Townhome style with lagoon Views!

You'll be glad you chose this large villa with its many updates and easy walk to the beach! Updates include new flooring throughout, beach-contemporary furniture and paint along with a completely updated primary bathroom!

The primary bedroom is large and includes a king bed, HDTV and an en-suite primary bathroom. The primary bathroom is nicely updated with its custom two-sink vanity and large custom-tiled walk-in shower.

The remaining two rooms, the guest bedrooms, include a room with two queen beds and another with one queen bed. The first guest bedroom with two queens has an en-suite bathroom that includes a tub and shower combination. The remaining guest bedroom with one queen has an en-suite guest bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you'll need for a homecooked meal. The kitchen pass-through looks out to the dining area. The formal dining area comfortably seats six guests. Additional seating for four is found at the kitchen bar/pass-through!

Outside on your private screened-in deck you can take in sweeping views of Palmetto Dunes' 11 mile lagoon system. Several seating options will be available.

Huntington is situated on the 11 mile lagoon system in Palmetto Dunes and is across the street from the beach. This complex offers a large complex pool (heated seasonally), hot tub and community dock over the lagoon. Guests are close to everything that Palmetto Dunes has to offer – golfing, tennis, fishing and miles of bike paths.

Villa refresh looks nice but lacking in quality workmanship

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The villa was recently refreshed (new paint, floors, kitchen countertops and appliances) but the quality of workmanship is sub-par for Palmetto Dunes. The painters left wallpaper behind the toilet tanks in two of the bathrooms and painted around many switch plate and receptacle covers instead of removing them before painting. One of the upstairs bathroom fan/light units was new but did not work) The HVAC unit and ductwork were replaced but remnants of the old ductwork (and other debris) was left behind and visible under the villa. Workers were refreshing another villa two doors down and left a mess in the landscape next to our Villa when washing their painting and tile laying tools. Every morning the landscapers came through for 30 minutes to an hour with unusually loud leaf blowers.

Reviewer Comments: We have found that the location and the footprint of this property works well for us. Roberta from the front desk Visitor center was very helpful in facilitating the resolution of our concerns. It was difficult at times to connect with Cindy our rental agent, but she was responsive when she got back to us. The porch is a lovely space which we were not able to use...the porch furniture looks very tired-the wicker furniture is torn-and the cushions appear to be the wrong size for the chairs and couch. The 2-seater couch is metal and is rusted.The first floor AC system shorted out 3-4 weeks ago, had a temporary fix by Superior Services, but despite numerous messages to them from Roberta, has not yet been fixed. There were multiple light bulbs which were out and had to be replaced by Paul from Property management, who was very helpful during multiple visits. Again, special kudos to Roberta.....thanks you, Vic and Susie Pisanelli

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was bad the floor was soft in places the floor sink down about 2 inches. Call about this problem twice and no one came to see about it. The outlet in the upstairs two bathroom did not work. I call on this issue and came out and did not fix the problem. This was the 6 times staying at Palmetto Dunes. The house was dirty at the kitten tops had food on it. The tv remote control was sticky we had to clean it. Overall, the place was not ready for someone to stay in.

We needed assistance with the TV cable set up on Superbowl Sunday and someone came out right away. Very cozy, nice view from the screened in back porch. Very convenient to tennis, biking, walking.

Got away from the winter for 2.5 weeks. The unit we rented was well stocked but really needed some updating and work. Clearly had a water issue as the floors in the kitchen and family room were loose and spongy. Stove should be replaced. The unit was quiet where it was located. Beds comfortable and overall unit clean.

Place was perfect size and accommodated everyone that needed separate bedrooms with private bathrooms. Location was perfect for access to golf courses. Place was clean and supplied with sufficient linens and towels. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and dish ware. Only issue was that there were no condiments or coffee filters.

Beach access was not ideal if you are taking a lot to the beach but was still close enough and was described as a 5 minute walk when booking. Upstairs bath was slightly dirty and disappointing to have to clean when you first walk in but overall was a great place to stay. Bring bug spray!!
