responsive hosts!
We stayed a week at Geoffs house and we had the most fantastic time. The property has the best view we have ever witnessed from a house window. You can virtually see the whole of Lake Wakatipu with the planes taking off close by. The house had everything we needed and more. Geoffâs advice helped us to make the most of our stay.
We visited Milford Sound, Wanaka, Arrowtown, Cromwell races, went up the Gondola and did the luge ( fantastic) had a Ferg burger, did an evening cruise on TSS Earnslaw ( beautiful) , visited Altitude brewery, Glenorchy and Fracton. All were great experiences. Canât wait to return to Queenstown and will definitely will be returning to Geoffs. ( sorry about the broken glass)
Geoff's place was perfect for us. The view of the lake and the mountains and with the beautiful dawns, sunsets, reflections on the lake and easy access to grocery shopping all made the state great. Geoff even emailed a few times to check that everything was going well. The weather was great for our visit and we made trips to other beautiful areas near by. Downtown Queenstown is very crowded and parking is very hard to find. The main road is just below the rental so there is some noise but the benefits of staying here out way any minor inconvenience. Queenstown area is an expensive place to visit but it is possibly the most beautiful place and we have visited lots of wonderful places on this planet.

Place was okWi fi password did not work and even thou I tried could not communicate with Bookabatch or bach owner, so being self employed this caused me some issues and therefore lack of enjoyment
We really enjoyed this house. It had beautiful views and had great interior design and furnishings. We had very good communications with the owner. There were 2 flights of stairs - one to get to the entry door and the other to get to the bedrooms that were available for our use. Not so easy with heavy luggage. Overall I would recommend this accommodation.
The property was exactly what we expected. It had a real feel of a 'lived in' home. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and dishes. The crockery did not all match which give the house the real sense of a bach. One element in the oven was not working but we managed without. The freezer door had been left ajar at some time and the freezer was was completely iced-up, so much so that the door would not close properly but defrosting was not difficult. The living area is not large and the only comfy seating was the settee and bean bags. This did not bother us and we were really only in the house to eat and sleep.
The house was perfect for our family holiday. Beautiful views to wake up to each morning. Fully equipped kitchen, close to airport and Queenstown and The Remarkables and Cornet for skiing. Good heating, cosy house and had everything we needed. A couple of little things we were unsure of, but the host was quick with responses. Make sure you park on the road if you have a second car as we parked our daughters car hard against the deck not realising we covered the neighbours water access. Absolutely loved our stay and Geoffs House ticked alot of boxes for us. Definitely recommend if we visit Queenstown again we would definitely stay here.
This is one of the best properties I have been to for the price that was charged. Geoff the manager great to deal with. The location is handy and the views stunning, will hopefully return.
Really enjoyed our stay and the most amazing views where we watched the weather and the days unfold. Nicely located and easy to access local amenities. Ideal for a short break.
We enjoyed our stay here and wish it could have been longer. The house is well-equipped and clean with fabulous views of the lake and the Remarkables. Itâs a short drive or Uber ride into town. We even braved the hills and walked from town. We highly recommend this property.
We had such a wonderful time staying here - just close enough to enjoy queenstown without being in the midst of the noise and bustle. The heated floors in the bathroom were amazing!! And the views spectacular!!
