The pet area was wonderful and my dog loved it. The yard is dog proof, but with the view, she could see for miles! The accommodation is lovely and very thoughtfully appointed. Think luxury with a hillside view and plenty of outdoor space to sit and unwind.

Ideal Cozy Retreat with Dream Views

Myself, my partner Gerard and our dog Loki all had the most wonderful week at this gorgeous location, where everything exceeded our expectations.Tracey & Michael are honestly the type of hosts you wish for - any communications or requests were met immediately, whilst our privacy was Always respected. You don't even know you're sharing a property, unless you ask to socialise - which we highly recommend as both are very interesting people with alot of local knowledge - they were lovely company.Loki had the time of his life! The yards are very well designed for dogs to sniff and explore freely and safely. We got along great with the resident pups, Molly & Rupert, who are both fun sociable characters.We especially enjoyed the huge deck area and firepit, which take full advantage of the most beautiful views.Enjoying our morning coffee or using the BBQ, whilst overlooking mist-filled valleys, local Wildlife and pristine forests was certainly a highlight of each day. The views are like being in a living painting of the most peaceful landscape one can imagine.The apartment itself spares no luxury or attention to detail, we felt immediately at home. The kitchen is easy to use, the living areas are well sized and the luxury bathroom, including heated flooring, is an excellent feature.We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay and will definitely be back. There's been talk since of making it a regular trip, to detox and recharge from City life, in this country oasis.

What a beautiful find! Though it is an apartment, it has the quality of a real swanky cottage getaway. Having access to the entire back garden gave us room to breathe, serenity and privacy — not to mention ample room for our wandering dog to move around safely. The covered terrace is a delightful extension of the living space, which itself is clean, beautifully decorated and well furnished. The bathroom is immaculate and luxurious — the heated floors and towel rack are a thoughtful touch! Our only complaint was finding out after booking that pets were not allowed on the furniture inside and out — it’s an understandable rule for longevity of the space, but it made for an added stress we weren’t expecting from a pet-friendly accommodation. I would also recommend any future guests to bring a towel to clean your animal’s paws, the moist red dirt of Bridgetown clings fast! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Bridgetown is worth spending time in — we went on three gorgeous walks, a kayak down the river, and enjoyed perusing all the artisanal goods to be found!

Had a fabulous time In Bridgetown

The property had everything we were after other than a fireplace but the heating from the large air conditioner was excellent and the under floor heating in the bathroom was really good as it was cold and wet when we visited. The hosts were amazing and stopped and chatted and told us about the property and places to see, we could have our little dog with us, had a fabulous weekend getaway and the views were breathtaking. Thanks Tracey and Michael.

Absolutely wonderful!

WOW! We absolutely loved our weekend getaway. The welcome message and instructions we clear and easy to follow. The property was even better than the photos. Very well appointed, spotlessly clean and incredible comfortable. Fantastic setup for privacy and for our dog with the layout maximising the gorgeous view. We didn’t want to leave!

Tranquil with a Delightful Vista

Had a lovely stay here. It’s an easy drive to town and lovely to come out here and enjoy the sitting by the fire pit looking over the valley and river. The apartment had everything we needed. And the heated towel rail and underfloor heating in the bathroom is a touch of comfort.

The accommodation was very well thought out. It was raining during our stay and it was a comfortable place to relax with a wine, movie and board game. It has all the amenities you would expect for a nice stay and we loved being able to bring our dog along on our weekend away.

Every kind of beautiful

This is a perfect little apartment! The setting is so serene, the apartment is beautifully appointed and the kitchen has a portable induction stove top, airfryer and toaster in the drawers as well as the microwave and coffee machine. Sitting outside in the egg chair in the morning, gazing on the hills as the mist slowly lifts and birds fly past, is heavenly.

Spectacular

I've travelled a lot, but have to say hands down this is the best property I have ever stayed at. It is so well equipped for everything you would need for a mini staycation. Comfortable, modern and the view is incredible. A wonderful place. My only suggestion would be to get a dehumidifier as it will get quite steamy in the winter. My only disappointment was with the town being closed. Most restaurants have had to close down so please be mindful of this and bring your own food.

We moved to Bridgetown 6 years ago and wish to share our experience with others. My husband is a full-time award winning artist who on request can give art lessons to our visitors.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our gardens are lovely especially in spring, summer and autumn and the views are second to none. The apartment is brand new and has great appliances and luxury bedding. Our corner of Bridgetown is surrounded by nature with Kangaroos and Kookaburras on the doorstep. Just down the road is a beautiful lake that is accessible all year round for walks and swimming. Bridgetown has some wonderful unique shops in town and a good selection of eateries. Happy to source local hampers and wines on request.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

As dog owners we know how difficult it is to find accommodation that will allow pets which is why we are happy for you to bring your dog. We have drinking and food bowls but you must bring a leash and bedding. For pets safety while outside the enclosure please leash your dog if they have a tendency to run away. We do have a yard your dogs can run around in but they must be trusted with other dogs and people as this is a shared space. We do not accommodate other pets unfortunately.

Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets both within and outside the property. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds.
