we had a wonderful family vacation!
We loved the location! The house is very spacious and the terrace is beautiful. The house itself is a little outdated and it could use a new bbq. regardless we had a wonderful time and would rent again......
The house was perfect. Walking distance to both Gondola 1 and Eagle Bahn. The house had character and fit our group perfectly. Plenty of bathrooms so no one was fighting for space.
Great kitchen/living area and the deck with a hot tub was great too. We would stay here again for sure! The only downfall is the amount of steps in the house coupled with the thin air. This place is 5 STARS!!!
Great location, within walking distance of the Vail shops and restaurants.
Home is spacious and accurately depicted. We had seven family members present during our stay. With the bunk room, home would easily handle 15 or more. The home would’ve warranted 5 stars, but we had difficulty with a dishwasher (one of two dishwashers in the large kitchen) and a few of the windows were difficult to open and close. Overall, very nice rental, very responsive management, great hot tub and very large deck.
Excellent location with lots of space!
We loved our stay at this well-located large home in Vail. It is a short walking distance to the Lion's Head gondola and to Vail Village. (Once you get there you would not need a car - it's a $12 Uber ride to Safeway) We've stayed an several VRBO's across the country so have some comparison properties. The beds are very comfortable with great bedding. There are working TV's in every bedroom. Wifi was great! The house was very clean! The cleaning staff picked up and made beds every day which was a nice perk. Lots of accessible wood for the wood-burning fireplace and wildlife outside that was delightful to watch! The hot tub was hot and working but very small for the number of people the house accommodates. (Max 4 adults). The kitchen may have been recently remodeled but the rest of the house is quite dated. (It would be fabulous with a remodel..). The only drawback is that the living/gathering room seats only 6-8 people and not really comfortably. (no ottomans or space to put your feet up). If you have trouble with stairs this is not the house for you....multiple levels with multiple stairs. You must go up three flights to reach the mail living area! The dining table does seat 10 people comfortably and the kitchen is well-stocked with pots/pans/dishes/glassware/silverware. (No crockpot and no griddle for pancakes). Drip coffee pot. Nice toaster. Great refrigerator with filtered ice water inside.
In summary - I do highly recommend this house in Vail. You can't beat the location and as long as you are okay with its few drawbacks......you will not be disappointed.
The house was perfect for our weekend!
What a beautiful place, with everything we needed, and an ideal location. The kitchen was well appointed with tools for cooking away from home, even a cast iron skillet and large, gas grill. Location is ideal for hiking in non-winter weather, and under a half mile to restaurants and shops at Vail Village.
