Great Beach condo, good location, loved the view from the porch- lagoon and alligator

Very clean and pretty decor. Proximity to beach and Coligny were the best selling points. I did love the back patio lagoon view.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Terrible, steps are to steep my husband and I both fell decks full of leaves. Couch and chairs was filthy dirty. Whole place needs to be remodeled. Beach chairs and wagon rusted and full of sand. Never be back.

Villa was very dated, a/c didn't work well in the master bedroom, shower leaked in master bedroom, very low water pressure. Umbrella on patio was broken. Sliding door leading to patio had a lock that was falling off and in constant need of tightening. Beds were comfortable and appliances worked well.

Thank you for your review. The owner of this villa is planning on doing updates to his villa and has address the issues with the air conditioner, shower head, lock on the sliding glass door and has also purchased a new umbrella for the table on the deck. We hope that you will consider renting this villa again.

Room for improvement

The rental was not cleaned before we arrived. We cleaned it before housekeeping services could make it back to us. The property managers were helpful in the process and apologetic. The hot water for the house would not last through two showers, so for the full household of 6 there were quite a few cold showers. The house is well stocked in all your kitchen and beach needs with a great wagon to help lug your items to the beach. The pool was close to the rental and with two pools at the complex it never felt too crowded. Overall, it’s a nice condo, close to Coligny, but a little ways from the beach with access to a bathroom at the beach.

Shortly after we arrived there were ants all over the kitchen. We left a message with the management company after hours, and our call was returned several hours after they opened the following day. They said they would reach out to the pest control company and send someone out to spray, but that never happened. We had to put all the food in the microwave and oven to keep the ants out of all opened food. Less than ideal

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this condo over Labor Day weekend and loved it! It is spacious, clean and furnished very nicely. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The condo is in the back of the complex but we walked a path through the buildings that went by the ponds and over some bridges and found it to be a very pleasant walk to the beach.(about 5 min) The only thing that might cause us not to stay here again is the fact that is was very warm in the condo for a full day and hot in the third floor bedroom which is the master. It took the thermostat 24 hrs to move from 78 to 70. After that the condo was comfortable for the rest of our stay. My suggestion to the rental company and or owner would be to turn the air on the night before new guests are to arrive. This would help the condo cool down faster. If that could be done then I would highly recommend this place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Villa was in good location to the beach and Cologny plaza. The Villa itself was not in good condition. It was dirty. Plenty of hair, sand and dust everywhere. The living room feel congested with extra furniture and decorations that doesn’t seem to have a purpose. If the owner can declutter it will look better. There were no storage to put away our grocery in the kitchen or living room. Every cabinets was filled with stuff.

Thank you for your review. I appreciate your feedback on the cleaning issues you encountered. We do contract out for our housekeeping services and will most certainly address the issues with the cleaning company. It is unacceptable to come into a villa and have the cleaning not be up to our expectations. We are scheduling the villa for a “deep clean”. In regards to the kitchen cabinets being filled, the owners wanted to be sure that their guests had everything they could need to be able to enjoy their stay in their villa. We do hope you enjoyed your stay while on the island. Hilton Head is certainly a beautiful spot to vacation. We hope to have you vacation with us again.

Eat Beach Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first visit to HHI and we were unfamiliar with the communities so chose this place based on availability. The unit is walkable to the beach (10 minutes) which was a real plus. The owners provided a cart to carry all beach items which was very nice. The unit also had two pools on site but the mosquitoes made it almost impossible to enjoy them. We also did not sit out on the deck due to the heat and mosquitoes but during the spring and fall I’m sure it would be lovely.The unit itself is spacious and the beds were very comfortable. As it is three levels, there are a lot of stairs to climb and the top level (master bedroom) was always warmer than the lower levels. We ran two fans (floor and ceiling) and slept comfortably.Overall, the unit kitchen needs a refresh. The toaster, frig and dishwasher all worked but had cracks and we couldn’t get the ice maker to work which was fine since we bought a bag of ice. Along with the stove, they should be replaced.Tvs all worked great and table for 6 in dining area was perfect size. The sofa has seen better days and was covered with a slipcover. Bedrooms were spacious and baths while dated, worked fine. We found the drapes cumbersome; the blinds were much better.The location was good. Easy to walk, bike or drive to local eating spots, groceries and other beaches. We were surprised we had to pay to drive to see the lighthouse but that was the only surprise. We enjoyed delicious food, beaches, Celebration playground and shops during the week. A nice visit.

There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and made my daughters high school graduation trip memorable. It was a close walk to the beach and the pool was just around the corner. We loved the beach chairs, wagon, and shovels for the beach as an added bonus.

Great condo and very well stocked. A ton of little extras that made it a great place. A little further from the beach than expected, but a rolling beach cart worked well.

A week at the Seascape, HHI

Due to COVID the condo units were not full. The reception staff was adequate and helpful. The unit was clean & comfortable. It was well stocked with supplies. Our unit had 3 floors. The kitchen appliances were old. The dishwasher door was cracked at the top and the lower rack had no rollers,. It just fell out the oven on to oven door. We didn’t use it. The outside finish of the appliances has been touch-up painted, which was obvious. When we arrived we could not open the front door. It was impossible to open. I tried butting the door with my shoulder/upper arm and bruised my upper arm. We called the front desk and reported the problem. A maintenance tech came by and sprayed the metal facings with a lubricant which helped a couple of days,. Toward the end of the week it was apparent that someone had fixed the door while we out. WHEW. We had a bit of an unpleasant door problem, but we had a good vacation. JM
