2 beautiful newly remodeled 3 season cabins located on Spider Lake on the Manitowish Water Chain of 10 Lakes. The first cabin is a charming 3 bedroom and 2 bath and the second cabin is 1 bedroom and 1 bath. Both cabins sleep12 comfortably and are right next door to one another.
Both cabins welcome guests into a charming kitchen with updated cabinets and appliances. The living room and bedrooms are warm and bright with natural light and gorgeous wood floors.

Perfect Family Getaway

The house was clean and ready for us at check in. The property sits on a cove off Spider Lake, no wake area. The house has a private pier that is in great shape. There was plenty of space for our family of 6. The property manager is wonderful and so helpful. We love spending our vacation at this home.

Very nice cabin

Very clean and nice cabin. Very well equipped will everything you need for worry free stay. The location is perfect right in the middle of chain and in close proximity to town. Historical Voss lodge near by was a pleasant surprise as well.

Rental of the Birches Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All was well except we would have liked access to a local TV News Station either Wausau or Green Bay. Instead of towel hooks in the bathrooms towel bars would be helpful in drying the towels. Everything was very neat and clean and appropriately stocked with essential items. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Family Vacation in the Northwoods

Clean, updated cabin with great access to the MW Chain. Other rentals nearby, but still secluded with your own space for fires, dock access, and parking. Convenient distance to marina and boat landing. Cabin is as advertised. Roomy with all the essentials. Clean upon arrival, and the ceiling fans and window AC units are a bonus. Our family really enjoyed our time there alone and with some friends. Private dock to secure your boat. Great week for our family.

Home away from home

We had such an amazing stay! The home was exactly as described. We had 2 adults and 4 kids and it was the perfect size for us. The location is great for boats and the kids loved swimming off the pier. I would highly recommend booking this home. We absolutely loved it. There was Wi-Fi and air conditioning so we were comfortable during our stay. Thank you!!

They are located on a quiet bay just minutes from the pier and all the lakes. The cabins are beautifully updated and have everything you could ever think of that you might need. It is obvious that a lot of attention was paid to the details that make a stay exceptional.

cabin review

This was a very nice place in Wisconsin on the chain of lakes. It had a small dock but good for tying up a boat and fishing. It was close to other cabins, but positioned so you felt like you were alone. The air conditioners might be a little weak if you get a hot week, but evenings are usually cool up there.

Great Stay

The property and amenities were exactly as described on the posting. Location on the water was great! Property manager was easy to reach and informative. We had a great week - of course, it went by way too fast as always! We had the space and items we needed. Only feedback which is already noted in the reviews, the driveway and parking for a boat trailer is tight! very difficult to turn in driveway with a trailer and parking the trailer.

Amazing Property!

This is the second year staying at this location. It is located on a calm bay just off Spider Lake. Very clean and recently renovated. Plenty of room and good internet for the kids after a long day on the lake. My only critique and a minor one would be that there are no towels and no washer and dryer. Other properties in the same price range have them. Again, we love staying here and would highly recommend it. There are cabins near by but we rarely saw the people staying there and it was very quiet. Sit back, relax, enjoy the sunsets and views of the Milky Way!

Located on Spider Lake in the Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes sits this perfect cottage with dock access! Newly updated and clean! Really appreciated the host checking in with me to ensure our stay was meeting expectations. Highly recommend!

Nicely remodeled and spacious

We had two families of four and the accommodations worked well. We were able to keep our boat by the dock and had great access to the lake. Kitchen was stocked well and beds were comfortable.

No central air

Listing stated air conditioning, but it was a small window air conditioner in each of the bedrooms only. One of them did not cool much at all. Unfortunately, our visit was over an exceptionally hot week, so we were not happy. Also, the toaster kept smoking, so we had to plug it in outside and make toast out there!

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Birches. The cabin was immaculate and well provisioned with kitchen dishes, cookware, utensils etc. Towels are not provided but I would suggest that because there is no dishwasher, it would be nice to supple a couple of dish towels as most people would not think to pack those. The views of the lake were wonderful and the dock was convenient. The office staff was very helpful. On the downside, the internet was so slow that we could barely check our email and the TV did not work as a result. The biggest problem was the driveway to the cabin which is very narrow and comes sharply off of Hwy 51. The boat trailer was impossible to turn around. while hitched to the car. As much as we liked the cabin, we would probably not stay here again based on the driveway and the inability to safely park the trailer.

Nice Rental

We had a nice time at this rental. We've been coming to Manitowish for over 20 years. This is a great location on Spider Lake. We used the boat dock, which was nice. The drive into the property is very narrow with lots of tall trees on either side, so do not drive up to the house with a boat trailer. This property is so close to Greer's Pier, that we could walk to / from, which was a very nice benefit. Though not an issue for us as it was Memorial Day weekend, but the sunroom does not have heat, so if there is a cold night or morning, the sunroom is cold. The floor heaters are only in the 3 bedrooms and living room. We kept the living room high so some of the heat could get into the sunroom. The place is decorated so nicely, a more modern, Florida beach house vibe. I would recommend the owners not asking guests to vacuum upon leaving, as the guests are paying a cleaning fee. Also, instructions ask to put dishes in the dishwasher and run it, but there is no dishwasher. Hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, and a relevant amount of toilet paper and paper towels are provided. There are no hand or shower towels, so bring your own. Thank you for a lovely stay.
