Welcome to Greenbrier Chalet, the perfect dog-friendly vacation rental home in Gatlinburg, TN! This inviting three-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat is nestled on Ski Mountain, offering easy access to Ober Mountain resort, downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the majestic Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Step inside, and you'll discover the heart of this charming chalet on the main level, where an open-concept layout welcomes you. Sink into the comfortable furnishings of the living area, warmed by a cozy wood-burning fireplace and a generously sized TV. The adjacent kitchen, fully equipped for the chef in your group, invites you to stay in and cook (just remember to bring your groceries). Gather around the nearby dining table, the perfect spot for enjoying meals or engaging in lively game nights with family and friends.

Additionally on the main level, you'll find a king bedroom and a full bath, providing convenience and comfort. Step out onto the main level deck, where you'll find inviting seating and a soothing hot tub—the ideal remedy for soothing your aches and pains after a day of adventure in the area.

Descend to the lower level, where a cozy den awaits, complete with a bumper pool/poker table for hours of entertainment. Two more queen bedrooms are on this level.

Throughout the property, you'll find five Smart TVs equipped with streaming apps (just bring your login credentials). Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi for those who need to mix work with leisure, and take advantage of the washer and dryer for your laundry needs. Additionally, a gas grill is available for those moments when a cookout in the fresh mountain air feels just right.

Guests of this Gatlinburg chalet rental have access to three clubhouses, the closest to Greenbrier Chalet being the Upper Alpine Clubhouse, which has a large outdoor pool, a wading pool with a fountain (for youngsters), showers/changing rooms, and a game room with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, video games, and chess/checkers.

Great place to stay

Our family really enjoyed this chalet. It was clean, spacious, and pretty much had everything we needed for our stay. The location was just minutes from everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend this place for a family to stay during their vacation.

The cabin was great for our family but would be very difficult for a family with young children or older adults. There are lots of very steep stairs and the railing on the upper deck is very loose. I would also want a car or truck able to make the very steep drive.

Great Stay on the side of a mountain!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: City girl here! Didn't realize the cabin was on the side of a mountain with treacherous twists and turns to arrive! That being said, after we arrived everything was great! However, we always tried to return home before dark since the roads are scary and not well lit at night.Perfect space for family of 5 and ability to bring our dog was a plus. Only issue with dog was that there was not a lot of flat grass areas to walk the dog (but obviously not the owners fault).Brand new jacuzzi was a nice surprise and management was helpful and responsive. Perfect location for Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge activities.We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Had a great time! Lots of bears came by to visit after using the bbq grill. They were not aggressive. Needs a new mattress on the full bed. Daily linen exchange was nice too.

Comfortable and Clean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Chalet was clean and very comfortable, loved that TV's were in all bedrooms. One thing I would add to the "need to bring list" is kitchen hand soap. We tried to vacuum some before we left but vac didn't pick up well and the grill was out of gas. If you are older or have some trouble climbing stairs this isn't the rental for you. The main living area was upstairs and the steps were quite steep. We took our Aunt/Uncle and they found it challenging. The location was perfect to anything you would want to do. We did see a bear one morning so be sure to leash and monitor your pets. Only feedback for check in was took about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged guy was on phone. It was a nice stay, comfortable, beautiful dishes by the way and clean. Thanks for sharing your Chalet!

The main living area is on the upper level and each level has its own entrance/exit to the decks and then to ground level. Chalet is comfy and spacious, it accommodated my family perfectly. It is located near the top of the moutain but nestled on the side. not much of a view but private and peaceful. I also liked the vicinity to the main strip downtown and entrance to the national park. Booking online was easy. The ladies providing customer service at the office were welcoming and thorough. They called during our stay to see if we needed anything. We had a good experience and would recommend.

Pretty...but needs changes.

Great location from town. Driveway is very steep. I don’t recommend low profile vehicles going up and down the drive. The cabin would be great...but there’s zero fans in any room. Therefore, the cabin in the summer is uncomfortably hot and the central air couldn’t keep up during the day time. The cabin would reach 80 degrees during the day with the air on. And maybe get to 72 degrees at 11-12pm. So, if the property owner reads this. Fans would be a great idea and I would def come back as book again. As for now...I think we will choose a different cabin. I’ve been staying in cabins in Gatlinburg for a long time...there’s better suited cabins for the same or less money. Because it’s so hot...I don’t recommend bringing infants on this one for sure.

Relaxing mountain retreat

Enjoyed our stay here and would book again. Double deck outside is awesome for spending the mornings with a coffee and the evenings with a glass of wine. Comfy beds, clean, good stock of kitchen supplies. Used the grill twice and washer/dryer. Road is very steep and winding to the property but plenty of space to park 2 cars in driveway. Easy access to the national park which is why we came. Bear in our driveway first morning we awoke. Suggestions for improvement- upgrade on electric outlets, treatment for wood boring bees, another small nightstand in master, extra hook on bathroom door for towel/hand towel, inside steps are solid but a little steep and lastly a slightly larger kitchen or more counter space. These are only suggestions if the property owner ever wonders what could be improved because we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rebook if visiting the area again. Thank you for a peaceful relaxing mountain getaway

Family Affair that Prayer

Unfortunately, your cleaning service needs to improve. There was an excessive amount of dog hair upstairs especially on the area rug and on the side and under the recliner rocker. We actually have pictures if you would like to view. Also, your unit upstairs on the wall drips water so, we had to dry the floor several times in the corner near the dinning table. However, all other areas were clean. It’s a cozy house! Property would be recommended once items are addressed and would stay there again! Nice house just need better cleaning service!
