Barwon Cottage

Renovated cottage on large fenced block. Upstairs you will find a large queen bedroom. Downstairs is a bathroom 2 toilets with spa bath overlooking a fernery and large walk in shower, as well as an open plan fully contained kitchen with dining and lounge. Full size fridge dishwasher microwave oven and cooktop complete the kitchen. Washing machine and dryer in separate laundry. Large smart tv and free WIFI. Quality furnishings and linen throughout the home ensures you have a wonderful time away and you can even bring your dog! Have a relaxing bath and chill by the gas log fire after dinner out at one of the many restaurants in Barwon Heads within a 3 min drive or 15 min walk. Netflix and Stan available on smart TV. Your dog will have complete freedom to move around the property with the front fence high as shown on photos. The house is warm and cozy in winter, perfect for a romantic getaway or cool in summer with ceiling fans and air conditioning. Please note the only bedroom upstairs does not have air conditioning and can get very hot. It has a ceiling fan.

Perfect short stay with our pets

We had a lovely time at this property, our dogs loved the large, fenced yard, and it was close enough to walk to the main street.

Great house for a quick break

Brilliant house, with even better space for the pooch. Best shower I’ve ever had at a short term stay, everything there that we needed. Absolutely recommended.

A perfect getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at your cottage- it was beautifully decorated, wonderful facilities (in particular the bathroom with the relaxing garden out the window) and a big secure backyard for our dog to run around in! We will be back again! Thank you for a providing a great home away from home!

A little gem

What a great property- within walking distance to the Main Street where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast with our dog. The property was perfect, plenty of space for 2 adults and a furry friend. It was equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t use the spa bath during our stay but will return some other time for a longer stay. Our dog was also very relaxed which makes for a great stay.

Long weekend

Lovely presented cottage in quiet location with all the amenities we needed including plenty of yard space for dogs to roam. Approx 25 mins walk to Hitchcock street cafes, shops etc. We absolutely loved our stay.

Ben’s comfy cottage

Clean, convenient, nice feel to the main living area and secure yard for dogs. We always relax there and totally enjoy our stay. Very well appointed furnishings; kitchen and bathroom. We’re already planning our next visit!

Lovely cottage in Barwon

Clean and tidy, well appointed, had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, second time around. It was cold so we welcomed the excellent gas heating which warmed the house. Our dogs enjoyed the spacious and secure yard.

Pet friendly long week-end getaway

Ourselves and our elderly dog enjoyed ourselves. Excellent secure yard, quiet neighbourhood and very comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. We walked to shops, river and beach. Very happy with our stay. Would go back again. Excellent value for money.

A relaxing getaway for golf, fishing and beach

My husband, kids, dog and I had a wonderful 5 days, 4 nights getaway at Jackie’s place. It was relaxing and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was very close to the river, town centre, beach and golf courses. The neighbourhood was very quiet which added to the relaxation. A highly rated place if you are after a getaway by the sea. A wonderful getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ben’s cottage. It was in such a great location to discover beautiful Barwon Heads but also a great base for day trips to the surrounding area. The cottage is filled with light and beautifully decorated. It’s cozy and spacious at the same time and we really felt like we were at home. Our two dogs also loved it, particularly exploring the large garden. Everything was spotlessly clean and Jackie is a fantastic, responsive host. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Home away from home

Really comfortable place to stay with every thing you need. The spa was really nice. I didn’t take too much note when booking the queen bed as it was up stairs while toilets downstairs. But I managed. Next time I’d book ground floor bedroom

Bens cottage is the cutest small home you'll ever stay at. Its clean, beautifully presented inside and when you walk in you will feel like your on holidays straight away. I have spent a lot of time in the cottage so it has everything you need, the fully fenced yard is perfect for your dog and dog friendly beaches are not far away. We have the river at one side and the beach at the other to pick from and a cute little street with great shops. Great ocean road not far away.
