Great location

The cottage was very nice. It was well furnished and clean. There are two queen beds in the bedroom, but the sleeping arrangements in the living room are not the best for adults. It's basically a couch. The location is great, near Parsons Beach, Wells and Kennebunk. I would stay there again.

Cozy Cottage

Listing was as described. Plenty towels, linens, kitchen dishes etc. Welcome book provides local attractions and recommendations which we took advantage! Great location town it Wells.

Girls weekend

Our second annual girls trip. Our spot last year was taken so we tried this. It was definitely smaller than it seemed in pictures, but was beautifully taken care of and still had plenty of room for three adults.

Lovely accommodations and short walk to the beach!

The property was well designed, just about everything you’ll need for a long weekend. We stayed Thursday-Monday. Just enough cooking pots pans etc. for a family of four. Some of the tops were missing from the pots but we just put a pan on top so no problem. The shower was excellent plenty of hot water for all four of us, the beds were very comfortable. The couch was not so comfortable luckily my daughter brought a blowup Mattress to sleep on. The place was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We enjoyed ourselves very much it was a wonderful base for us to head north or south in Maine and to relax a couple days at Parsons Beach which is only a short walk. We loved it It will probably be back! Thank you very much!

Kennebunkport cottage

Lovely cottage. Modern, immaculate and bright. Community in ground pool and grills. Close to so many attractions.

A great cabin in a fantastic location.

This cabin was perfect. Beach access road was across the street. If you arrive earlier in the day, there’s parking at the nearly private beach across the street but it’s only about 1/3 of a mile walk if the handful of parking sites is full at that beach. It even has a porta potty at that beach. Driving to drake island beach was easy and had plenty of parking close if you’d rather be on a more crowded beach. Beds were comfortable, good kitchen and necessary supplies, and a nice bathroom and shower. The pool was nice along with cornhole game area and firepit which had firewood (just bring a fire starter log or fatwood!) We would definitely stay here again.

Not what was advertised

The cottage that was online was not what I got. super crowded parking. No screens in sliding door,broken falling out screen on front door. cottage wasn’t ready at 3 pm per check in 2.5 hrs later was ready. TV only riki no cable to even see local news. no directions on how to use things. Would not recommend

Great house, terrible view

The cottage itself is great! It is clean and equipped wonderfully. They maximized the space perfectly! The owners were super responsive which was greatly appreciated! It was also VERY dog friendly which we were worried about given that dogs aren’t allowed on the grass around the property. There is a specific fenced in area with doggie bags available for all guests which was awesome! Location wise, it couldn’t be better. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach down a quaint farm road! The only reason we wouldn’t say this house is five stars is the property that it is on. The view from the couch is a decrepit house that is in dire need of repairs. Behind the cottage area old fridges and junk. If you are able to look past this, then you’ll it here!

Lovely Modern Cottage

We loved this cottage! With our dog. Modern kitchen and bathroom with jacuzzi tub and 2 sinks. 2 double beds. Large table and Roku TV. Air conditioning and heat. Private deck with table and chairs. We went preseason, so we did not use any common ground areas, but walked to Parsons Beach every day with dog. Lots of restaurants and Nubble Light House near by. Will come again! Host was extremely responsive. Place was immaculate.

Lovely cottage walking distance to beach

Fresh modern cottage#36. private deck. Double sink bathroom with jetted tub. Roku TV. Heating/cooling system. We went pre season, which works for us. Therefore, preseason work was being done on the property communal area. We loved Parsons Beach. Great food in the area. Responsive host. Highly recommend. There are 2 Queen beds on the bedroom and a pull out in the living area. Table for 5.

Shorelands Resort #36

Great little dog friendly house. Very cute and tastefully decorated with everything we needed. However there were two issues. The first being that the bathroom has two doors. One of the doors is a sliding barn door that does not lock. This became a big problem when the dog would investigate and push the door open with her nose. Not a great situation in terms of privacy. The second issue is that there was no washer/dryer either in the unit or shared, despite being advertised as having one. Make sure to bring enough clothes for your entire stay.

Difficult customer service, but great location.

I had an incredibly difficult time getting basic questions about the property answered...what type of construction was being done, do I need to bring linens, etc. Otherwise, the property itself was exactly what we were expecting and what we were looking for. We had a great time!

Great location!!!

This cottage has a terrific location with a short and pretty walk to Parsons Beach and the mouth of the Mousam River. It was a very short drive to Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells, and Ogunquit. It is small but cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The unit was clean and neat. The kitchen had good appliances and all the basics. The whirlpool/shower unit was nice though we did not try out the jacuzzi feature. We noted small negatives. The sofa was not very comfortable to sit on. There is a chicken coop nearby and the rooster crows fairly early. Fortunately, the bedroom seemed very quiet. Overall, we had a terrific time here and the cottage was a great home base to explore the area.

Wonderful

We loved this cottage. Stayed 2 nights in July, in unit 36. Comfy beds, clean, plenty of towels, amazing jacuzzi tub, great kitchen, and I could keep going on. Vacasa was easy to work with. Thank you!

Joy @ Parsons Cottage

We really enjoyed staying at Parson’s Cottage. The owners were helpful and friendly, and the cottage was clean and had everything we needed! After a day playing with the kids, I appreciated the jetted tub, and climbing into cool sheets in a darkened room to sleep the night away.

Summer getaway

The Cottage was located between Wells and Kennebunk. Easy to get everywhere. Can walk to Parsons Beach and to the Bridal Path. Quiet and just enough space for what we needed. Nicely painted, good heating/cooling system, huge fridge/freezer, great little deck. Bonus was the beach parking pass. Highly recommend Shorelands for a stay with a dog. Only downsides: Dining room chairs were uncomfortable (we used the deck chairs), microwave is tiny.
