Ocean View and Garden Oasis Suite

Welcome to our 800 sq ft suite that is situated next to a little oasis, with a small ocean view. The kitchen is fully equipped with many new appliances. Next to the bedroom is a gorgeous spa like bathroom with heated floors. Watch a movie or read a book beside the gas fireplace. Laundry room is spacious. We are located less than a kilometre from the hospital, 3 blocks to the seawalk and 5 min drive to the city centre. We are located very close to all of Campbell Rivers amenities.

Value for money, Place as per Listing, Peaceful, Clean n Great Amber n Spotless. Warm n large sitting area to enjoy dinner/drinks too, just like home. Highly recommend, easy driving short distance to Town, Elk Falls hike n food place too.

Wonderful place to stay!

This suite is amazing!! This was our second stay and we would definitely stay again and again. It is so well stocked with absolutely everything you might need during your stay. The bed and the furniture are comfortable, the outdoor space in front of the suite is beautiful, and the views from the backyard are unbeatable. There isn’t one thing that we would change or add. Gorgeous suite with ocean and mountain views

Peaceful oasis on a beautiful property with incredible views of Discovery Passage and coastal mountains! This unit is one bed (kingsize), full bath, and completely outfitted kitchen with everything you need, including insuite laundry. Very tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Hosts respond immediately to any questions or needs. I stayed here for 30 days and loved every one of them!

A Gem in Campbell River

Five Shining Stars!

This is the best place to stay on Vancouver Island! It's like staying at a 5-star hotel, only better. It has all the comforts of home, with a modern kitchen, modern furnishings, and a deluxe king-sized bed. It's centrally located, and close to everything Campbell River has to offer. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic apartment-Hidden Gem

This apartment was perfect for my wife and I to use while we visited family in Campbell River. Everything you could want was supplied: snacks (popcorn, chips, chocolate bars), soup, full selection of pots and pans, even some frozen entrees! Topping it off was a king sized bed and an amazing large bathroom. One of the best things was the view from the terrace in the backyard. Absolutely stunning views of the water and Quadra Island. You can even see the ocean from the kitchen window while doing dishes. We would definitely stay here again!

Hidden Gem in Campbell River

We absolutely loved our stay in Campbell River. The suite was immaculate...with modern amenities and furnishings, and all the comforts of home. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, providing lots of info for things to do in Campbell River. And the location was perfect, and close to everything. We will definitely return! Absolutely spectacular

Stayed here with my son over the May long weekend so he could attend a hockey camp. Unit is better than described and Josie is a spectacular host. Unit is tastefully decorated and very well equipped, we did not want for anything during our stay. Location is quiet but still close to amenities, walking distance to many, including the Sea walk. We only used the bed, but the hide-a-bed could suffice for kids to sleep on. If this unit is available, BOOK IT, you will not regret. Thanks for a wonderful stay Josie, hope we can find time and availability in your calendar to come back!

Perfect home away from home

We stayed at Josie’s place for a full month and were perfectly happy with every aspect of the suite. From the peaceful patio oasis to the fully equipped kitchen, the giant super comfy bed to the beautiful glass shower, it had all the comforts of home and then some! Nice mountain views from the dining table, and even better views from outside, esp from the patio above the rock garden in backyard. The location was central to everything CR has to offer, and we enjoyed the quiet street and interesting neighbourhood walks each evening, when we often found a new book to read in one of the free mini libraries. Gorgeous views from everywhere in this part of town! The suite is spacious, modern and comfortable, and best of all super CLEAN! Josie and Lorne were some of the nicest hosts we’ve ever met - welcoming, friendly, quiet, helpful, generous… not enough space here to say how great they were. Already planning our next visit!

A real gem!

We have had the pleasure of staying at 216 S. McLean Street in Campbell River, BC for 3 fabulous months. Josie and her husband,Lorne, are the host and hostess with the mostest. We’ve travelled extensively and have never, ever had such an abundance of “goodies” to make our stay one to remember forever. There is nothing we are lacking. Their attention to detail is everywhere. The accommodation itself is superb, beautifully furnished, very well appointed with new appliances and there is everything one needs to make delicious meals. Our weather has been amazingly sunny and bright and we have enjoyed the patio to the max. It’s a step over the front door threshold and you are there. The ocean views are gorgeous and can be seen from the patio, kitchen and living room windows. We have felt so cosseted and looked after that we never want to leave. The landscaping surrounding the patio is very beautiful. There are different colours, textures and heights and with the addition of a gold fish pond with a fountain feature; it is a fabulous spot to enjoy the peace and tranquility. Actually, we’ve coined “Tranquility Base” as our name for this place. They deserve 10 stars, not just 5.

Best EVER VRBO!!!

This was the best VRBO we have stayed in yet. Lovely suite, great kitchen, amazingly comfortable bed, it’s like sleeping in a cloud. The bathroom is very nice and modern. Great bathtub. The kitchen is very well stocked and equipped. There is an amazing view point in the backyard where you can see the ocean. Just amazing. Josie and Lorne are lovely and so nice. We really appreciated everything they did. This place has everything and more. It felt like staying in a 5-Star hotel. We will definitely come back one day. GabiΦl

Fantastic getaway

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place! It was clean, attractive, and well-equipped with so many extras, which reflect the generosity of the hosts. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and stocked with lovely food and cooking and baking equipment, and the bathroom was also beautifully done. The two outdoor spaces were also a treat. Thank you to our lovely hosts who made us feel welcome. We would love to stay again.
